I actually think this can work to your advantage if you do it properly. Avoid overtly racist messaging, racial slurs, swastikas, nooses, and things like that obviously. Even if most "attacks" involving those kinds of messages didn't almost universally turn out to be hoaxes perpetrated by leftists themselves, that kind of shit is basically self-parody at this point. However, messages like IOTBW or even slightly more provocative but still-ambiguous phrases like "We are not sorry" or "Revolt against the modern world" would be good, and media attention is basically free advertising. In fact exposure for this sort of legitimate vandalism would help make it easier for the average normalfag to spot obvious hoaxes as hoaxes.

I also think that getting a bunch of Pony stickers or decals and slapping them over leftist stickers and flyers on light posts and so forth might be pretty funny, and for the timid this would be a vague enough statement that even the most hardline leftist DA would have a difficult time spinning a serious case out of it. This is definitely true as well. Anyone potentially engaging in this sort of thing should be as careful as possible and also understand and accept the risks involved. It's a good idea to research local statutes regarding vandalism and assume that if caught you will be given the maximum, so be sure that you can accept whatever the max sentence is in a worst case scenario. There's an old saying that says "if you can't do the time don't do the crime," which definitely applies.

The thing to take away is that any action taken comes with potential risks. Risk should be minimized, and anyone interested in playing Minecraft this way should try to be as Batman about it as they possibly can. But at the same time, the only way to completely eliminate risk is to do nothing, which means that nothing is ever achieved. Pay attention to how Antifa Minecraft groups play the game and see if you can't adapt their playing style to yours.

After watching the whole fiasco for myself it's clear that all these problems originated from Curt's complete ignorance on how to organize a rally. This is one of those instances where I have to say read Mein Kampf, not for the views or the Beer Hall Putsch, but simply to understand how Hitler accumulated a crowd of thousands. First of all, you have to be a very good public speaker; Curt did better than I thought he would do but it's clear he was going off a script and lost steam at the end.
In fact the whole speech lasting 25 minutes was just low-energy in general; Hitler was able to give speeches lasting hours and even today Trump can give an hour-long speech.
Also there was no conclusion; had it been his own event he could have had a procession to walk off that energy and give a show of power. Instead everyone was standing around and left hanging while Curt was sitting in an embarrassing pose having a chat as if this was a celebrity meet&greet.

This isn't to say tactics which worked in 1920's Germany would work today; Charlottesville was proof of that. However even if Curt wanted to use obsolete tactics/organize a honeypot he oughta have done it right. Thankfully it all failed.
