3D printed guns are like an AnCap meme come to life and I love it.
Oops, didn't mean to leave sage on
>>163608Those parts aren't all 3D printed, are they?
>>163622the springs, screws, firing pin, hammer, and barrel are metal
That gun in particular is basically a modernized grease-gun. Though it has metal parts, its remarkably reliable (and doesn't require suppression). There are plenty of other printables that involve metal (often a roofing nail as the firing pin) more or less, but there's a whole assortment available, pick ur caliber and style.
>>163614Gee leslie, how come the Artist lets you have two AR15s
>>163614You can say that again Anon
>>163629It's more like a mini Navy MP5.
>>163629>grease gun>open boldAnon your fudd is showing
>americans talking about the guns
Here we go.
>>163648>>163649eastern hemisphere fags out in force today
>>163648Soon because of 3D printers no one can stop anyone from owning one.
This is the future we all want.
>>163653shut up libtard
>>163654It's cheaper to machine a gun if you have a drill press and a hacksaw. 3d printers are expensive
Has anyone casted one of these out of aluminum bronze?
>>163655>libtardPsychological transference
Still, ur right about milling the shit. 80% uppers are readily available and easily scraped
>>163660Aluminum bronze, not to my knowledge. There are youtube vids of brass and aluminum tho
>>163664Because aluminum bronze is strong.
>>163670then do it if Its so special
>>163671Ok I will. I'll have a pimping golden gun and you won't get to play with it.
>>163675perhaps this is more your style
>>163608reminds me of this
>>163614that's the first thing I thought too.

>>163608I dont really care how they look, i care about if they work, how reliable they are, how much damage they do and how much it costs to make them. by the looks of it, you still need to make or buy the metal parts yourself.
>>163802Looks like they might be chambered in 9mm, maybe even smaller, so I don't have much stock in their stopping power.
>>163802>>163803>damage >stopping powerI browse this board with literal retards
>>163852>implying stopping power doesn't matterYou're the only retard I see, Anon.
>>163858if i 9mm semi isn't enough firepower for you then you use a rifle
>>1638609mm is for pussies who hurt their wrist firing anything that actually has some punch to it.
.45 ACP. The all-American pistol round, for the most American gun to have ever graced God's green Earth.
>>163862less capacity and more recoil
If the Jew asks, I'm certainly not asking someone to post plans for making them. Or a guide to buying a 3d printer.
reminder that 9mm was intoduced with the release of the luger an admittedly shitty pistol
>>163947A little something for everyone's listening enjoyment. Reminder that you can't get more "All-American" than cowboy.

Now Colt 1911, THAT is a gun.
>>163955Little something called manifest destiny. From sea to shining sea.
>>163960look how well that turned out.
>>163950the luger was unreliable style over substance crap
>>163608What the fuck is this socialist, NK, Calico, cylindrical-helix magazine looking gluegun?
Can't believe people fall for this feminization OP by the CIA, just get a truck and fill it will nailbombs, like normal people.
>>163608They look like out of a SciFi film.
Also, in the interest of guns, what is the best way to be a /k/ fan? I don't have the capital to buy one, but I'd like to know more about weapons
It's small build remind me of a WH40K Bolter. Fuck, a working 3d printed Bolter sound kind of cool.
I'm going to summarize my opinions about 3D printed firearms.
*3D printed firearms, in their current state, are either interesting proof of concepts or novelty items
*You can make a better firearm in your garage with stuff that you buy off the shelf from your local hardware store and with only basic knowledge of using tools
*The hardware store gun will also be far cheaper
*3D printed guns are inferior choices for criminals since they can get cheaper and more effective firearms already
It is my belief that the wailing and gnashing of teeth is due to the (((powers that be))) being terrified that the concept of 3D printed firearms will fundamentally undermine their goal to defang the populace and turn us into harmless sheeple. They're afraid that all of the effort to dumb us down and transform us into a population of consumers instead of makers will be for nought. They're afraid that one day a citizen with no experience using tools, and who lacks the will to learn, will be able to simply press a button and print a rifle that's capable of shooting the same bullets as their bodyguards and military. That any hope of them disarming the populace and maintaining a significant firepower advantage will be forever lost. Present day 3D printed firearms do not pose that sort of threat against them. 3D printed firearms may never produce a reliable and readily usable rifle, but it MIGHT. So they will do everything in their power to demonize the field and strangle this in its infancy before it can ever reach a point that truly threatens them.
>>164067>hardware guns will be far cheaper3d printer is $200
plastic is $50 metal parts are $100
on a hardware gun where you buy a barrel you can expect to spend atleast that much on metal parts I'm not kidding not to mention needing to own several expenisve powertools in order to make It in adecent amount of time.
you will never get the level of accuracy 3d printing can achieve without a lathe
>>163862Its gay but its A-ok.
Its cheap, reliable, smol for coneal and all you really need for a handgun unless you have the money for memes.
>>163954Got a Marlin 336w on the way. Cannot wait to shoot it.
>>164462You can make yourself a slam bang in a few minutes with some off the shelf pipes and a nail for a handful of dollars. It will be fucking ugly, but it will be safer and more robust than a 3D printed firearm. $20 should cover the cost of both the firearm and the box of ammo.
>>164486Lots of "Class 3's" without stamps.
Why?
Because fuck you, thats why.
>>164496the difference is being dangerous at 50 feet and being dangerous at 500 feet
Guess this is the right thread for this.
New to /k/ommandoism but rate?
@164798
Oh look, it's Zald.
>>163803>>163862I would actually advise a 9mm for the purpose of shooting "lightly armoured targets" over a .45 since it is going to have a smaller bullet going faster with near equal energy for some loadings. For unarmoured targets a .45 will probably do more damage however.
>>163948>>163969The Luger was not nearly as bad as you make it out to be. It was still certainly a decent pistol with good accuracy, but worse reliability than the M1911. I suppose it is somewhat similar to the saying about the rifles countries entered into the war woth (The Germans went in with a hunting rifle, the Americans went in with a target rifle, and the British went in with a fighting rifle or something along those lines) but this time the Germans went in with the target pistol and the Americans went in with the fighting pistol.
>>164539A handgun isn't going to be particularly dangerous at 500 feet either, for that you are going to want a rifle in all likelihood. A shotgun is also effective further than 50 feet, although a slam bang might be operating at lower pressures, however, this is something that would need testing.
