>>332575 Yes, /pol/ scored a solid 4-2 agaibst /b/. Their last round will depend on how the /u/ vs. /b/ match goes. If /u/ wins, pol has to win by at least 1 more in their match vs /int/. If /u/ ties, /pol/ has to win by 1. If... if /b/... if /b/ wins (I know, bitbhear me out) if /b/ wins, /pol/ simply has to tie. Not looking good, ngl
Breakdown for tomorrow: Group A- meh, who cares? Group B- AGAIN, /POL/ COULD move on, but both /pol/ needs to beat /int/ AND /b/ needs to beat /u/. Group C- if /m/ and /i/ win, then the gays have to go back (to babbies) Group D- Hoping /tg/ and /adv/ win, but the latter only knows how to neck so,.... Group E- Literally, who cares? Group F- Hoping /x/ makes it, but its a 3/3/3/3 point spread, so anyone could take it.
>miss the /biz/ game >it pumps On the one hand it was /adv/, and them necking themselves was predicted but kudos to them for holding out as long as they did. Still, 4-0 is bullish for /biz/
>>334136 >>334137 Now that the dust has settled, these two posts are cancer. Not only is Plus not running the mlpol 4cc team anymore, but jesus christ, cant u fags let /biz/ take the glory for their own win without trying to appropriate it?
>>334273 Diggy doo Never been the manager, but if I had I imagine it would be rather grating to have a bunch of unrelated people trying to take/assume credit for things they had nothing to do with, other than observing. Lets take /mlp/ as an example (and Ill admit Ive been guilty of this, to my discredit), how many anons ACTUALLY participated in everything that led up to the 2 stars? Now tell me, how many posture as though it was a massive group effort, all hands on deck, we did it reddit, etc? I identify with the amount of work - much of which I DONT appreciate the gravity or intensity of - that goea into being manager. I observe and acknowledge that they do it willfully and otherwise thanklessly. I further observe how many non-participants are quick to pat eachother on the back for a job well done. Except, they didnt do anything. That shit occurs WITHIN the specific board. If I WERE a manager who had finally managed to score the big W, I would be quite cross with cross-board attempts to take credit.
Thanks for cheering us on lads. I was at work so i couldnt make it with plus and wand to chat during the final boss match. What a kino finals matchup that was
I was checking the /pol/eague thread when I was wondering if you all had a thread up for the cup. Glad to see this place hasn't changed much. >>334167 Thanks glad you enjoyed it too. >>334249 >>334285 I mean, my gut reaction when seeing it was a bit of disappointment. I nor my co-managers really ought not be an eceleb you all follow to that large a degree. But at the same time I also hope that this is similar to me getting Wand and R2 involved in /biz/ when neither of them browsed the board. Now they both own a lot of crypto and are financially much better off and enjoy /biz/ stuff. To a same degree beyond just catering to the 40-70 /biz/ fans I see this as an opportunity to get people to look at /biz/ culture and hopefully get them into something that can be as life changing as it was to me, or at the very least enjoy the memes. Anyways that is all a big way of saying its not a big deal don't worry about it bro.
>>334560 Appreciated, and having opened up several crypto positions of my own in the past year, I understand where you're coming from and to what you allude. Having said, 'mlpol won' is not a line I can cross. No contest that y'all ARE mlpol no matter what happens, thanks for everything and all. It kinda comes down to the following statement. (You) deserve all the success and achievement that your hard work has engendered in this cup. And mlpol deserves all the success and achievement that their hard work has engendered in this cup. If your crypto goes up and mine doesnt, I can be happy for you without saying 'my crypto went up', because thats simply not accurate. Likewise, when you guys win the cup I can be happy for you - even to the point of identifying you as 'one of us' AND to the point of identifying with /biz/ - without trying to blanket the whole board with congrats. I struggle with an adequate metaphor, but would it make sense to cheer for Aryanne when Sminem scores?
