I like Buckball. I like that it's a game I can see all 3 ponies playing, using their unique abilities to have fun together. It isn't just "British football but with ponies also magic or wings is cheating but superior earth pony physiology isnt".

In buckball, Unicorns are just holding stuff. Flying Pegasi could do that. Earth Ponies with buckets on poles on saddles on their backs could do that, but not as well.
It'd be cooler if once per game, Unicorns were allowed to toss their buckets into the air, cast some spell to help their team, then catch their buckets.
