They will probably believe Muller, or not say anything at all, most likely the latter as it is the easiest way out.
The news media will not ask them questions about it so they don't have to air their opinion, or make a decision.
The women that Mueller raped will probably not be allowed to attend any "women marches" so no one will hear their story.
Basically the story will be buried. The only news that will come out is the initial accusation from Mueller that he is being framed by right-wing extremists.

My bet is that they'll take the "don't talk about it at all" approach.
