The cumjar entered mainstream awareness fairly recently, and by recently I mean several months ago. It's not necessarily a sign that he's a horsefucker or that he comes here, he most likely caught wind of it on Twitter or something.

That's not a bad mentality to have for someone who doesn't know anything about MLP. Fandoms frankly deserve to be treated with suspicion. Nonetheless by explaining the core principles of the show and /mlpol/ it's not hard to change their views on it.
Also keep in mind that he's referenced 2b2t which has become a wildly popular server in Minecraft circles. He's just up-to-date on internet happenings.
