Because of there being such conflicting information out there of what will and won't poison/kill you in regards to what you eat, I figured why not make a big thread discussing this so that we can know which substances are primarily beneficial, which are primarily harmful, and which don't make too much of a difference either way. And, there really needs to be a topic on this because, for example:
>Soy
Firsts, it's going to sterilize you and turn you into a woman: https://archive.fo/k8yja
Then, it isn't: https://archive.fo/0voxS
Then, soy is considered “healthy” if you ferment it or fry the crap out of it: https://archive.fo/mDoEP
Or, that soy is completely safe and it's the “greedy meat industry” who are spreading around the bad press: https://archive.fo/dUd3V
>MSG
You had articles coming out over a decade ago, that caused a big scare, about how MSG was going to kill you: https://archive.fo/eL687
Then, it comes into question why the Asians are not all dead: https://archive.fo/AqNE6
Then, it comes out that it was always “safe” for decades and the only reason it was hated was due to “racism”: https://archive.fo/Vvs8s
>Aspartame
First it's going to kill you: https://archive.ph/HMCII
Then it isn't: https://archive.ph/xxwIK
Then the entire source of the scare was a “Le Epic Troll of an old meme”: https://archive.ph/24eNo
You get the picture. So, what actions CAN we take to live long and healthy lives in regards to our food diets?
