For those that missed out on the first video in the project, Ponies the Continuation is /mlpol/'s version of Ponies the Anthology, a collaboration to make a video comprised of typically quick fire jokes, references, and occasionally animations. Our first video has been a bigger success than I thought, reaching over 100 views. I want to thank everyone for the positive feedback as well.

It is time to begin work on the next entry due about the same time as the last, around a week before Christmas. If you enjoy this video, consider joining the creation of the sequel. There is plenty of time to get started, even if you are completely new to video editing. I learned some basics thanks to this project and I aim to push my skills even further for this one.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean. If you mean the project becomes ridiculous, I don’t believe that will be the case. If you mean what is being promised can not be realistically achieved without disappointment, that depends largely on how you liked the first one. I don’t think there will be a huge change in style.
I’m more worried about becoming like Ponies the Anthology became over the years. It was still good fun, but something was missing. Like the soul of the whole thing is just not there that the first three had. Something felt hollow. But perhaps that was just me.
Either way, I plan on making this be a fun project that was can be proud of. And I encourage you to help make it as well if you have the time.

Alright. I'm finally in a spot where I can more consistently work on making content. Is there anypony that is interested in working on the project and will consider making weekly/monthly updates on progress? I think the key to getting a larger submission pool this go around is to be active in bumping the thread with good signs of progress. I will begin work on a clip to act as another demo tomorrow.

Any and all help is appreciated. And as far as animation, I haven't figured out how to do that myself. One day I might figure it out. I just splice video clips together and put sound over it for now, and I think it works decently well.

This means your rendered clip will likely not be a large file and it won't have to be complex. If you would like a rundown on what I use, I will be glad to help you.
Even if you don't wish to use or are unable to get video editing software running, any ideas in the form of jokes, videos, or skits you know, feel free to post them here for others to be able to use as inspiration for the project. There is a lot of time left to get started, so any time you want to, just post here.

Thanks for your help, I didn't know Flowblade, it looks powerful. On the other side I'm using already Youtube-DL with GUI and I'm very satisfied.
Now the issue is to learn how to use the video editors, until now I only know how to clip videos.
