I have one day to pick a video to show my local Christian church. It has around 20-30 members aged around 14-40 with a few 50s. I'm bringing the laptop with any video of my choice up to 2 hours in length.
Only rules? It can't be anything copyrighted so no Disney films.

If you have a choice between videos to show a normie always pick the one that is more moderate, indirect and subtle. Assume there's always going to be at least one soccer-mom type who'll get triggered at something that pushes the boundaries. Generally speaking though, if you can pick out and understand subtle cues then you know what may set people off, so have those be as inoffensive as possible.

The naïve "I can't say anything for sure but I'm willing to learn alongside you" approach works surprisingly well. However, Brits seem to be less fanatic about loving Israel and diversity is a bigger issue, so I don't think it's entirely relevant.

We are basically the only ones that worry about being morally correct all the time so minor things like this aren't really that big of a deal.
The way I see it is that we have an ideal to strive for and when we fail we apologize and move on.

Liking Ben 10 as a protagonist doesn't make me morally superior to someone who thinks Kevin 11 would be a more interesting protagonist. Disliking Glimmer doesn't make me morally inferior to someone who loves Glimmer and hates that child the show killed off in the finale. Glimmer is just one badly-written fictional character shoehorned in to try and inject freshness into a show that's only stale now because the new writers jumped all the sharks they could and reduced everyone to their catchphrases. You can't inject freshness into a show by adding a character if all writers have to write everyone's reaction to this new character as the same thing! If every pony HAS to have the exact same positive view on Glimmer and her redemption, nobody's allowed to call Glimmer out on her bullshit, Glimmer HAS to be able to magically overpower EVERYONE INCLUDING DISCORD and nobody's allowed to take issue with that, and everyone has to be retarded to make Glimmer look better... then you've wasted the interesting story that could be told here.
The show isn't written to sell me on Equestria the world any more. Or to sell me on the Mane Six or other side characters that fit into the world. It's a mess trying to shill a ton of "Fan favourite" OCs. I liked Maud in her first episode because she was funny, but after that it's like seeing Pickle Rick again times two.
And the babyish fans, the ones who giggle and squeal with joy every time the show puts in a "Fuck you, critics" scene or episode or references Rick and Morty/Zelda/some other media they like, then insist that all fans are evil nazi hatercritics who don't understand the subtle genius behind Pickle Rick and logic doesn't matter because "The show" (its new fuckup writers) take their anti-quality stance... They're a bit annoying, I guess, especially since they only like the show now that it panders specifically to them while alienating everyone else.

She wrote a balanced cast of protags who could be heroes in one episode and cunts in another without anyone needing to act OOC. She made people care about characters, and used that to make people care about dumb kiddy shit like "Oh no dragon smoke will cover ponyland's sky" and "the night might last forever" and "Oh no the wind might stop in ponyland if these Breezies die". It's why friends going to a gala that turns out shit feels so sad, you wanted these characters to have a good time.
The writing that made this show special is gone, and it feels like the fandom... either it's stopped being what it used to be, or it never was what it presented itself to be and the people that stuck around in the fandom and made its babydrama tolerable won't be caught dead on a pony site again.
I've gone on pony sites and marvelled at how people I unironically don't remember ever meeting have carried grudges against me, often for four or five years. I honestly have more reason to hate Chloe from FIM (Loved Fairly Odd Parents as a kid) and Toxapex from Pokemon (min-maxed god pokemon who exists to make the meta's stall problem worse) and the direction Sonic has taken since it stopped trying to do 3d right.
But everyone already gets why Chloe sucks, PokeShowdown stall is cancer, Sonic Utopia is a better Sonic game than Forces, and DmC is shit.
