My mom posts pictures of me on her facebook often but I plan on scrubbing it of my recent pictures before I move out if possible. I've only used my real name on a select few sites anyway so I doubt I'll have too many issues.

That being said I'm poor so no good VPNs yet. I'm not sure if I want VirtualShield, Tunnelbear or HideMyAss more, but after my service in 'muricorps I'll be fully independent from any sites, apps or services I don't trust.

Just be wary anons. It may seem innocuous now but it WILL get worse. These sites will IP-ban or report your IP to your country's government soon enough. Just steer clear unless you have the following:

That's only a newbie guide since I've used virussoft for most of my time and only recently sought out more secure options. Explore, ask around in IRC chats and tech forums and I'm sure they will supply you with help. Hell if ya wanna use (((Tor Browser))) you can join a deepweb forum to find out more things about security from the degenerates and commies.
