Which of the three races of ponies would win if lets say Discord (or those fucking hook beaked, talon paw rubbing griffins) tricked every pony into fighting each other in a race war to lead the supreme race of Ponydom in the future. Who would win? To those who aren't familiar with pony races (I don't see how if you are on this site), lemme run it down:
>Earth ponies have the most durability and strength but lack magic and reach
>Unicorns have magic n sheit but if you was to silence their horns somehow they would be at a major disadvantage since they are usually physically the weakest race
>Pegasuses have flight and speed but pikes would be a big pain in the ass should other ponies use that tactic and magic might take them down if the Unicorn was skilled enough but they are pretty fast.
Also keep in mind our great Aryanne is an Earth Pony so maybe that might give some insight somehow. Who would win in this contest for the strongest race of ponies to lead Equestria to a new advance?

Unicorns. They all have telekinesis and can chuck things from a distance. All it would take is one elite unicorn with a razor blade to take on a who regiment of earth ponies. Same goes with pagasuses. Unless there are other factors this would be the result.

Lets keep in mind most ponies self segregate in nearly all episodes we've seen so this would imply it'd be less of a US race war and more of a actual geopolitical war between sections of Equestria, so more like a US civil war. So lets see what all the ponies have going for them.

Ups: Magic shit that will btfo large groups.
Downs: spoiled elite can do most of the magic while a majority can't do nearly any real combat magic. Also import dependent on food and most of their industry.
So unicorns would be much more quality and would have very small but elite task forces that'd fight battles.
>Pegasi
Ups: Flying importance on training and staying active along with physical industrial jobs.
Downs: No magic and import dependent on food.
>Earth ponies
Ups: self sufficient and stronger on average then your normal pegasi or unicorn
Downs: no magic, no flying very little industry.
If we want to go on logistics alone unicorns are fucked in the long run and need to take over and enslave as much of the earth ponies as possible, meaning they can't genocide to win. Also because unicorns would have very small forces to do most of the fighting they'd be easily spread thin and so couldn't go on large size offensives since their objective is command and control. So unicorns are fucked.
Pegasi on the other hand would have the same problem, their food source comes from earth ponies so they'd have to do the same thing as the unicorns. Difference is that since they are much more mobile and since they are much better able to go command and control over enslaved earth ponies they could actually accomplish this if they wn large scale victories over earth pony forces.
So it'd be all up the the earth ponies, who's only strategy would be starving out the pegasi and unicorns of large scale agricultural land gains. Unicorns would be easy to beat in this regard and so they could virtually ignore them, but the pegasi would be the much harder group to stop since they'd be easily surrounded and flanked since they can't fly or have nearly any anti air defenses.
So I'd say pegasi would win.
