I think everyone should try himself at an art, a craft, a science and a sport.
>>239521those things all the funding is cut from...
>>239524Money is just means to an end.
A craft allows you to be handy in your own life and be useful to others, science will expand your understanding, sport will keep you fit and have some social connections and grounding and art... well it is a strange thing but I strongly believe it is worth pursuing even just for amusing people.
>>239527Art can also be used for propaganda purposes. Especially if it's apolitical in this climate. That can build a relationship between the artist, and the audience.
By attaching a group to excellent works it tends to send the message that group x can make great things, and supports them too.
>>239526>SpoilerWoohoo! That's quality right there.
>>239524Very true fren. A craft can help pay the bills sometimes.
Really depends on your personal situation.
Speaking of cost.
Liver tends to be very cheap, a good addition for some flavors, and it is high in vitamins, and minerals.
A stuffing is very common for it, and so is dirty rice.
I recommend it flour coated (with salt and pepper, and onion powder doesn't hurt either), and pan fried with
lots of onions.
>>239505I tried that baked onion thing, it's pretty damn good. Here's a slightly fancier version of the same thing:

I am gonna try these onions.
>>239520Apply first chart to gaming.
>>239736Nice! And thank (You) for that recipe.
>>240091>Cooking and cleaning takes so much time out of the day. That's true, and it's worth every second.

The graph doesn't quite take into consideration the full psychological side, but it is a simplified three step choice tree.
(Technically, it's a one step graph of 'Will This Improve myself, others around me, and my effect on the world.')
Inside the game it still sorta works. Become the best (meta-level of skill), Gain power and knowledge, improve my allies.
>>239505>Cooking.>>>/ub/88 →Ah ha! There is a cooking thread.
Plumbing, welding, and electrical work. Toss in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and electronics if you want the technical side.
Botany, and medicine for the biological. There's a good number of medical textbooks in used book stores covering everything from surgery to first aid that you can pick up on the cheap if you want something physical instead of downloading from the net.
Anything homesteading if you're going innawoods and building a home.
>>240202>Gaming is the way of the budda. No way anon. For every single person who has reached enlightenment through call-of-duty, I'll show yous millions of worthless basement dwellers.
And it's complete subversion to apply it to your character in-game. Turn it off and go lift.
>>241160When I was younger I'd do some pushups every time I beat a trainer in Pokemon.
Then I'd get tired and continue playing Pokemon, eventually forgetting about the exercise.
