>Bookhorse failed to do something book related
>>219328I dunno, I can totally picture Twilight forgetting to
return a book or 9
>>219329She became a librarian for a reason.
>>219320Are they trying to make lightning strike twice when it comes to that Moondancer episode?
Yeah, you are right I also thought the premise sounded familiar.
But honestly, I kinda like that they try to do something more mundane with this character now since I think these new writers suck at worldbuilding, for the most part with the excpetion of the kirins. I don't like the fact that the elements of harmony has gone from being this supernatural almost like religion of the ponies to being just one of Star Swirl's spells. It is just like the midiclorians in Star Wars.
>>219438But the Moondancer episode was boring and cringeworthy. They turned what should have been a fun-loving elegant and mischevious beautiful character into a complete uncultured fashionless and bitterly rude idiot.
Moondancer was suppose to be rude in a cute and elegant way, not to mention intelligent.
Moondancer was just another Zephyr, Maud Pie, Mud Briar, Glimmer, Shimmer, dumb angry dork #45 "character"
>>222675You totally missed the point of that episode then. Moondancer was essentially what Twilight would have become if she hadn't had Princess Celestia, her library, and eventually her friends in Ponyville. The episode was also a nod to some of the concept designs of Twilight's character, including reference to the name (Twilight Twinkle) and Moondancer's cutie mark was originally for Twilight.
Contrary to the Moondancer episode, Twilight discovered that her laziness about returning the book was a blessing in disguise to the librarian.
You did watch the episode didn't you?
