This as many other technicalities are used as a crack to demolish the constitution. Not long ago any American could possess any hardware used by the military, but not today because the unrelenting erosion of liberties. Because of this, the American people is heavily outgunned against modern threats to their sovereign rights.

For instance, the standard to be committed to a mental health hospital is that a court must find that you are either
1. A danger to self
2. A danger to others
And
3. Will continue to deteriorate unless helped.

Make a strict definition of what means you cannot buy a gun, and follow that. But don't pretend like every person with severe paranoid schizophrenia is the same as any normal, law abiding gun-owning citizen.

Well well well, color me surprised.

This however is a major threat and should be seen as one. The only thing that comes to mind is some "Minority Report" bullshit where they think that they are preemptively stopping something but what it will actually allow to happen is this.
