I know they are planning on redoing the work he did which is good. Think he just worked on the Pipboy designs and icons. They are also planning on removing stuff like the weird sex stuff with America. Haven't played the mod but she is a young lady with severe asperation anxiety and depression and you can gas light her to the point you can make her put a slave collar on and be your sex slave just so she can have someone to be around. She also talks about her foot fetish.

Think they are planning on removing or changing other weird sex fetish stuff like the sentient lizard mutants who fuck humans to reproduce.

The thing that bothers me though is the references to real life stuff or dialog that sounds completly out of place like the Enclave dialog using modern day sjw jargon. Got a spy as well wearing aviators and you can tell him he looks like a James Bond villian which James Bond shouldn't exist in this world and even if it did how has the main character not only seen them but enough spy thrillers to know those kind of troupes.

Really feels like there wasn't much overall directing going on and they tried to bite off WAY more then they could chew writing wise. Could have just been a neat story of exiled NCR troops vs a new Legion horde forming with the NCR Exiles having to fight them alone to save the same NCR that branded them traitors. Didn't need all this sex stuff everywhere, Enclave helicarriers, going to space to fight cyborg nazis, having meta dream sequences, and spaceship battles.

Almost feels like it was written like a Fallout Equestria fanfic akin to Project Horizons with just escalating things more and more with a lot of needless sex stuff.

Yeah, that sounds bad. But to be honest, the James Bond stuff and spy movies could very well exist in the universe. The timeline diverts from the IRL one at least decades in the past, but bombs don't drop until 2077. And we're talking about a mod to a base game where you could get fucked in the ass by a robot hooker, or spend a night doing S/M shit with a ghoul with half of her skin missing.

From what I hear on a technical side the mod is really amazing considering it's fan made. Got the vehicles ground and ariel, new weapons that arf fun to use, a neat snow environment with fun enemies, and some general QoL stuff that improves even the base game a fair bit.

Pretty much all the gripes I hear have to do with the devs and some of the story beats. Listened to some stuff and some of the VA's do a good job as well. Apparently even got the VA for Noctis from FFXV on the project. I do know one of the devs said they are uncomfortable with the foalcon guy and requested their voice work be removed so that's another reason they took the mod down while they get new lines recorded. Which frankly that seems a bit extreme, from what I hear the guy stopped drawing MLP stuff 3 years ago and didn't publish it around so it's not like anyone could know. Just shows the purity spiral we are going down where even being tangentially related to stuff the mainstream doesn't approve of makes everyone panic and burn everything around them to beg for mercy.

It's not just that. The head dev stated on a livestream that "the Enclave are Trump supporters" and that any reason to play them is "a white supremacist power fantasy." This is while it's possible to play the Legion, a totalitarian state with slavery and rape, and it's possible to mindbreak a barely legal girl into a sex slave. Leftists don't care about hypocrisy but it's still hilarious.

I actually made some moderately successful mods for Fallout 4 (no, I'm not telling you which ones). Each of those require knowing different technical skills, and I haven't even touched on half the things possible in the engine, because I have no experience dealing with them. Something like The Frontier requires knowledge in every aspect of game development, save for the things the engine already provides automatically.
So either you learn the engine inside and out and have experience in (or a lot of time to time to learn) how every single thing in vidya works, or you set up a team that pretty much mirrors actual game dev studios, and all of you do it for free.

I once tried making a quest mod where a radio signal says "come to this badass fight arena and fight for cash" so you do. After winning the Star Followers, a splinter cell of the Followers Of The Apocalypse who became a mercenary PMC and serve InsertGirlNameHere Star tells you to join them. They went to The Republic Of Greater Texas and the leader became elected president for 7 years so far. A psychic girl with hologram projecters in her power armour, the only survivor of Dead Money who escaped before elijah started using bomb collars, leads this faction and cloned herself a lot of times. She is also an Enclave remnant because of course she is. A clone of her becomes your companion as you teleport into Area 51, an enclave base full of weird magic shit. The best stuff goes into your new player home which includes a hot babe spawner. In the end the Star Followers become OP enough to save America and defeat the Institute. I also thought about working this bullshit mary sue faction of mine into the main story.

Every ten seconds a stupid bug or engine quirk would fuck shit up and I just got sick of dealing with Fallouts engine. Coding everything from scratch in Game Maker or Unity would probably be faster. Maybe some day I'll make this "love letter to a mary sue oc i never did anything with" but for now I'm busy.

Wild Wasteland is a Trait you can give your character at the game's start, it makes some silly stuff around the game visible.
You can find Holy Hand Grenades, find some Indiana Jones hat-wearing skeleton in a fridge, see "Romanes Enut Donut" or whatever from Monty Python as graffiti, and so on. The Credits also get dumb one-liners after every name and Dead Money is renamed to Dead Money. The dead detective from Beyond The Beef also becomes a CSI Miami reference, I think.
Anyway, it sure is convenient that all the content people consider morally objectionable was either "just a joke" or "Only supposed to show up in Wild Wasteland's silly mode", riiiight?

This mod is left-wing and degenerate. If other lefties happened to join in on killing it, that's only a case of the left eating itself. The fact that this mod attracted an overwhelmingly negative response is overall a good thing, and the fact that one of the subhumans involved in it happened to be a horsefucker absolutely does not redeem it.
