No. We waited years for an unfinished and less balanced version of a game other fans already completed and added to.
I'm not saying those games with "Nightmare applejack" and the like are better than this, but... They have more characters and content.
It would be cool if the game had a complete story mode for us to sink our teeth into, but the game is unfinished, and it won't be finished until a few months after everyone stops giving a shit.
I'll stick with JoJo's Fightcade.
Not yet. I still have some hope that they'll finish it one day, but the way things have gone so far it's a fucking trainwreck.
Am I some non-political genre of consumer-cuck for liking this game and paying 15 United States of America Dollars for it?
I know it is currently singleplayer standard versus-the-computer mode and multiplayer only, but 15 bucks doesn't seem like much even for a game with only six characters. It's just 15 bucks. It has enough value considering how cute and well-animated the characters are and how well the music is.
I don't even have a lot of disposable income (about $259 a week and I pay upper $780s in utilities per month) and this is worthwhile if you can find a human to play it with.
Velvet is my main and favorite character.
I hardly play video games because I don't have a lot of money for them. So I don't have some huge Steam backlog. I also think that video games can be just as much of useless toxic escapism as getting into the newest hip trending NetflixTM Original Series (I have a sister who shared her password with me four years ago and yet it remains mostly unused by me)
At least with the occasional multiplayer vidya I end up socializing with some people.
You know how the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure has a bunch of weird characters? Sure, you expect to see your rushdown punch guy, your longrange zoner and trap guy, and your sword guy, but then you see the age guy, the magnet girl, the sand dog and ice bird, the time-stopping vampire, and it gets weird.
What do you do in this game? Zone your opponent or go in and do the same long combos every time. Nobody has any gimmicks.
BorisG of the 4cc plays it before every cup round
>>181437Maybe? If my toaster was mor up-to-date, and it was easy for me to buy dollars, I would have bought that.
The anons in the /tfh/ general look like they are having fun.
I probably wont get this due to other games on my radar for the same price point and I am the absolute worst at fighting games, not to mention I don't want to be anywhere near players like
>>181474 linked.
Now if the game has pony mods now that I can get into but then again mugen probably has that too so there is that.
Also Faust did nothing wrong >>181492>"Does liking _____ make me a cuck?"Unless the creator is using it to make some kind of self-righteous political message, just play what you want.
>/v/ is cancer all around>/vg/ does nothing but circlejerk about waifus and fanart>/pol/ thinks anything that isn't PC-exclusive strategy or Doom is le cuck soy maymayI just want to talk about vidya without having to dig through YouTube comments.
Though /vr/ looks kinda comfy right now tbh >>181571/vr/ is a little better but not by much. For every genuine thread there is also a shitposting thread full of contrarians acting like they are the genuine voice of gaming just because they are purposely saying a different opinion for the sake of acting like they are different.
It can't really hurt to go on there but know what you are getting into. They got some genuine threads though sometimes. Plus it can help fill up your catalog if you are looking into games made before 2000.
>>181437I mean, it's fun, even in its current state. I can't say I regret buying it.
>>181437The content they currently have is not worth the $15 price point, you can experience the entirety of the game as is in an hour. Without storymode it's something only autists who can withstand endless repetition can enjoy for any appreciable length of time.
