Day 1 starts in about 1 and a half hours. Schedule in EST:
/vg/ v. /vp/ 12:00 pm /bant/ v. /biz/ 12:40 /sci/ v. /g/ 13:20 /h/ v. /f/ 14:00 /int/ v. /w/ 14:40 /d/ v. /co/ 15:20 /tg/ v. /pol/ 16:00 /m/ v. /3/ 16:40
>>205171 I mean it's possible but there's still a long way to go. It especially depends on the RO16 draws. But /pol/ and /mlp/ already having 3 points is an excellent start.
>>205185 That would be the best outcome. If anyone goes second then it would depend on the RO16 draw. But since both teams performed really well I have high hopes they could do it.
>>205368 >replace every actual gaming general with shitty mobage if I could I'd contract sicarios to hunt every fucking janny and mod they must be so buttblasted that their god hiro can't make money from it
>>205369 >they must be so buttblasted that their god hiro can't make money from it Is this evening a realistic motive at this point? There's plenty of shit on the board that doesn't make money. It feels as though they're maliciously trying to suppress content production.
Well next weak will basically be a knockout match for /pol/. The only other way if for both Group D games to end in a draw. As for /mlp/ it's still a bit too early to tell but with the victory against /sp/ secured the biggest hurdle is past them I would say.
Today's lineup. First game is about to start. /gd/ v. /r9k/ /mu/ v. /ck/ /jp/ v. /n/ /wg/ v. /u/ /k/ v. /b/ /his/ v. /tv/ /sp/ v. /vr/ /mlp/ v. [s4s]
There are some really good matches today with /mlp/ v. [s4s] being the obvious highlight. And depending on how today's two last matches go /mlp/ might even get confirmed for the Ro16.
>>206563 It was. But on sunday, [s4s] needs to beat /sp/ because nice > bully. There's a not-quite tradition where 4cc winners are fucked off to the babbies, so it wouldn't be inappropriate if /vr/ found their way there. Technically [s4s] doesn't have to win, but they just have to lose by less enough points, to be determine by /mlp/ vs. /vr/. If anyone deserves to go on to the 16, its [s4s] cuz they've always been friends. Meanwhile tomorrow, /pol/ has stiff competition for 1st or 2nd place in their bracket. Its anyone's game in the group tomorrow, and a /mlpol/ final is still possible.
>>206860 [s4s] has a good chance to qualify even off a draw, but they need a win to clinch it. If /mlp/ loses they have to win, and if /mlp/ wins/draws then they only need to draw.
>>206933 If that's the case, there couldn't be a worse lineup. Assuming no one gets jewed by stats or anything, I'm seeing an /mlp/ /u/ rematch in the semis, and an /mlpol/ final.
From what I've heared I missed a lot of crazy shit like Boris' house bruning down. Couldn't watch the matches live since I had to wagecuck the entire weekend but I'm glad both /pol/ and /mlp/ topped their group.
>>206985 Now these are some extremely spicy Ro16 draws with a lot of fun possibilities for future matches. >/bol/ and /mlpint/ on the first day >possible Bogdabowl II with /biz/ and /mlp/-/u/ rematch for the semifinals >/mlpol/ final with either a third star for /mlp/ or a first elite cup win for /pol/
The round of 16 starts in about 6 hours with this lineup >>206961 /biz/ has the first match GO PLUS! at 9a/12p East /pol/ vs. /b/ at 11a/2p East and /mlp/ vs. /int/ at 1:40p/4:40 East
>>208164 Hard to pick. I'd really like /pol/ to finally get a star but on the other hand /mlp/ being the first to get three stars and crashing /4ccg/ would be glorious.
Overall it would be a win-win for me but it feels like pic related
>>208164 Ooooh, tough call. If it comes down to an /mlpol/ final though, I'm rooting for /mlp/. I'd rather /mlp/ get 3 stars before G5, since its unknown what will happen in and around /mlp/ in the aftermath.
Thanks, one thing that is amazing about /mlpol/ but nearly not as fun about /biz/ is that I have lads to help me out and give me an alternative perspective on matters. That showed really hard in this game. Hopefully /pol/ doesn't have the same problem.
>>208489 Fuck the refs, and fuck PES16. Jesus fucking christ they turned a blind eye to so much shit the whole goddamn cup. "Oh what? Someone just got brutally murdered? I was looking right at them? Weird, I didn't see anything"
>>208492 The refs sure turned a blind eye to a lot of murder, but God forbid anyone was anywhere near an offside. I hope they switch away from PES16 to get better judges, although it is fun with goalfests too.
>>208494 >some Fuck off, it was all day every day murder. Defenders got a free pass for pretty much anything they did. There was probably 1 card for every 20 that should have been issued.
>>208494 >>208496 Sorry anon, I was salty AF. That was uncalled for. I wanted us to get 3 stars before G5, and I suppose there's still summer. But I was also saddened by how /pol/ was so quick to shit on /mlp/ and /mlp/ was so quick to shit on /pol/ and both (not entirely) were so quick to shit on Mlpol.
>>208520 Yeah, it kinda sucks how parts of both parent boards have become this cancerous but look at it positively. Both /pol/ and /mlp/ got extremely far and overall it was a fun cup. And there will be another shot at /mlpol/ this summer.
Seriously at this point I think "together forever" is more than just a meme, especially since /mlp/ and /pol/ have shared the same cups since autumn 2017.
>>208562 >And there will be another shot at /mlpol/ this summer. I hope they change the logo to reflect that we're the host board for the /pol/eague 4.
>>208659 Look at it this way: at least we get plenty of time to decide on our roster, our aesthetics, and our tictacs.
Personally, out of all of the many potential choices, I want to see Mitsuko make it on the team. She doesn't get nearly enough love. It'd also be nice to get some more detailed descriptions for our roster on the wiki.
So a few announcements since people here are talking about the /pol/eague. For starters its going to be after the baby, since it'll mean we aren't the guinea pig for aesthetic changes on 18. So hopefully by the time it happens most of the big issues with 18 will be fixed and everything that currently is lacking in 18 (custom refs, good shaders, poly limits) will be figured out on the engine PES 18 uses. Currently we don't have custom refs, Custom stadiums were just figured out on how to import, and shaders look hideous. Waiting will be worth while, believe me. We will be able to add in all the stadiums for 18 (so /pol/ in the high castle to the /mlpol/ stadium), and most of the teams should have their aesthetics imported by then. Also having /mlpol/ custom refs will make the ordeal worth while since it'll be a friendly reminder to everyone that /mlpol/ won /pol/eague 3 and we will win /pol/eague 4 ^:).
Now if you dislike that we aren't having divegrass for around 3-5months then I could organize a comfy cup for /mlpol/ if there is enough interest, but it won't be as tense as the /pol/eague so take that as you will. Lastly consider what you want on the team for roster changes. I will likely begin polling during the spring cup. So consider what changes you'd like to see on the roster. Also if you want to help with the team add me on discord and I'll add you to the team, since we will soon need help with aesthetics and >testing. plus#0862
>>208567 I'm going to shill for this. >>208674 >It'd also be nice to get some more detailed descriptions for our roster on the wiki. I'm not very creative but I'll make an attempt. If anyone is good at writingfagging and wants something to be on the wiki feel free to write it out and I'll add it.
>>208676 Got a quick one for Aryanne. Fairly basic, I suppose, but it gets the point across.
The proud representative of National Socialism for /mlpol/, Aryanne is a pure, proud Aryan pony, a military officer from the Maremacht of Germaney and an active politician in her country, with no love for the (((griffons))) or their lies and a fondness of putting degenerates where they belong: in the chambers. As Captain, her tactical genius and relentless blitzkrieg assault has led the team and the board to many victories, and under her leadership we expect to have many more.
How long until your board is annexed by Aryanne and the combined forces of /mlpol/?
>>208696 That's really good anon. May I suggest the following mild adjustments? [...] for /mlpol/, Aryanne is a pure, proud Aryan pony serving as a military officer of the Maremacht of Germaney and is an active politician in her country. She holds no love [...]
>>208676 >Currently we don't have custom refs I hope this gets solved before the Spring Babbies since it'd be nice to see some /pol/ themed refs like the bogs or jews.
>>208702 Mlpol is the host board cuz winning the last cup, so technically speaking we can make them whatever theme we want. I think we can even use /pol/ and /mlp/ refs if we want. >inb4 >rape is a ref
>>208703 For the /pol/eague, yeah but I was talking about the Spring babbies which will happen before that. Regular /pol/ will be hosting that since they won the last autumn babby cup and it would be a shame if we didn't get some fun ref models for it.
>>208907 I guess it would depend on how many people would participate in a cup thread without /mlp/ and /pol/. You could make a thread shortly before it starts and if noone shows any real interest just let it die.
>>208676 Needs work I feel, but I made this for Clopped:
On April 3rd, 2010 + 7, the nor/mlpol/ice, distraught about the loss of their new home at 4/mlpol/, moved to /qa/ in the hope that they could get the attention of the mods and have their home restored. But the /jp/sies who had turned /qa/ into their own "sekrit club" lashed out at these poor lost souls that they viewed as "invaders". Thus began the /mlpolqa/ War, and for a whole week the valiant nor/mlpol/ice forces held the board under their control. /qa/ was changed forever, for they had become Clopped to the superiority of horsepussy, Football, and /mlpol/. To this day, we honor our victory in the war with regular raids on /qa/, to remind them exactly of their place.
>>209861 Suggested edit: Dateline April 3rd, 2010 + 7 The nor/mlpol/ice, distraught about the loss of their new home at 4/mlpol/, migrate to /qa/ in the hopes that their pleas to the mods could have their home restored. Unknown at that time, /jp/sies had turned /qa/ into their own "sekrit club" and lashed out at these poor lost souls who they viewed as "invaders". Thus began the /mlpolqa/ War, and for a whole week the valiant nor/mlpol/ice forces held the board under their control to such a degree that mods had no choice but to lock the board. While the mods proved to indeed be fags, /qa/ was changed forever, for they had become Clopped to the superiority of horsepussy, Football, and /mlpol/. To this day we honor our victory in the war with regular raids on /qa/, and Clopped stands as testament to that, to remind them exactly of their place.
