>>167673It's been a while since i watch the show.
So, the show is basically in a weird ground here, with the story of a slice of life but the ambition of an epic story with a shitty attempt at moral lesson in the end?
I have some problems with this, like
>How did ponka got that instrument?>Why did she suddenly loved playing that thing SO MUCH?>Ponks apparenlty can't take criticism since she went full pinkamena when denied to play the shitty flute>Appulz is basically the token nigger nowhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vyq61qQF9ik>The writter was a bit extreme making ponka MOVE OUT to yakistan AND LEAVE ALL HER FRIENDS BEHIND because she couldn't play, what weight has friendship for ponks at this point?I really like maud as a character, so i will autism a bit here
>The writter seems to be scared of writting maud, making her just a placeholder for the sake of the plot, maud knows how important ponka's friends are for her and maud has also been shown to be a smart character, yet here she just airheads her way not caring about contributing to her sister's problems at all. This thing, this thing requires some serious mental gymnastics.
All around the plot i see things that would either make the story more interesting or plain give good moral lessons, yet the writter seems to just want to get from point A to point X not caring about how the fuck will he manage that.
I can see he totally doesn't gives a fuck about this, just take into account what happens in the episode:
>He sets the stage at the intro with ponks playing bad>Filler with some comic reliefs here and there>Basically a slice of life at this point>Ponies make ponks stop playing>A small cute scene with ponks on the window>Filler with ponks being sad and twilight and everyone else an airhead>Ponks moves out to yakistan>Smol filler>Medium filler>Big filler>Ponies convince ponks to kee even thought she plays horrible, so they let her play(((?)))>End of the episode """"""""solved""""""""Ah of course, that is totally the end, ponks plays like shit, but now everyone just accepts that she plays like shit and apparently doesn't care about it anymore.
This is totally a horrible way to end the story, in the end nothing was solved, it was just a pointless tale, the moral of the story is basically "If you don't like what i do just shut the fuck up about it, spread your asscheeks and take it, nerd"
¿Guat De hel kaind of morál es tat?
There is something i found really interesting on the fillers that could have made a better story thoguth:
>When the poners tried to cheer ponks up, rara painted her all up trying to make her look like old ponksThis scene right here, the plot would have been a lot better if it centered around ponks trying to act happy and normal like dropping the instrument was not a big deal. (i'm sure this has been done on the past tho)
With a plot like this you could set up the stage for a better
filler and moral lesson in the end, instead of "Live and let die" a moral that says "Do what you love but respect the opinions of others/Suffering alone is no good, open your heart to your friends when you have problems"
Thats just my 3 cents on this thing.
