CATALONIA IN FLAMES

Barcelona is quite literally on fire, with protest rising up all across the Province synced with the release of the sentence of the Catalan politicians that were being judged for the events 2 years ago with the referendum. Here's a summary of the whole thing.

SENTENCE

On Monday, it was released the sentence for the Catalan politicians that organized the referendum for independence 2 years ago
The result was 9-13 years for each, with a total of 99 years and a half among all of them
The sentence is very well redacted, and it explains in detail how these people decided they were going for the independence of Catalonia, signed laws for it, and when those laws were nullified and were warned by the Supreme Court, they kept going, celebrated the referendum for independence, declared the independence and suspended it shortly after, and people from different parties signed another declaration of independence placing the Spanish state to sit and dialogue to go towards independence.
Among the proven cases of high violence is the counseling that was besieged and the justice functionary had to jump from a roof to the building nearby to be able to get out, politicians stood on top of police cars with megaphones to rile up the masses, the cars themselves were completely wasted, and more.
The rebuttal of the arguments for the independence that the Catalans wield is also very well done, not only it has no legal basis in international law, federal law or regional law, but it is also missing from most of all the constitutions of the EU and its legal systems is forbidden, and in many of those countries, the secessionist parties are illegal, and of course, no public money
After the fantastic description of a textbook case of a crime of Rebellion across hundreds of pages, the supreme court decides it is a case of sedition, which is a crime with much lesser legal consequences, similar to thievery and robbery

The crime of Rebellion goes like this
>Inmates of the crime of rebellion are those who rises up violently and publicly with the following ends:
>1.º Derogate, suspend or modify the Constitution partially or totally
>2.º Remove or strip the King or Head of State totally or partially of his prerogatives and faculties
>5.º Declare independence of part of the National Territory
>7.º Subtract any kind of armed forces from the obedience of the Government

Sedition is rising publicly and tumultuously to stop the application of the law, but it does not name remove the head of state, nor take over an armed forces nor declare the independence of the national territory

It gets better. How do the Supreme Court justifies this?
Well, because these people didn't want independence, just to force the government to negotiate independence, despite the sentence itself declaring there was a declaration of independence, a law of disconnection for the independence, a legally binding referendum for independence, and after the independence was suspended there was a document signed by all the deputies (who will probably never sit before court) saying they were going towards independence, and the conclusion of the supreme court from their own narration is that there was no attempt to create an independent state.
IT WAS A PRANK ALL ALONG
Is there more? Yes there it!
Not only they didn't actually want the independence despite signing the declaration for it, but is impossible to have a crime of rebellion because the rebellion would never triumph, as the state forces would truncate it before it happened.
So you know, in Spain, going to the bank with a gun, taking the money out of the vault and attempting to run away is not a bank robbery as long as there are 20 or so policemen waiting for you outside, this is just a minor theft, because it was impossible for you to commit the crime

Thanks to this new fantastic jurisprudence from the Supreme Court, anybody who ever tries to take part of the territory, they will only be judged by sedition, and not rebellion, since this is a special crime where you don't get judged if you actually succeed
IT GETS BETTER!
The supreme court also rejected the petition from the prosecutor to stop the inmates from receiving the third degree till they have go at least through half the sentence, which is basically "semi-freedom", which requires them to spend at least 8 hours a day in prison, and have the rest of the day free, as long as they have a security measure like a wristband or something
And since they are jailed in the prison of Catalonia under the Catalan jurisdiction, that is still threatening to declare independence through violence, can be given conditional freedom at any point, we might see them out of jail by the end of the week
They also didn't even glaze towards the testimony of the ministry of economy Montoro that gave hundreds of millions to a government which was well known to be conspiring to break the state, yet lied saying there was no money being used for the act
Maybe they just assumed it was for beer and called it a day

This whole thing sets a fantastic precedent for the future of Spain, making it clear that NOBODY will be judged for the crime of Rebellion, and they will just get out of jail pretty much instantly
The message is clear, trying to break the State is free.
In other words impunity.

TL;DR: THE MISERABLE AMOUNT OF POLITICIANS BEING JUDGED FOR THE REFERENDUM ON THE 1ST OF OCTOBER 2017 AND THEIR MANY CRIMES GET OFF SCOT-FREE WITH A PAT IN THE BACK THANKS TO THE MENTAL GYMNASTICS OF OUR CORRUPT JUDGES

CATALONIA

The Catalans have been preparing for this moment for quite some time, the sentence of the Catalan politicians
As a matter of fact, the 23rd of September the Spanish police launch an operation comically named Operation Judas
The police made arrest all across Barcelona in 5 different municipalities arresting 9 members of the CDRs
They also found blueprints of the headquarters of the Police, as well as material for building explosives: Aluminum dust, termite, ammonium nitrate, sulfuric acid, paraffin, as well as a reference manual to cook bombs released by Al-Qaeda 10 years ago
They have testified they wanted to occupy the parliament for 5 days and that the Catalan president Torra was in the known of the whole thing
The arrested are in prison and waiting for the judicial resolution of their cause
The Catalan president and the media in response accused the police and the government for arresting people that were just building fireworks and trying to create a false narrative of violence in Catalonia

On Monday, in response of the sentence, the long awaited protest started.
The protest concentrated on the airport Barcelona, El Prat, with hundreds of people blocking access with more than a hundred flights cancelled
Multiple streets have been cut, and the train AVE has been disabled due to the logs that were cut by a chainsaw on the morning of Monday.
All this have hindered the access of the emergency service to the sick people trapped in the chaos, and the panic attacks, that have caused so far one death, a French tourist by the name of , and all the blocking of transport did not help to the emergency service arrive to save him
The emergency service have been able to treat only 131 people by Tuesday, 115 in the airport, and 24 moved to health centers, one with an eye wound
The ministry of interior made comments today regarding the great coordination of the Catalan and Spanish police forces when establishing order
Marcel Mauri, spokesman of Òmnium Cultural, declared on TV that what we saw yesterday was a civic and pacific response in most cases and there were non-independent people that are also fed up because the sentence was unfair
In the morning Òmnium Cultural and National Assemble Catalan summoned more protest for the entire day across Catalonia
The headquarters of all right wing parties, as well as stores of the families of politicians of these parties show signs of beings attacked by Catalan Nationalist
At 1pm in Lerida more than 100 mayors joined together against the sentence of the Supreme Court which qualified as "revenge"
1:30pm The EU parliament reactivated the prohibition for accessing any of their buildings to Carlos Puigdemont after the Spanish justice issued another Euro order
2pm it was reported that 4 train lines had been suspended
The universities of Catalonia have been stopped by the actions of the pro-secession
3pm the Catalan parliament received a notification by the supreme court judge Llanera where they were notified that the criminal Carles Puigdemont is no longer suspended, and he will be able to receive his salary as member of the EU parliament
3:50pm the urban guard notified of another protest that degenerated into violent acts
4:10pm the french tourist alliance Exel Tour manifest their worrying over the protest in Catalonia and noted they had lost more than 300 million € after the referendum of 2017
4:26pm president adviser and spokesman for the Catalan government stated that the Catalan government shares the impotence of the people before the sentence and the citizens are expressing their solidarity and empathy through peaceful and civic protest, but also trough blunt actions such as the collapse of infrastructure of the Airport
4:40pm Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow stated the possibility of Carlos Puigdemont that ran off to Belgium and reclaimed by the Spanish justice could speak in the British parliament
5pm Catalan police fought in the street AP-7 in Gerona with 500~ nationalist that trowed objects, caused fires and insulted them multiple times
5:35pm Catalan President Torra arrived at the prison to visit the politicians in prison
6:30pm the deputation of Barcelona voted the resolution of rejection against the sentence of the supreme court and demands amnesty and showed compromise with the right of self determination
7pm Torra summoned the independentist to join the protest in the marches and showed compromise with the right of self determination of Catalonia
7:15pm The violence escalated unleashed by the Catalan nationalist the syndicate of police of Catalonia reproach the Catalan president Torra that refused to condemn the violence against the Catalan police and showed no concern for the 3 policemen already wounded
7:25pm Catalan nationalist trowed flares against the police while the streets blocked kept increasing, with whole kilometers being blocked
7:39pm Catalan nationalist attacked the fences from the police cord and the agents were forced to shoot the air to stop the masses
7:57pm The State Department of the US requested moderation from those protesting against the sentence of the supreme court
8:40pm The Catalan nationalist are using urban warfare methods, covered with hoods and masks, tore down paving stones from the ground and threw them against the police forces
9:15pm The Catalan nationalist keep on attacking the police, but also the news reporters, throwing crystal bottles, among other objects, making many live retransmissions to stop emitting
9:22pm Police charges Tarragona, as well as another 4 regions to try to stop the savagery from the nationalist
9:40pm the Catalan nationalist started grabbing motorbikes from the streets to use them against the police, and the CDRs used twitter to incite more violence with symbols of fires, that already covered several streets of Catalonia

11:30pm government emits a statement where they rejected the possibility of this being a peaceful movement and it was a coordinated movement using violence in the street
The amount of wounded officers is of 18 Spanish and 8 Catalan
11:40pm 74 wounded through the day

The president has said he will wait to take extreme solutions, and that moderation is another form of waiting, and some other garbage nonsense, while also demanding that Catalan president Torra condemns these acts
His only proposal late today was to create a committee to follow the acts taking place in Catalonia

More news keep on coming, police being thrown rocks and acid, nationalist getting rammed by cars, throwing rockets at helicopters to try to shoot them down...
This is exiting the pre-revolutionary state and entering actual revolutionary measures, and is becoming a well planned, well organized, taxpayer funded coup, and it looks like is going straight to a Civil War
If the death was a Catalan, and not a poor French man that died before the emergency services could save his live, we would probably have more scaling of the events

At the political side, this is quite a conundrum for our caretaker government, since we have elections in less than a month, and he's absolutely against taking any measures to actually fix the problem
The only one with a proper response, VOX, has already made the procedures to declare a state of emergency

I'm not sure if this will lead to an actual independence, but I do know that the people organizing it, the people riling it up and cheering, and the people actually doing the harm will go absolutely unpunished from all of this
Because they always have
If the government and the courts actually bothered to punish any of this decades ago, we might have been able to stop this
If this sentence actually punished these people, instead of giving them a pat in the back, and the hundreds it should have instead of the 9 they pretended to condemn, this might not have happened
If the government closed the embassies, removed the education and the media from the secessionist this wouldn't have come to pass

But Alas, nothing will be done, and they people that tried to remove a chunk of the country will leave as well, with barely any consequences from their mistakes, but a lot learn from the experience, ready to try again
And if they suffer any economic problem, like hordes of companies leaving Catalonia, the fax1st Spanish Government™ will just keep throwing more taxpayer money at them

I'll update regularly for the following events, civil war soon

Valley of the Fallen.jpg
Franco's Grave.jpg
>>247427

THE EXHUMATION OF FRANCO SPECIAL

I need a bit of context for this

The abbey where Franco's remains reside is called "The Valley of the Fallen"
The construction of the abbey was commissioned to the Benedictine order by Franco the 23 of August of 1957, granting the ownership rights of the Valley of Cuelgamuros, where the abbey was built, to the Benedictines.
The purpose behind the construction was "To perpetuate the memory and give a worthy frame of repose to the heroes and martyrs of the glorious Crusade", and with the exception of Franco and a few members of the clergy, it holds graves for the fallen from both sides from the Spanish Civil war from 1936.
Franco died in 1975, and was buried in the basilica by express wishes of the king, but against the wishes of the Franco family.
The basilica was then protected by international rights with the Vatican after the constitution of 1978, making it so the government now needs to ask for permission of the abbot or whomever is in charge of the place of religious cult.
And so it was forgotten...
Until 40 years later when the socialist government decided it was going to make its electoral by profaning his grave and digging up his corpse.
The dream project to exhume the dictator has been on legal limbo since April, held by a local judge in Madrid because the work project designed for lifting that 1500kg stone slab had some questionable decisions when it comes to proper safety of the place in which is being carried out
Until last week, when the supreme court gave the green light to the government to go ahead with it
The fantastic sentence include things such as
>He's a dictator, a public figure of great renown, as such, he's a special case, and so we cannot apply the law the same way" aka fuck equality under the law
>Is a case of social emergency, general interest, severe gravity", but since the court skipped the part where they justified why those things applied here, they now effectively apply to any situation the government says is a social emergency
>the process for the work permit in Madrid is overruled, the government can from now on perform any type of building work in an existing public monument protected due to their high cultural value without a building license nor proper project for the works
>the basilica is protected by international agreements with the church, but the government does not need to ask for permission nor expropriate the building even if it doesn't belong to the government as long as it doesn't "affect religious liberty"
>Since this is a law decree (Spain's executive action) it trumps over the jurisdiction of the autonomies, and so, the family (or anybody else that is affected by a future law decree for that matter) cannot do anything through any regular court, just legislative action. Franco's corpse belongs to the government now
The government has since closed the Valley and will bury Franco late this very week
How the corpse will be moved is not yet decided, but there are talks about using an helicopter
If the coffins falls out of the helicopter we'll have half the civil servants looking for the 40 year old corpse in the middle of the mountains, and become the laughingstock of the world yet again
I don't think our dignity can sink any lower at this point, even Lithuania laughs at us

Will Spain be able stop Catalonia from becoming a independent state now after they have so utterly pissed on the people. My prediction is that Spain will have a hard time doing it. And the press is this time also eerily quiet like with the yellow vest protests.
It is like they are afraid of something, like they fear the EU will crumble and their NWO along with it. /s

>Spain will have a hard time doing it
Catalans are not brave, and the people in there are young people, the universities were empty today. You only need the will to take proper measures and the whole thing will eventually return back to normal. This is very unikely to happen however.

>It is like they are afraid of something, like they fear the EU will crumble and their NWO along with it
If you mean the Spanish government is interested in protecting the NWO from the EU, you couldn't be further from the truth
Our politicians see the EU as a cash cow that gives them money, privileges such as extra salary and diets, and make their government easier as long as they are good bois and obey whatever they say. Other than that, just tax the people and get as many grafts as you can for when you're governing, and after you're out of government.
That and the ocassional Soros's visit, that they have to obey because he's Soros, and they don't want any trouble.

There were protest and people outraged during the first day, but they were removed by the police as per government's orders. And nobody can take any legal means thanks to the new "law decrees overule almost anything" approach they have taken
The only way to stop something like this is for the church to do something about it, since the supreme court broke an international agreement because they felt like it, and go to the EU court in Strasbourg to settle the matter
But the church are traitors, and they will let it happen, as well as discourage anybody from their ranks who tries to do something

A reminder that this term is as artificial and false as "human rights".
International law is a concept brought by the globalist UN to impose their rules on the national laws, therefore it is invalid and kinda a canard.
The same kind of false and arbitrary concept is the fabrication of "human rights".

>Catalans are not brave, and the people in there are young people
It is a shame as this is the perfect opportunity for them. All they need to do is accelerate the situation a bit and the Spanish government has to either accept Catalonian independence or accelerate it further until there is a civil war. Deescalation is the worst that can happen. It will only result in "lets have talks" and "talkshows" about it.

>Our politicians see the EU as a cash cow that gives them money, privileges such as extra salary and diets, and make their government easier as long as they are good bois and obey whatever they say.
Sadly you are right, and politicians might not always be conscious to the road they are taking the country. But as you say they will always follow the sack of money dangling in front of them. The "clever part" is that they will always reach the sack of money if they do as they are told, and they will discover there is a new sack dangling just a little further ahead. The sack is never full enough to quench their appetite, just enough to make them take one more step. And laundering the money through th EU obscuring the source and the beneficiaries keeps most in the dark.

>The only way to stop something like this is for the church to do something about it,
I wonder if people flooded the church requesting sanctuary and stopped the removal by physically being present. Will the church turn away people asking for sanctuary and deliver them to the police. Or will they follow tradition and grant sanctuary to those who ask for it. They might say they don't need sanctuary, but without giving people sanctuary they will be sent to jail for trying to protect a christian grave from being defiled.

>All they need to do is accelerate the situation a bit and the Spanish government has to either accept Catalonian independence or accelerate it further until there is a civil war. Deescalation is the worst that can happen
All that needs to happen is for the government to apply the law and start arreting people in mass, instead of trying to apease them. Specially now considering the Catalan police, the only armed forces they have are having some trouble as well.
There's no deescalation possible, everyone from the Catalan side is cheering for more violence, whereas the government of Spain is sending strongly worded letters and concerned concerns about the situation. This can only get worse from here.

>Sadly you are right, and politicians might not always be conscious to the road they are taking the country
Oh, they are conscious of it alright, they just don't give a crap.

And since my governments for a decade have based their relationship with the EU as "we do a fancy laundry of what our economic numbers actually are" to the point the EU had to create an organization just to supervise the bs numbers they were given by our ministry of economy because it was painfully obvious how fake they were
While they do everything the EU tells them to do, they will lie to the face of the EU if it means they get more money

>muh church
The basilic was closed and the people were removed by the police several days before the exhumation will take place.
The church is one of the biggest traitors in this whole thing, the abbot was actually trying to stop it, yet the church told him to stop
The church is also very in favor of Catalan independence, with nuns carrying big signs cheering for the destruction, as well as having bacldoor deals with the Catalan government
If we count every I'll the country is in, illegal muslim immigration, endless debt, feminist ideology, separatist... there is not a single evil the church is not cheering for.
The pope, a few months back, said he refuses to go to Spain until the situation has normalized. Which is funny because his own archbishops are the ones riling up for more violence and more animosity while protecting all sort of vermins and of course, receiving a generous sum from the taxpayer
There might be good cardinals and priest in the organization, but if you believe for a single second the institution will move a finger to defend its followers or the people who fough for them in the past, you're deluding yourself.

It's only valid if the national 5th column play along.
International law means that a club of countries with chairs in the U.N. can overrule national laws. That means to surrender sovereignty, plain treason and absurd from every angle.
Think about it, this is the narrative imposed after the WWII to the rest of the world, do as the Security Council says or face the music, which translates into the (((oligarchs)))' will, backed by goyim's armies plus global economic attrition.
Once you accept (((their))) narrative you are willingly surrendering and playing by their rules.

Parliament session in Catalonia

President Torra
>"The Spanish state couldn't manage the explosion of the free people"
>"The fear has had consequences: exile, jail, constrant threats... Which had led to a violation of civil rights. They have responded with the Criminal code and repression"
>"2 years after being jailed, we have an infamous sentence, a sentence that buries the rights obtained years ago. A sentence that condemn us to live under the chains of an old and obsolete constitution and limits so many rights that Catalans went to through so many difficulties to obtain"
>"You don't need to be independestist to see this is an unberable shame. Don't you think is time to go a step forward?"
>"Violence does not represent us. I'm socked that people demand of me now to condemn this violence when they will never condemn the violence of the Police and Security Forces during the celebration of the referendum from the 1st of October
>"If placing some ballot boxes condemn us to 100 years, the respnse is clear, we will need to put ballot boxes again for self-determination"
>"Our country has 2 kinds of tools and an engine that will be necessary: a budget for 2020 that will be the basis of social change, and starting a constitutional debate that has a very high level of participation and will be the key to open the republic"
>"No tribunal will stop this president from pushing new iniciatives for the right to self determination"

Other parties demand he position himself regarding the violence taking place, some calls for new elections, some call for his resignation and some have yet to speak

I include a video of the ministry of interior having some wine with his friend in Madrid while his men bleed among the fires of Catalonia

>I thought Spain's constitution actually allowed for its provinces to seek independence
That is not true
Article 2 reads as follows
>The constitution is based in the indissoluble unity if the Spanish nations, common fatherland and indivisible of all the people's of Spain and recognize and guarantees the right to the autonomy of the nationalities and regions that integrate it and the solidarity among each of them
And we have crimes against secession, such as the crime for rebellion I mentioned above
But since the pro-independence parties are not expressly forbidden, and they are very convenient for politicians when trying to form a coalition government, they haven't really bothered to do anything about it. Just make government pacts to get to power and throw money at them

I was mostly referring to the section of international law that talks about the right to self-determination, in which most of the Catalan argument for independence is based upon. Yet this is explicitly recognized just for the Colonies, nor for each province that wants to become independent

I know. However if you are a Spaniard, you should refrain from citing anything from the U.N., much less to give it validity, because it is a Trojan horse meant to allow foreign agents to meddle into your land and people.

>is a Trojan horse meant to allow foreign agents to meddle into your land and people.
Oh, absolutely. But I would expect nothing but strongly worded letters and condemnations, perhaps some sanctions until the situation escalates or the media spins it around like they always do. And since for once the US doesn't seem like they want to play nation builders, I'm even less worried. As far as international organizations go, the EU is a much bigger problem than UN agreements.

That reminds me, there has been talks to also dig up Jose Antonio's grave as well, but nothing solid so far.

Protesters and their balls.mp4
Time lapse of one of the six columns heading to #Barcelona from all #Catalonia.mp4
briefing cataluna embassies.pdf
These protests taking place in Catalonia go by the name Democratic Tsunami
During Friday, where a general strike was announced by the CDRs, tons of events have been canceled
From concerts to theaters, as well as more than 50 plane flights from Barcelona plus tourist and merchant ships that were planning to dock there from Germany, France and Italy
In a similar fashion, transport stations and tourist locations like the Sagrada Família have also been closed due to concerns regarding security
Volkswagen has given authorization to Seat, the biggest company in Catalonia, to move their business out of the province if they deem it necessary
The Spanish confederation for the transport of goods estimates the transport sector loses 25million € per day due to the multiple cuts in the streets of Catalonia
The embassy of France, the state department of the US, and multiple foreign consulates have made warnings to their citizens about Catalonia, and to not go there under any circumstance, since is dangerous
These cuts include the AP-7 in la Jonquera, the main pass between Spain and France through asphalt, and has 60% of all the goods transported to Europe, or around 20k tons in 10k vans daily
Since most of the products are perishable, this is making Spain lose many contracts
This is also starting to cause some trouble to the supplies of the different shops in Catalonia

Police syndicates have complained about the long work hours, of more than 15 a day, without any backup relief officers or basic supplies, and have requested a meeting with the Safety Board to find a solution
They also complained it was well known there was going to be a protest after the sentence and there was more than enough time to plan a decent strategy that does not fail at every step.

Before any movement started, Catalan police discovered and extracted a modified gas bomb in the middle of Barcelona on Friday, likely placed there after the 05:00 hours

The day started with "freedom marches" from 5 different places in Catalonia with hundreds of thousands of people across multiple highways in Catalonia towards Barcelona
France closed their border with Catalonia and they have warned their citizens to travel there
A significant amount of time was designed to cover a video about "right wing extremist" recorded in 3 different angles beating up a protestor, and all Catalan politicians, some Spanish ones and the media showing their concern , and calling for resignations in the police force that allowed this outrageous thing to happen
Puigdemont showed up in a Belgian court after the Spanish Euro order against him, and the Belgium court decided they're not sending him back to Spain, and he'll remain free for now
Spanish's Business organization's confederacy have expressed their concern about the impossibility do their jobs for the people of Catalonia, and asks from the Catalan government to restablish peace and order and allow the citizens to work
Spanish Ministry of interior states that the clashes yesterday were few, thanks to the good efforts of the police, and they have identified one of the leaders of the extreme right wing and fascist groups that were protesting alongside the independentist, but he's worried because they might show up today as well

Catalan president Torra has sent a document to all their embassies critizising the sentence of the trial, in full english. I attached it here, but I didn't found it without watermark, sorry
Vicepresident of the Catalan of the Catalan government is sad that the protest by the independentist have summoned the violence from right wing extremist
The webpage of the movement was closed down by the police, but then reopened a few hours later, with the message "Do you believe you can stop a Tsunami?" and recomend using a VPN to avoid Spanish censorship.

Puigdemont makes an interesting tweet
https://twitter.com/KRLS/status/1185145616407678976
>I will follow the evolution of a very important day in Catlonia, with the "freedom marches" and general strike.
>Thanks to all who make this possible and show the most efficient manner to mobilize and protest: a massive dose of civics

To all of this, what is the opinion of the executive?
The President of Spain had a meeting in Brussels of the European Council and insist he won't be taking extreme measures in Catalonia as they are not necessary, and the measures to take must be pondered if you want to calm down the tempers
>"Among this violence, we say two things to the Catalan people. We will get over this crisis and peace and quiet in Catalonia will be restored"
>"The state and the rule of law will always apply the legislation to guarantee tranquility, security and peace in Catalonia"
>"I believe that, regardless of the opinion of Mr. Torra about the efforts of the Catalan police in Catalonia, we in the government of Spain remark that what took place the last few days is the extraordinary teamwork between the Spanish and Catalan police"
He also makes some strange comments about how today's protest is legitimate, but in the Spanish law, a general strike can only be done for reasons related to work, not political, which makes this an illegal general strike. The government SHOULD know this
When asked questions by the reporters about whether or not he was planning to take more extreme measures, he answer with:
>"I believe proportionality is very important to claim because without a doubt we have the democratic legitimacy to do so, the law backs us, in fact the laws tells us clearly when these extreme measures can be applied"
>"The law of national security and the application of article 155 of the constitution, if there's enough doctrine and enough, lets say normative to know when it can and cannot be applied"
>"What's important is to also have social legitimacy, that the citizens understand when these extreme measures are applied"
>"I believe we are in a moment where moderation and consideration of the measures contribute to calm the tempers, redirect the events... and as such, that's what we do in the Spanish government"
When asked questions about his opinion on the comments of Catalan president Torra about organizing another illegal referendum:
>"After the sentence, coexistence"
>"I have appealed in both interventions I've had last Monday and Tuesday that it was necessary to open a new phase"
>"Last one has already been left behind after the sentence of the Supreme Court that we know by the sentence itself what are the limits of what the president of Catalonia is proposing regarding the right to self determination"
>"As such, what I believe is that we cannot repeat a path that has filled the Catalan society with frustration and failure, and we must open a new phase in which the government of Spain will always be willing under the premise of respecting the rule of law"
>"Is very important for the secessionists and Torra to understand something I've been reiterating for the longest time, and is that the Catalan society today is fractured and what is evident is that, what the separatist needs to do, or whomever is at the head of the Catalan government, is recognize the other side, that Catalonia is not a single people, Catalonia is a diverse society, a plural society, and you cannot homogenize what is plural and diverse, he must recognize the part of Catalonia that is in fact a majority that doesn't want the independence that doesn't want independence and try to reach an agreement with that other Catalonia"

TL;DR: I AIN'T GONNA DO SHIT

Mr Ministry of interior who was busy eating a hamburger for 2 hours on a bar while their men bleed had this to say:
>"Yesterday we had 16 detained, 8 are already in preemptive prison for the crime of public disorder injuries and attempts against the authority"
>"We had 5 agents wounded, 5 Catalans and 5 Nationals"
>"Once again, and I won't tire of repeating it, the security forces are showing their professionalism and efficiency, they are acting as it corresponds to the forces of a democratic state: with proportionally, necessity and within the parameters of the law, always to guarantee the rights of all the citizens of Catalonia"
>"To all the men and woman that are part of the police, I want give you my backing, support and thanks for the fantastic labor you have carried out these days"
>"The violent events of these days are causing severe abandonment to the citizens, severe damage to the institution, and severe damage to the internatinal reputation of Catalonia as we indicated yesterday"
>"Despite that, and despite the message transmitted by some embassies, Barcelona can be visited without any trouble, as I insist, is just small groups those causing the incidents in a concrete time and place"
TL;DR: We're doing just fine, what the embassies are telling is just an exaggeration
The Catalan government also tells the embassies there's absolutely no problem in Catalonia
We have discovered that this man had ready the whole week 20 anti-riot vehicles that did not mobilize, with 120 agents of the Security Reserve Groups (GRS), and elite police force that he sent while the Catalan and National police were being overflowed in Barcelona

What did the Spokesperson of the Government had to say to the question about the atmosphere of the ministry council regarding these events?
>"The atmosphere is of responsibility and consideration, treatment, diagnose and treatment"
>"Nobody that does a good diagnose must mistake the treatment"
>"The treatment must always into account the proportionality, the exceptionality and responsibility"
>"That is the atmosphere"
>"Regarding the questions you presented, regarding the calculation to put somehow, we don't have a calculation, but yes, we will study it, but yes, we will study it"
>"I want to you know all these subjects that have quoting and stirring up at the table have had their itinerary and their specific treatment"
>"If there's a conflict of positive competition, there's an specific itinerary that is given not just in this case, but in other many cases with other autonomies"
>"If the requirement is negative, then that's when we go to the constitutional tribunal to make it valid, and the constitutional tribunal will say"
This is hard to translate
She also says in the interview one of the important measures the ministry council is taking today is to give 150 million € to the Green Climate Fund
The government also gives today 214 million € to social subsidies

Meanwhile, the head of state, the king of Spain Philip VI is doing a very important labor in the award ceremony of the princess of Asturias awards. In fact, it was very important because one his daughters was going to make her first speech for the first time, it was all very moving.

At the time, in Catalonia, they finally movilized the 20 of bulletproof vans were sent today to the scene, and they have deployed the GRS to the scene
For what happened there, I'll let the videos and pictures do the talking, it was the most violent protest yet

What is quite surprising few reporters have noticed, is the staggering amount of young people, many minors of 15 years, that make up these protests
There has also been videos of not very happy Russians and Ukrainians living in Spain that made comments of warning referencing the revolutions of their countries

There are some indications that Puigdemont is the one behind the Democratic Tsunami movement, as well as the leader of CUP David Fernandez and computer programmers who participate in the referendum of the 1st of October, will post when more there is clear evidence

What the Catalan government is trying to accomplish as they have said so repeatedly is the Slovenian route, with a death in their side they call for the international community mediate and gain independence in that fashion
The french that died the other day doesn't count, he's not Catalan

And to finish all of this will be paid by the Insurance Compensation Consortium, organization financed by the Spanish taxpayer, as if any other option was possible

This is from yesterday, still have yet to start documenting today's events, and there are plenty more videos and photos, this is just to give a general idea of what is going on.
Will keep updating the future developments. This is likely to scalate into a civil war, although it will just be contained to Catalonia this time. Hopefully.

Sorry for the delay, been a bit busy

A heads up, apparently the media and the politicians are concocting the conspiracy theory that the riots were done by a bunch of infiltrated individuals , by either the Spanish state or foreign groups well trained in urban warfare
They put emphasis that the Catalan movement is peaceful, the "revolution of the smiles" as they call it will gain independence through peaceful means
I think the infiltration theory has as much credibility as #russiaGate, but time will time

SATURDAY
The amount of people wounded on Friday was of 182 according to the Emergency Medical System

At around 12:40, Catalan president Torra held a press conference where he makes an appeal to responsibility and puts emphasis on the injustice of the supreme court's sentence against the head politicians for the independence movement
He also requests a meeting without conditions between him and Spanish caretaker president Pedro Sánchez
>"We want to thank the marches and support for the Catalan cause"
>"We demand dialogue and negotiations"
To which the government responds that he first has to condemn the violence and recognize the efforts of the Security forces and stand in solidarity with the wounded officers.
And Torra replies: "This is an improper way to respond to a president of the Catalan government. You should not give me lessons about condemning and fighting violence"
politicians masturbating each other, moving on
The government keeps saying "proportionality, no need for extreme measures" and requesting from Torra to condemn the violence. Is pretty obvious they won't do anything till this escalates into Civil War. And maybe not even then
The Catalan politicians that got sent to prison also post a tweet where they back the declarations of Torra and ask for dialogue to the federal government stating that "dialogue, negotiation and political solution is the way to solve the conflict"

The unified police syndicate requested an urgent meeting with the ministry of interior to get an explanation about the special deployment in Catalonia and the registered incident recorded during the protests, while other syndicates straight up asks for his resignation
>"7 officers had to be attended from severe injuries, as a consequence of the rain of stones and all kinds of blunt objects that organized groups threw at the police forces in multiple points of the city"
>"In the middle of these cases, with the citizenry as hostage in their own homes, the ministry of interior is having an improper attitude of someone who must ensure the security of the National Police and the citizenry"
This is mostly referring to the large supply of riot vans that were not deployed the first 4 days while the police were alone in the streets and he was eating a hamburger in a gay bar for 2 hours. Wondering as well if there's more equipment to send.
On this Saturday, we got 2 police officers are severely injured as a result of the protests:
>"One officer who was stabbed with a knife"
>"Another one who got thrown a rock in his head and remains in the intensive care unit in a very serious condition due to a traumatic brain injury, a fracture at the base of the skull that affects two vertebrae and causes respiratory complications. At night, his situation worsened when he had a flooded lung."

The judges have ordered the closure of the mobile application being used to organize the protests. Again.

For today's protest, several more organizations have joined, such as Rural offers for the republic, Firefighters (guess this explains why they barely tried to put out the fires), Catalan Escort, Open Arms, Union of Manteros among others
The protest itself was less "flashy", since there was less burning and less tiles spread everywhere (maybe because they were running out of containers to burn and pavement to break), but violence was still present, and very significantly so
One thing to note is that there was another protest in Madrid, to which police were dispatched to as well.

There was a ton of looting as well, some from the Catalans, but a large part of it by "Unaccompanied minors" that arrived from their "torn war zones" seeking "refuge" in Spain
I found a video of Catalans trying to stop the "Unaccompanied minors" from looting stores

Ignoring all the lost in business activity and just counting the damage, the estimated cost of the protest (so far) is of 2.5 million €
Saturday alone got 35 trash containers burned in comparison to the 300 burned on Friday, and 1035~ in total

Here are some of the videos

SUNDAY

The day started with a few protest today throwing garbage bags at government buildings and in front of police vans at the chant of "freedom political prisoners" and "amnesty and liberty". The amount of garbage reached over 1 meter

Ex-vice president in prison says "we need to seek alliances beyond the independentism"
Another one in prison says "the secessionist process needs to change, protests are not enough, we need to take more compromises" and request from the secessionism "what are you willing to sacrifice?"

Federal president Sanchez presides the Follow-up Committee for the situation in Catalonia he created few days ago

They had to remove some of the material in the catenary between the stations, but they got some of the trains working again

At 12:00 it took place a gesture of support by the neighbors in Barcelona in the prefecture of the National Police, where the citizens carried flowers and Spanish flags as thanks for their labor in the protests and incidents in Catalonia with slogans such as "Long Live the National Police" or "This is our Police"

People started protesting at 11:30 in front of the courts of Gerona, as well as Catalan police station demanding freedom for political prisoners
Catalan police has detected 85 drones flying over Catalonia without authorization in the last 2 days in sections where is not allowed

There was a protest organized by the weather vane political party C's to claim for "justice and connivance in Catalonia"

Torra finally gives words of sympathy with a wounded member of the police
The condition of the officer in the Intensive Care Unit had slight improved.
ANC demands from the government to put declaration of independence from the 27 of October 2017 into effect
Torra tries to call Spain's president again, but he was in a meeting, or so he was told, and there was no dialogue to be had

Torra tells the prisoners he will free them after the elections in the 10 of November

The most amount of violence for the day was concentrated in front of VOX's metting place, where lots of people were yelling in protest against "right wing extremist" party. When the police that was overseeing it was asked by vox member Javier Ortega, crowd rallied in response.

The day ended with people... singing... out of all things, barely any violence. Totally not an organized movement.

We've had so far 288 police officers wounded and 194 people arrested. Of the police, 153 were Catalan police, and 134 National police, and one was from Urban Guard.

Some non-organized ones

Today is supposed to be the day in which Catalan president Torra and president Sánchez have a meeting with each other, I'll be doing another update for today's events tonight if we even get any info on the behind closed doors meetings.

Overall, I think the intention is probably to gather some international attention and get people to meddle again, implying that the situation has gotten serious after getting a death, but other than riling up Spain, I don't think they're really getting it, and they're gonna have to escalate even more if they want to achieve something.

For once, our internatinal irrelevancy works in our favor!

>that is really interesting
Not really surprising if you consider how was the sentiment for independence spread in Catalonia
In Spain the different provinces, or autonomies as they are referred to legally, have a large amount of independence from the main government, similar to a federal state, but not every autonomy is equal, some provinces have more privileges than others.
For example, education is all over the place, and you get a different standard depending on which province you study, and in some provinces you can get an entirely different content in subjects (history) that has nothing to do with one another
This means that you can be learning something in one province, and people in another being taught something completely opposite. This is specially bad in certain provinces like Catalonia, where they are taught they were a nation unfairly punished by the Spanish kingdom through its history, and how things happened that another province's education system never even mentions, or how certain historical events had some different meaning behind it.
They also have a special media section in there, and since is government controlled, it always takes the side of the pro-independence.
Combine decades of being told you're being oppressed in schools with the media that repeats the same and modern parenthood and you can see how a generation is shaped.
>What is also interesting is the our media doesn't seem to give two shits about this
I found this yesterday
https://www.dw.com/en/spain-rejects-talks-with-catalan-separatists-after-days-of-unrest/a-50902611
I believe dw is a German domain
Although I can't blame you, the Catalan movement has died down after the first push 2 years ago, and nobody seem to care anymore, except some people that give support to it like Salvini and some people in the British parliament, I haven't heard comments from people outside Spain

>How about you? Are you pro or con to indepedence and why?
In concept, I'm against it, for various reasons
1. If you ever want to leave the European Union, balkanizing your country into a bunch of smaller irrelevant states that cannot properly self sustain or defend is not the way to go
2. Catalonia is a large portion of our connection with Europe, Catalonia leaving will make Spain weaker
3. Who will vote for said independence? Everyone in Spain or just the people leaving in Catalonia? Does the immigrant who just arrived there has more right to vote than the old who have been contributing taxes, many of which went to Catalonia to finance its infrastructure?
4. People residing in a chunk of land have the right to become its own nation if they feel like it. This statement is a time bomb considering the shift in demographics in the different countries of Europe. Does your majority Muslim province has the right to become its own country because it does not feel German?

And to why I'm also against it in the way it has been carried out
1. As I said, is based on a false premise, that Spain has been oppressing Catalonia for centuries, even today, when in reality Catalonia has an horrid debt that requires the rest of the country to finance it properly, Mostly due to the finance of multiple pro-independent and propaganda movements. All the propaganda, international embassies and agencies that defames Spain, bribing to foreign figures (I know for a fact they gave money to Julian Assange because the police found the bill), organizing referendums, and more, while the elderly in Catalonia dies quite commonly because they do not receive the money they should get due to the dependence law for people that cannot live by themselves. Also their politicians are overpaid, even more so than Spanish ones.
2. The "popular mandate" that they keep coming back over and over was a sham referendum, with no guarantees, where ballots boxes were taken by the police, others were filled with votes before the voting even started, there was no census and people voted multiple times, and there was the thread of violence from the police. Too many irregularities to even consider this as valid.
3. To increase their votes to support independence, they have taken roughly half the Muslim immigrant population, making them a large portion of Catalonia's population. They specifically requested Muslims because they're more willing to learn Catalan, since the other type we get, south Americans, already know Spanish, and everyone in the country knows Spanish. It'll be like going to the UK from the US and learning Irish, which is nice, but unless you actually like the language, there's no reason for you to learn it, since everyone in the UK speaks English just like you.

Basically, even if there was any sort of reason as of which balkanization is a positive, because I can't find none, the current independence movement is being carried out by low tier nobody politicians and a large amount of useful idiots that will amount to nothing more than damaging Spain, destroying Catalonia and filling Europe with more Muslims

A special gift of an event that did indeed take place during the protest, and was captured in video for all our eyes to see
It is truly something that will remain in my memories for years to come, for better or worse

Exhumation of Franco starting at the Valley preparations.mp4
And before I forget

FRANCO'S EDITORIAL

Franco will finally be exhumed on Thursday 24 at 10:30 am, 1 day before the deadline given to the government of 25 of October expires and almost 44 years after his death
The plan was to complete the process on the day 21/22, but it was delayed due to "the complex process of the operation"
Funny because they don't actually have a permit nor a work project

The Valley was closed on the 11th at 18:00, with people protesting the next day at the basilica
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7idgHDhI9aA
The main piece of work is to remove the 1500kg slab, and when you think the people doing this do not have a work permit, I fear for the worse
There won't be any military honors for his remains, nor will the coffin be covered in any sort of symbol, such as the Spanish flag as per the law of Military honors dictates for all the heads of state due to the Law of Historic memory that prohibits any sort of exaltation of Franco
All requests of the family were denied
The remains will be carried to the graveyard of Mingorrubio, west of the capital in the district of El Prado
The mortal remains will be moved on helicopter
There's a small crypt where the family will be allowed to carry a "brief and intimate" ceremony"
Other than that, only the notary, a few government officials and the ecclesiastic authority can attend.
The ceremony will be officiated by Ramon Tejero, out of all people
The National Foundation for Francisco Franco made a summon to Mingorrubio to all the people of Spain, at exactly 24th 10:30 hours to pray for the figure of the general

The family has been through hell and back in the judicial court, the supreme court removed the precautionary suspension, the constitutional court rejected their appeal, and the European Court of Human Rights of Strasbourg opposed last week to a cautionary stop requested by the Francisco Franco foundation, and the Judge from Madrid, José Yusty had to archive the cause because the surpreme court ruled the government doesn't need a license.

Our caretaker president declared on the UN that this closes the darkest chapter in the most recent history of Spain
He claims his executive will carry out the pending task of 40 years of democracy none of his predecessors dared to execute. Him remaining there was an offense to his victims since he wasn't a fallen of the Civil War nor the dictatorship, unlike José Antonio Primo de Rivera, that according to the intentions of the government he should also be relocated to a place less preeminent of the basilica.

Surely but slowly the ruling power changes even history for it's own liking. They use little cute laws etc to slowly chip things away, but rarely go outright for the kill. I guess they have waited for the older generation to die off / become too old to care to carry on with this.

MONDAY
THE TURNING POINT

Today the protests have taken an interesting turn, and when I say turn I mean 180º turn

Yesterday and today, there's something new going on in the Catalan world, the violence is dying down, there are less fires, less protests, less looting, less destruction, less violence.
Instead, we have now the trash bag method, where you put a photo of politicians you hate with duck tape onto a trash bag, fill it with more photos of things you hate, and you throw it at public monuments, officials, or things that you think are generally trash. And then you gather around it and sing.
What in the world

Guess the theory that the protests were organized is now confirmed, seeing as the Catalan movement is suddently returning to what it always was... for now.

Here are the news for today

We got a few words from some of the visitors to the politicians in prison, and they tell us that the immates were joyful after the sentence they received. No wonder since it was so weak it was pretty much a joke.

The Police of the GRS talks about their frustation in a video:
>"We saw companions wounded, with hands and arms broken, falling unconcious on the ground, we were 1000 dudes 300 meters away and we were not allowed to act"
There are also audioclips where they note they are being thrown iron balls, washing machines, ovens, axes, pickaxes, screwdrivers, shovels, helium cilinders, rolling bearing, and even use chainsaws
But hey, today President Sanches is visiting the injured police to take some photos with them to look good for the elections, so all GRS were mobilized just for this very special and moving moment
As he arrived, pro-independence staff at the hospital began chanting "freedom policial prisoners" to the president. I fear for the police's live now more than ever.
The town hall of Barcelona has given 9700€ to the Center Iridia that is legally defending the violent protesters against the actions of the police with the purpose of
>"Give psychosocial and juridical support to the people wounded or harmed by police charges or stress or anxiety linked to the tense situations in the framework of the excersive of the right to protest"

In the electoral side, there's trouble with campaign financing since even banks are starting to doubt buying these politicians is a good investment and this point, and are refusing to use their money to bribe politicians
Fear not, the socialist party is offering a solution. Those who help him pay for his electoral campaign will not only get their money back, but they'll get it with an annual interest of 2.5%, which more than what any bank is offering right now. Don't you love wise use of tax money?

Gonzalo Boye, lawyer of Carles Puigdemont has discovered his office had been searched, and he has been cited to declare the day 29th of this month for a crime of money laundering

Tearjerking video interviewing the protesters with sad music, half of them with their face covered, about how this "is not violence, is self defense"
https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1186294073247911936

The protest today were based around cutting streets, throwing trash bags, singing and throwing ballons filled with paint, enjoy the exciting videos of this severe and hardcore violence

>The spanish government really likes to fuck up, don't they?
I do not for a second believe this is not intentional
There's absolutely no way they're failing to properly deal with this revolution when everyone is telling them how they have to do it
In fact, just listen to this fragment of an interview
https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1185976483564740611
>"Have you been able to talk with Pedro Sánchez?"
>"Yes"
>"Is he worried?"
>"Yeah, he's worried because he think this can turn around the elections"

He's absolutely not concerned in the slightest about the country nor is he thinking about doing anything to fix it. He's just thinking about his relection and the government coalition he's going to make with the separatist and taking photos with the wounded officers while throwing the rest into the lion's den. Not even using the law that allows the Federal police to take over control of the regional police. So are all the members of his government like the ministry of Interior that allowed the police to get treated like terrorist, the people that come to speak in the media that says the violence of the police is the worse of both because they are more heavily armed, and the king who's busy doing the 2019 edition Spanish version of Nobel prizes he created as his pet project when he got crowned.
For reference, operation Judas I talked about a few post above was carried out in secret from the Ministry of Interior most likely because they knew the Ministry will betray them and will snitch to the terrorist that were cooking the bomb, that's where the Judas comes from
Meanwhile, the president of the Catalan government is pretty much encouraging the violence, while the media is downplaying the issue and starting to focus about other things, such as the exhumation of Franco to boost his electoral chances while a Civil War is brewing right nearby
We've had one death of a french man because the emergency services didn't reach in time, police in critial condition that might not make it, there are videos of people running asking for help in the middle of the chaos, pregnant women about to give birth yelling for people to stop blocking the streets so she can arrive to the hospital.
These people are dragging us to a civil war, and our most pointless one yet.
This could be fixed in less than a week, you don't even need a Franco, all it'll take is someone with the bare minimun of political will to want to achieve something. But alas, it won't happen, and it'll escalate beyong anybody's control, as usual.

And you know the best part? The Catalan politicians are jailed in the Catalan prisons, which are under the Catalan jurisdiction, and the Supreme Court did not put any limit on when they can be given the third degree
What does that mean? It means THEY CAN FREE THE POLITICAL PRISONERS. The whole movement is about protesting against an unfair sentence and how they are punished for having independence, but they can, at any point, no limit whatsoever, release the politicians from prison with having them required to be in jail 8 hours a day. aka, go there to sleep.
Fcking useful idiots and retards everywhere, they have burned their own homes, business, destroyed their infrastructure and even killed people for something the guy that was riling them all up, the Catalan president Torra was able to do at ANY POINT (and has said he will do after the elections, because HE KNOWS he release them it whenever he please)

There's no saving these people, this is beyond NPC levels of retarded, which is why anybody with half a braincell from other countries do, just let them burn Catalonia until they start to starve, and let their survival instinct kick in and try to reignate their single malnutritioned braincell so that maybe one day far far away they can become somewhat productive members of society.

Will be doing another update today, but just wanted to leave the livestream for Franco's Exhumation while the event is taking place
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oaJXyQoM_8

Of course, the president forbid any kind of protest or marches during the event, because this is an event that needs it, unlike the Catalan protests where "it was their right to protest"

Why exactly was Franco's family opposed to the burial location?
