There really are too many AiE stories where Anon is portrayed as either some kind of smug and infallible irl shitposter, or else as a wish-fulfillment gigachad who effortlessly slays all the horsepussy. Realistically, your average imageboard poster probably would cause problems as he attempts to adapt to a life in Ponyville, and if any mare actually attempted to reach out to him she'd probably find herself on the brink of cutting all contact with the guy multiple times.
That's not to say that every greentext needs to have that sort of realism, but it could be refreshing to read after going through dozens of AiE stories that basically boil down to "Anon btfo'd the bad guys and then had horse sex with my waifu."

I'm inclined to agree. I think a typical anon who has difficulty making irl friends would gain a slight advantage in Equestria just because these ponies on average are much friendlier, less cynical, and much more forgiving of faults than humans. But in contrast, Anon would be a much more difficult friending case than these ponies are used to, and would probably bring a lot of troublesome elements into their world. I can see him mostly getting on the ponies nerves and probably corrupting their world somewhat.

Technically doesn't need to be Anon, because the situation changes from person to person, and due to luck, and circumstance.
So I was making an outline of major events for this idea, but the outline isn't that dark even though it could be much more grim.
Was thinking it would turn out to be one uprooting of rulers after the next until the very end.
What if Equestria is locked into constantly shifting regimes when the Human fucks up the Rainbow beam.
First, Nightmare Moon seeing first hand that the person is a walking saftey hazard for any, and all plans gets the basic premise of the show to save the ponies. Keeping the elements alive, seperating them from the jewellery. Discord is a massive problem later on. So the elements bearers will have handlers when they have the elements, and protection just in case when they don't.
Interlude of Luna forcing Nightmare that ruling over the ponies is better than killing everyone.
Sending the human to a remote town where nothing could be fucked up.
On the way there the human meets Trixie. Giving some words of advice to the mare. The spaghetti of words Trixie go to Ponyville for a different performance about a massive dragon, not about Ursas.
The town happens to have Shining Armor, and princess Mi Amore in disguise.
Human becomes a public menace, the shadow bolts watching the Human keep things 'peaceful'. Their job is to contain the human and make sure the human doesn't take direct action.
Human also teaches the local poners on how to become a proper rebellion via human history.
Local poners don't like the human, but tactically tolerate the human.
Human is kept alive, and well to try to remember how to make those advanced weapons, and other stuff the human said.
News of a dragon nearly destroying a pony town, then getting in a fight with an Ursa minor, and major glorious ruler Nightmare Moon saved the day.
Wounded the poner rebellion strikes at NMM causing enough chaos to free Discord.
Discord brings the chaos. He brings back Celestia.
Celestia makes a deal with Discord to bring back Luna. Discord doesn't get stoned, and has a random week (split however he wants) every yearish to do all the chaos, then it everything back or better. Celestia also has to wear a funny outfit for a month every year.
Element team finally get everything needed and blasts the Nightmare.
Tearful meeting with student and teacher.
Human is contacted by Discord, and Celestia. Discord says to continue doing human things, and release any human stuff. Celestia says that continued dickery is not permitted. She does want the now defunct future knowledge.
Due to the human teaching poners about rebellions word gets to Cozy Glow.
Celestia wants something done about Glimmer.
Celestia is going to put Cozy through rehab.
Multiple parts of the nation are experiencing civil unrest.
A Royal wedding might stop such a thing. If not that the show of force vs the changlings will.
The Changlings are rebuffed physically, then through the power of love.
Human continues to piss off nearly everyone.
The elements are more jaded by their first failure redeem themselves by zapping the Nightmare then begin to grow better as wellrounded ponies.
Then after the wedding the human tells them that their bond as friends could be used at anytime to summon the friendship beam.
They are not happy to hear that, and realize the rule of NMM could have been stopped at the very beginning.
Glimmer is aquired by Cozy Glow both are evading the law.
Tirek is missing.
Crystal Empire is back.
A trap for Sunset Shimmer is set so that Celestia can talk.
Equestria is mostly stable, but can be whipped into a frenzy really quickly.
Once rumors leaks about the human that could have stopped NMM at the start spreads many have a bone to pick.
Celestia, after getting everything, knows that the human knows way too much, and is now a liability. Depends if the knowledge from the comics are canon.

I can't bring myself to write this because these characters deserve better than this. The show already wronged them and their world. How can I do that worse? I'm a massive fucking faggot who can't write about his favourite characters or world suffering. This show means something to me and I don't know what, but I love these mares.
