Sure, a lot of them become sliders but a few of them can become their own thing. I don't know the history of Anonfilly, I guess they actaully came from the pony transform general or whatever it is/was called. The point is that if they had been stuck in a general they would never become what they are today.
I feel like it kills creativity. That's why I don't create a writing thread. It feels like on some level people feel like they can't post writingfag related stuff outside of such a thread for example.
I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like; yes, silders die; but generals stagnate.

I can but don't see why you didn't make one yourself if you liked the idea. It is not like I gain something from creating it.
Drawing in general isn't my area of expertice. I mean I'm above average in skill but lately I can't bring myself to do it. It isn't what I'm aiming to be good at anyway. I can't put in the energy and time into even making those oekaki pics anymore, which took me like max a quarter.

You have a great potential of improving your art but you might also want to consider from what angle you want to start improving or what you wish to set as a priority. There's a duality in drawing ponies. It is very hard to draw them because they are the simpliest and easiest ones to draw. Paradox, right?

You don't need to know perspective or anatomy to get it done. It only requires space orientation and taking control over your line work. Like, for example. Every object has an outer shape of some sort. Take a frying pan for example. If you just trace the outer edge of it you will get a shape of a flat circle and a rectangular. With that comes the overall aesthetics of art. It's when you not only see how your lines shape he object but also how to properly align those lines to achieve the goal.
