>>144014Well, Argentina's history was always between a golden age to have money, jobs, and dreams.
Then, some guy gets mad, and goes to power using violence to take the power.
This was common in the 20th century when militars could have political power as well (perón was the general of all the Argentina army, and he was chosen president).
This stopped all together when in 1976, a group of colonels took the power by force, and Argentina summited in his last (and worst) military dictadorship, bringing the worst case scenario to our country (people "dissapeared", big brother tactics to keep people under control, and the useless battle for malvinas/falkland islands).
After that, the colonels ripped us off, and in 1983 most escaped with our money. Some other stayed, and faced judgement, but the damage was done.
Then we were sort of ok, until 99 when the retard of De La Rua said "hey, let's make 1 peso = 1 dollar", and everyone started to use (and save) dollars.
After 2001, all banks and businesses when to shit when they said "because of the equalism, now we have the shittest debt up our asses, i quit", and the motherfucker ran away in a helicopter.
We had 5 different presidents in 1 WEEK because no one wanted to fix this bullshit.
Then Duhalde comes, and say "ok. I'll do my best". He changes a few rules in the constitution, takes another debt to pay up the other debt (partially, not entirely), and puss out one year later.
After that, we had good times with the Kitchner. The man knew what he was doing, and her wife manage to keep our spirits afloat when he died.
Just when things looked just fine, surprise! Time to vote a new president!
I don't know how he win (i didn't voted for him), but not this Macri guy came to power, and it's been a nightmare since
