Who will be celebrating Leif Erikson Day tomorrow since he's really the person who discovered America?
No plans for that, but redpill me on Leif Erikson while you're here.
He's the Viking who led the expedition from Greenland to Newfoundland around the year 1000. He was probably the first European to set foot on North American soil although there's some anecdotal evidence Irish monks arrived a few centuries earlier.
Italians have tried to take the glory for discovering N.A. Columbus wasn't even Italian! DNA tests on Columbus' son's skeleton prove Columbus was Spanish. The theory is that he was a pirate in his youth and didn't want to risk being recognized so he lied and said he was from Genoa.
He didn’t even discover America, nomads from Eastern Asia did, retard.
