>>159185I always wait until much time has passed before reviewing the season. I'll watch it soon enough
>>159185A few have been pretty good but the bad ones are really bad.
I watch still because cute poners are still cute poners.
>>159196I want to see "sounds of silence" episode, anons here have suggested it will be a anti-pc culture episode due to the sypnosis:Fluttershy and Applejack journey to the edge of the map on a Friendship Quest to help a group of ponies named Kirin — who are so afraid of hurting each other’s feelings, they've taken a potion of silence.
However, the episode will be featuring goddamit Rachel Bloom.
from what i hear little jim is scraping the bottom of the barrel. if the threads here are any indication, season 8 had like 2 good episodes, the rest were bad or shit tier. On top of the critically panned anti trump movie that is. seems like this franchise is going out with a whimper.
>>159213A problem is that the comunity have many fanboys, they are never going to be able to see if they're show is getting any worse or better, just remember the "is the writing getting worse? Or are we more critical".
I skipped the school episodes and the rest were meh at best. However, I steeled myself in the knowledge that Chrysalis was coming back in one of the episodes.
And they fucked it up.
They took their arguably best villain who, without a doubt, portrayed a real threat anytime she appeared (Wedding, map time travel, and team Starlight episodes) and made her into an incompetent, way too over-the-top, saturday morning cartoon bitch who seemed like she couldn't possibly be a threat to anyone. I thought her losing the creepy double-voice was bad, but I couldn't have foreseen this.
Sure, she had some good moments in the episode. I thought the initial disguise and behavior was a nice touch, and I genuinely laughed when she was talking to herself before the clones were created. But is that really what he writers want you to feel when she appears on screen? Is this the villain that promised to exact revenge in such a dramatic way and then, not even a season later, fucks around with clones that don't ever come across as a threat and only make you feel sorry for her?
Maybe the writers are doing this to prop up the faggot deer and make them look good, maybe Jimboy pissed his pants last time she actually was scary, I couldn't say. Even through how soy-soaked the show has become, I can't remember being actually angry (not just disappointed) about the handling of a character. I'll just say that not even excellent voice acting can save Bugbutt from being bland and boring.
>whee bug autism
It is quite alright for poni
For anything else it is stellar
>>159198Someone put up the song from that one, and it's pretty great. Probably the most adorable defense of free speech I've ever seen.
The angle is a bit ass, but if you want to give it a listen here it is:

>>159198The jew girl who voiced the woman in Glee?

>>159185Honestly I stopped watching the show at some point during season 7. I'm also one of those faggots who believes that everything past season 2 started going down hill fast.
>>160729I've already watched that video once before, and yet I'm still horrified.
>>160735If she have writted the song it will be another mayor shitstorm for the show since the S8 premiere.
>>160729I'm now upset that the korean war ended, can Kim please destroy america?
So far still good. Its not horrible, can be better, but in the end its alright. So far the entire season is 8/10, imo.
>>159185I haven't watched any of S8 I always binge watch a season after it finishes.
