>>178564Know nothing about it, but bumping for interest.
>>178564>How dangerous is this Jim Watkins? Some comments at fullchan/pol/ said he is cooperating with NSA, which means ZOG.
But no facts to back it up were put forward.
So, at this time it is only gossip.
>>178629He seems like a pretty shady guy to me though, just kind of duplicitous and underhanded, the kind of guy who would pull shitty cons in order to get shekels to spend on anime figures. Kind of like Hiro, honestly.
>>178564>>178564Jim is a known mason and has been for at least 20 years, no digging was required because he admitted it himself. Not all masons are bad news, due to the nature of gating information with degrees, low level masons are a non issue and don't really do anything note worthy to even worry about. We don't know what degree of a mason he is, but given the nature of Sunshine which was part of 8chan for years until the bug exposed it and was patched then it's better to assume he's untrustworthy but not actively malicious like Hiro who jews the userbase, selling everyone out to datamine and now planning to move to more advertising for the normalfag horde.
Jim has largely kept a hands off approach and lets everyone keep to themselves, besides just shilling his pisswater site and news aggregation which nobody cares about. But with what happened with Ron's hostile coup of /pol/ Ron has shown to be the bigger problem with the site, at least on the surface and should be removed however because he's 8chan's sole head coder at this point that's never going to happen so 8 is permanently fucked to open borders on /pol/ due to the 4 year disinformation brigade every day on /sudo/ finally breaking it.
So you guys be saying that the nationalistic military/intel would want to control the direction of a popular movement that has political consequences? That they want to stop the potential rise of interracial violence and replace it with civic nationalism? Tell me it's not so!
What they want, prior control isn't just to be able to silence, the big quest first is about collecting and mining data.
And Anonymous always been the biggest thing to datamine, that's what allowed 4chan to stay up, a site like this was more useful with some people doxing you, rather than just collecting anonymous dust. Google also took an important part, and I assure you they even have database and tools about your IP, Exif, and even a software called Tropes Zoom, which similar forms are very useful in datamining.
If the same shit really happens to 8chan, that's all fucked. They will know who the anons are (IP; country and all) and have a way to control more in details who post what.
You don't want this, Anon.
>>178564>>188712I thought of a brilliant idea actually for maximum lulz
I was thinking about internet economics and chan websites. Its a grand scheme to move all internet traffic towards chan websites. This accomplishes a few hilarious things.
A.) Datamining and marketing will be forced to use chan styled websites because they`ll (eventually) have the most users inputting data to resell to marketing, big data or whatever, even competing with giants like Facebook and Google…
B.)It displaces the function of competitors like Google and Facebook for functions like information, search engine demands, internet content, and social networking. 4chan and other chan websites are a trouve of information for a variety of topics, therefore in my opinion, is a competitor to google in some ways to why most people use it, and similar reasons for facebook
C.) Dataminers, big data and marketing will increasingly be forced to sort through pony pussies and nazis, chaos of the chans, and maybe, just maybe, the system will crack, and humanity will be free
>>188775Indeed, datamining is what makes Google, Facebook, Amazon and MS the monsters they are. it's no longer ads,but who they are mining is you. the user's data, and with the Google captcha, every single 4chan post is linked to your IP and stored on Google.
At least 8chan never really used Google's recaptcha, despite they also feel kind of envious about the goldmine the belief in anonymity represents.
So yes, it's a huge potential. It's already forced to people who carelessly use Facebook seriously. Same for Twitter and all major social websites. But that's where you make a point.
Normies are easy to dig and datamine, they are NPCs. they are obeident and easy to put in a database and classify.
Non normies, people like us here are not like the kind of people who will socialize or consume. They worry about politics, don't watch TV, don't like mainstream shit.
Two options for the system
>Silence us through censorship, SJWism, destroy our community from the inside claiming the lack of inclusiveness (4chan/gamergate, furry fandom circa 2010s)>normalizing and trying to deliver content and manufacture shit that pleases our kind to incorporate Anon into the system, but that is totally impractical and economically not viable, hence the #1 is the easiest part. But the lack of data and comprehension of the mind of the horsefucker is kind of too complex and has to be concealed. So yeah we must keep it like this.
