>>276452>all they did was let their fucking cattle graze on federal lands and they were treated as terrorists. You forgot the whole story.
The trigger for legal action was a controlled burn they got permission from the government to conduct.
In the years leading up to that, the feds slowly took away access to public land for their grazing and water needs citing that the human and agricultural activity disrupted the neighboring bird sanctuary.
Meanwhile, the state universities studied human interaction and showed strong evidence that human activity increased bird activity and the overall health of the sanctuary.
Feds ignored everything and held them responsible for the damages from the controlled burn they received permission to conduct, imprisoned them, and fined them off the land.
People protested, then the feds pulled a ruby ridge-2.0 and murdered people.
>just because you're upset doesn't give you the right to commit acts of vandalism and attack federal fucking agents. If you look at American history, or even European history in general, it wouldn't be a protest without some destruction of property.
Stamp act riots, tea party, etc.
It's a modern belief that protests must be non-violent and non-destructive, when that ultimately does nothing to instigate change. There's been over 30 years of peaceful pro-palestinian demonstrations in the US, and look at what they've accomplished: Nothing.
And here we are. The only groups with anything resembling true freedom in the US, niggers, women, spics, commies, have failed to realize the importance of violence and it's unique ability to change any societal structure. Instead they bitch and moan when they have to do the dirty work because they've taken away those freedoms from everyone that wants actual change
