No we are not being targeted from what I can see. When it comes to posts we do inspect posts that look to be potential shills or raiders. Example this one here actually has a small red flag since it is a 1 shot IP but it has been kept since black pilled threads are a part of /pol/ and it's content isn't super shilly just a basic thread. As staff we do monitor threads that come off as fishy or potentially a shill thread when they are a suspected to be one we review and delete or monitor the thread to see if it is REALLY a shill thread or not. If it is a HARD CORE shill thread it is deleted.

I recommend saging and hiding blackpill threads, and then heading over to /ub/ to find some material to help self-improve yourself and work towards a brighter future.

I like to think the /pol/ tradition is about seeing unfiltered reality. Some things are actually dire. A "blackpill" situation is not always a psyop, it can be truth. We should not judge things by how it makes us feel (that seems Lefty to me) we should judge the data in the post objectively.

I appreciate some black pills because they have the chance of making you see objective reality, hope can sometimes be deception, hope can make you lazy. Hope can be like prayer, you feel like you did something, but you actually did nothing. You have to recognise a problem before you can solve it.

I suppose I should add that I am not permanently black pilled because I believe everything ends up being cyclic. We swing far left then far right continuously. Where we are today is not where we will be tomorrow. The cycle turns around after enough destruction has occurred. The destruction is required for the counter-reaction to occur. Most people only change once the pain is too great not to. This cycle takes ~100 years, that means there is about 50 years where your preferred ideology isn't in charge. People assume that 10 or 20 years etc. of a reigning ideology is the the end and a perpetual doom. It isn't.

Change is coming but it won't be soon. It will be another 10 or 20 years for the pendulum to have swung enough to make the Right mostly in charge. The reason is, it is you and the urging of your generation that will do this change as you get older and vote and make decisions in life that assist this cultural change.

The president doesn't have as much power as popular culture leads most to believe. There are lots of checks and balances in our government that makes it really easy for nothing to get done if some other parts of the government are obstinate and dig their heels in. Normally the opposition would be from state representatives from opposing parties in DC, but we've got a lot of turncoats in the GOP as well.
