Like, I feel they should be more distinguishable.
Maybe give Fireaxe firefighter uniform or actual fireaxe to carry or put Syriana/Aryanne into their respective clothes? Or maybe give Epona link's sword? Or give Zigger/Zala some zulu tier shield and spear, maybe have Leslie carry some recreational McNukes under her arms, give DixieJack musket and make her run like she's charging or something?
Just something to make them stand out, to make them still funny.

We will without a doubt try to get more details in to make the ponies look more unique. Personally I like a somewhat uniform look since it looks like something professional rather then chaotic and all over the place. But I'd be interested to hear what other people think and to what degree we should balance these two factors out at.

Animations will not use hands like they have in the past will be the main thing if poners are used. There are a lot of animations though that don't need them and still do interesting things. But yes its something to consider when voting in the poll.

On a second note, the creator of Fireaxe attempted to retcon her away from fascism (after not having posted here in over a year as well) to cuck to DB SJWs. Fuck, this is a hard choice. Our roster feels almost perfect, but there's so many good memes and board OCs that deserve to be put in.

I'd vote for replacing Doom Faust with Mitsuko. She's an absolute qt who deserves so much more love than she's received so far, and there isn't enough good-quality Nippon in both the team and the cup in general.

As for general aesthetics, since we won last cup, I'd like to suggest dressing our players up like Winged Hussars. Just something to commemorate our first star and cup victory with while we play.

You make sense. I wouldn't want the team just flooded with "That's Jerry, he's a user here" and "That's Kevin's OC Flare Blitz, she's the OC of a guy who's also a user here" characters. The team should have characters that represent board memes and memorable, iconic things about the board.
I'm not sure if my infamous hatred for Glimmer and the multi-year shitshow kicked up over it really qualifies as an infamous board thing or not. I give permission for Silver Star Apple to be in the team, but I'll respect the board's decision if it says no and goes for something funnier/more recognizable and iconic instead.

Its been a while since this was discussed (about a year or so) so its worth going over why this is the case. This is an image board so tripfagging and namefagging is looked down upon to begin with (only reason to do so is in long term projects or celebrity verification, ect) but to showcase our board culture as one in which /mlpol/ likes the ideas of circle jerking or tripfaging is not ideal. Similarly it also pits anons against each other in a popularity contest to see which one can get onto the roster. That is why Vril was not on the roster poll in /pol/eague 2 along with Nige not being added. That said glimmer is on the team as WOW! COMMUNISM, which I have a feeling was due a bit because of the fiasco, so its not as if its impossible to add players that represent these board events that just so happen to ignore the individuals that participated in them.

Just some food for thought. On another note a lot of players have been suggested. If you like the player second it as well saying you like the idea. I'll only add players to the roster poll in which have been seconded.
