To be fair I don't think that raising some other guy's daughter would bother me as much as raising some other guy's son. Your sons are your legacy, they carry on your name after you're gone. If you raise someone else's son instead of your own you're basically a caretaker of another man's legacy instead of the founder of your own. Dying childless is better than raising another guy's son.

With daughters the objective is just to get them married to good men so they can produce good children. The way I see it, while raising a fatherless boy pretty much makes you a beta cuck, raising a fatherless girl is an act of public service. She'll probably just grow up to be another degenerate thot if left alone, so you have the opportunity to put her on the right path. Worst case scenario, she rejects your upbringing and becomes a degenerate thot anyway, so you just cut her off. You're out the time and money you spent on her of course, but like I said I think it can basically be counted as an act of public service.

Ordinarily I would agree with you, and the general concept of raising another person's son. Having said, there are exceptions to the idea. Imagine a son who's father has completely abandoned the son (also his daughters), his wife, and decided to midlife-crisis himself into a life of drunken degeneracy.
Said boy has no father figure, and no adequate role model.
In such cases, its not about raising another "man's" son, its simply about raising a man.

This episode is pulling the narrative that a female who either fucked around and had a kid with a father that's estranged or refuse to take responsibility should receive sympathy and the support of a guy because of 'love' or having a moral character. Of course, since this is a kids' show, they can't delve into the implications of a female who lived her live riding dick but anyone who've read into this degenerate behavior knows a female who've fucked around a lot will have issues with bonding and finding a healthy and functional male to have children with.

The scriptwriter is also trying to instill into girls that there is no shame in fucking around and then expecting someone else to sure up for your fuck up; to boys and men it tries to normalize sacrificing time and resources on someone else's genetic legacy.

If she's a widow then I'm fine with this moral. Shit happens and there's nothing you can do to change it. Move on and try to build a better future is the only option you got in that case.
