>Trial of Jason Van Dyke: jury instructions under way. All appear to be listening closely to judge. All day, courtroom full and quiet. Could hear a pin drop.
>>177173We could be getting an interesting weekend with chipouts all over for all sorts of "reasons". Hopefully the police won't stand down even if leftists politicians tell them to.
>Van Dyke acquitted >Kavanaugh confirmed>Trump is literally Hitler>Someones feelings got hurt>etc. I'd enjoy watching a Chicago chimp-out. Honestly one is long over due.
>>177173ooga booga i love me some good chimp outs
Two updates. First is that at 12:28 p.m CST., 12 jurors have been sent back to begin deliberations. The police have said they will give a 2 hour notice before the verdict is read. Second, I found police barricades on Wells St. in the Chicago loop. They are on street coroners going down several blocks. I assume they are being staged just in case of riots, but they seem a bit out of the way. If a march/riot is going to happen it would be down Michigan Avenue, which is six blocks away.
>>177187Will do. Not sure if going tbh. On one hand it might be fun. On the other I had relatives die in the Chicago riots when MLK got shot. I don't think I want to continue that tradition. >>177191They're probably expecting a pretty big turnout. Six blocks isn't all that far when it's shitflinging time. (I lived about 10 from where the worst of the Freddie Gray riots happened in Baltimore when that chimpening went down.) They could also be planning to just hold an outer perimeter & let them tire themselves out within it.
If they're setting that far back, probably wiser to avoid it altogether, unless you can get some upper floor window or rooftop shots. I'm sure there'll be plenty of coverage one way or another, bro, no need to risk yourself >>177191stay safe anon. i hope you're armed just in case.
Walked around Chicago a bit, and it's swarming with cops. There are a lot of officers with green vests surrounding the corners and entryways of city hall that are not usually there. There are also some cops in regular blue uniforms standing on most of the corners running along Michigan Ave. (AKA the Magnificent Mile). Didn't want to take a lot of pictures and become suspicious. Cops might be dealing with a lot here soon and don't want to give them any trouble.
>>177173I've been waiting for a chimpout.
>Do you guys want some /mlpol/ exclusive photos? Chicago native here debating on whether or not to see the riots up close.Yes please.
This is going to be a good one.
Funny how on one end, there's calls for the entire black community to show up en masse, without a chance in hell those calling for it DON'T know what it'll turn into; and on another, excuses for it are being made ahead of time.
http://archive.is/zFX8oTime to get comfy in the mood with some LA riots footage.
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqA1Qj2MAu0&t=3802sBe careful out there, Chicanon, don't know what exactly could happen there or how bad it could turn out. Thank you for being out there in the first place.
What level of niggerdry can we hope to see?
We all know this shit by now, but it's still mindblowing to me that nobody's showing up to protest the fucking 600 fatal shootings done by members of their own community this year alone. They only give a fuck when it's the cops doing it.
I can't imagine what it'd be like to be a cop, everyday caught in the "damned if you do or don't" crosshairs. No matter what you do, SOMEbody's screaming about bias & racism.
http://archive.is/a3xgD>>177227Conservative estimate; looking like a 2.5-3 to me. Could be surprising given the unusually tense national atmosphere.
Especially given (correct me if I'm wrong) this is the first chimpout under Trump?
http://archive.is/hhJRH >>177191Buy some charcoal and wax lips. Then you can blend in with the crowd.
>>177228When you live in Mexico and you see how fucking corrupt cops are here and how you can't really help it, it's really nasty to see rightful cops going through all this crap.
>>177240This. I really admire the people who work rightfully in the police force over there. Those niggers wished to actually have an authority that actually oppressed them
like some countries in Africa.
>>177204Is that Sam "getting away with it" Hyde in the second picture?
>>177229>Especially given (correct me if I'm wrong) this is the first chimpout under Trump?I think you are right as I can't think of any real chimpouts. There have been a few near chimpouts like Charlotswille, but I don't think any of them took off. Mainly I think the reason none escalated into real chimpouts is because they don't have a chimp in the white house anymore that will defend them and give them a free pass. Also under Trump the police is finally once again given the respect they deserve. So when the police stops chimpouts they are honored and not hounded like they were under Obama.
>>177173*POPCORN GRABBING INTENSIFIES*
>>177173>department so underfunded they don't have tasersBut give every officer a multi-launcher or a supersoc shotgun and people complain about "waste of money" and "police militarization."
The silver lining is that police only get shitty ineffectual less than lethals like tazers- (which usually fail most of the time) -at most, the more dead criminals - the better.
Although the noble the idealistic pursuit of preservation of life is, well, noble - I still say what I say irregardless of this fact.
>>177204I can't tell since I didn't see it in person but those vaguely look like traffic enforcers, not just uniform officers.
I also can't tell exactly since I'm not familiar with Chicago but I'd assume those guys are either controlling crowds or controlling traffic, so maybe it is preparation related for possible rallies.
Since it's Chicago and that does look like the Chicago police high-vis jacket [1CHICAGO 2POLICE] I'd say they probably are supposed to be controlling """something,""" unless Chicago just likes putting officers into high-visibility clothing for fun, (which they don't as they absolutely have deployed crowd controllers before.)
Maybe they're even their under the direction of one of the four you took a photo of as part of "intelligence gathering" in preparation and planning for possible """rallies,""" how far from the expected epicentre of the potential
riotsvigil was this? Was it also several blocks?
Also you should now how to identify police you nigger, and wear your Thracerzod hat when you take photos of them and they wont fear you're targeting them for an attack.
Simple solutions.
Jurors have reached a verdict Friday in the murder trial of Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke. It will read read at 1:45 p.m. CST. It's surprising that they have the verdict already. It's probably guilty, but will it be 1st degree or 2nd degree?
Soon we will know if there will be a chimpout
>The jury has reached a verdict in the murder trial of Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke, local media reported on Friday. The verdict will be read at 1:45 p.m. local time, said. >Van Dyke, 40, was accused of shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald, who was armed with a knife, 16 times in October 2014. Van Dyke was charged with murder, aggravated battery official misconduct.http://archive.is/slkZS>>177389Sorry, just saw your post now (right after posting myself)..
>redundancy is my friend today >>177389Likely 2nd if it is.
>>177391>There won't be a celebratory chimpoutJust like a regular chimpout except they're happier while doing it.
>>177393Just 5 minutes until we know if its gonna be a celebratory chimp out or just a regular one.
Grab your popcorn, its about to go down
>>177399It'd be sad for the cop, but how crazy would it be that there were never any high profile convictions in these cases under Obama, but the first under Trump gets one?
Would be a huge boon for his popularity in that community.
Possibly the announcement of the verdict will be live streamed here (Fox 10 Phoenix)
https://youtu.be/d-5IHGRBGDw>>177402Jesus, they broke it down per shot
Shame that he got that verdict. Hope he appeal and clear his name.
>>177406They turned it into a circus.
>>177402"guilty"
"guilty"
"guilty"
"guilty"
"guilty"
"NOT guilty of official misconduct"
Oh great, thats gonna make a difference
>>177408What I find most troubling is that the jury didn't find any of the shots were justified.
>>177407>>177408Well, let's see how they act now.
Love to see the left hand try to paint this as not being in Trump's favor with the groupthinking blacks.
>>177409Probably because even in the report, he was walking away from the cops, and wasn't going towards anyone in the immediate vicinity with the knife.
>>177410My own state sucks with self-defense laws, a shooting of an intruder in your house isn't justified if he's facing away from you, no matter how he's armed.
>>177408How can he not be guilty of misconduct, but guilty of all the rest??
>>177412No idea, doesnt really make sense does it?
Though I dont know US-law too well, so there's that.
>>177410>Probably because even in the report, he was walking away from the cops, and wasn't going towards anyone in the immediate vicinity with the knife.Still should not be illegal to shoot a nigger wielding a knife. But it explains the verdict they gave a little.
>>177412Maybe they're trying to save the department from liability? Hand waving it off as him doing it of his own accord rather than in line with departmental policy? Shrug life.
>>177173Sit back and watch some fun
>>177408So are they going to chimpout?
>>177431There is some talk of marches on city hall to "fire" the mayor, but not likely.
>>177439Well there goes my boner.
If somebody is within twenty-one feet of you brandishing a knife as a threat of lethal force, then shooting them, at the very least as a form of warning (which you can still be charged for because it's considered reckless use of a firearm that could result in injury) -Although you probably wouldn't be in trouble for brandishing as a form of ending a confrontation.
For example, duty to retreat is retarded but in some states replaces any semblance of 'standing your ground' or 'castle doctrine.' Duty to retreat is most often used to compel people with the law to basically undermine self-defence, prosecuting people because they weren't sheep.
In Jason's case if he was actually being explicitly attacked the department would've handled everything and he would probably have been put on administrative leave. It's not surprising the department would disassociate from him.
They honestly should've just run him over with the corner of one of the patrol vehicles, it still usually counts as lethal force, but its far funnier and unless the officer rolls over them with a wheel, for someone to actually die from being hit they'd usually have to take a hit to the head from the car and a second one with the ground.
Nigger department also KNOWS it fucked up by not having tasers for most of the force (even if tasers are SHIT), I agree that it would be far simpler if police could simply shoot criminal animals with a weapon, but most departments compel officers to only use lethal-force if their life is in immediate danger, basically self-defence with the threat of lethal-force being a matter of officer discretion.
Why does nobody care that Chicago police don't even have proper equipment?
This is almost the same as Dallas when all those police got killed because officers were told to 'to not wear their high-level bodyarmour,' to not look 'militarized.'
In relation to Dallas it was five officers who had been killed, most of the officers shot had been injured in their lower-body, the rest in other areas of the torso and their heavy gear would've prevented those deaths.
Infact most of the deaths happened after the officers had been already shot but not killed; because kang man was able to execute them.
This was at a open carry kang rally...
With black-supremacists...
And a black-supremacist targetting only whites started shooting down police.
Really makes you think.
Departments shouldn't worry so much about looking militaristic,
instead,
they should be worried about if ordinary people, like you and us, decide to start killing police chiefs.
In all seriousness, people let departments slide shit like this all the time, so when are we scheduling the white-chimpout for Dallas and departmental under-funding /mlpol/?
