The US is all about "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness", whereas Canada (and the rest of the British Commonwealth) is about "Peace, Order, and Good Governance". That could mean a lot of things, which includes, but isn't limited to, giving our federal police the power to shut down websites and quell dissent.

No I'm no lolberg, but the fact that our government can expand it's power at a whim in order to uphold "Peace and Order" (and to have it practically written in our constitution, no less) is a pretty scary thought. I'm sort of torn on the incel issue. On the one hand I've spent a fair amount of time in a similar boat and am inclined to be sympathetic. On the other hand I think they also tend to fall into an entitlement trap that a lot of people fall into that turns them into leftists: that if something is beyond your reach it's someone else's fault and you should focus on resentment instead of focusing on what steps you could take to obtain it. Nobody is entitled to sex anymore than they are entitled to income or housing.

On the other hand a lot of the observations and complaints made by incels are quite accurate and valid. Modern women for the most part are absolutely awful people, and the scale is tipped so heavily in their favor its ridiculous. Sex has always been easier for women than for men simply because they don't really have to do anything in order to have it; as long as a woman is at least marginally attractive she pretty much just has to go out somewhere and stand there until someone hits on her, at which point she can either accept or reject the guy's advances. In recent years it's become even easier for them with phone apps, and they have all sorts of double standards working in their favor. For instance a man can't reject a woman because of her weight (which she can control), but a woman can reject a man because of his height (which he can't control). A woman can be fat and homely with a terrible personality, but will still have multiple guys pursuing her if she's willing to put out. Meanwhile a man has to dress right, be in shape, have nice hair, have a nice face, smell nice, have money, have a job or at least a life direction, and have decent conversational and social skills. Not all of these things come naturally to everyone, and frankly even most normies will usually be somewhat deficient in one or more areas. Guys struggling with all of them are basically fucked. So all in all, incels probably have a bad attitude, but they also have some pretty valid grievances.

More than anything though I can't stand the reaction that snotty feminists are having to this. Feminists have made it clear that they have no sympathy for incels. The feminist attitude is that men are not inherently entitled to sex (which is true enough), but they also are vehemently opposed to sex robots (which don't even exist yet), video games (which they don't even play), porn, anime, misogynist attitudes, etc. Basically everything about these men is offensive to feminists. They won't fuck them, but they won't just let them be, either. It's the same kind of idiotic attitude that led to Gamergate. You had a group of males who for various reasons had essentially given up, and chosen to just withdraw from the world and play video games. Ironically most of them would have been content to just exist that way for the rest of their lives, and were perfectly content to ignore women who didn't want them anyway and immerse themselves in fantasy, thus allowing women to take control of the world without opposition as they claim to want. However the one thing that women can't stand is being ignored, even by men they don't like it would seem, so they tried to inject their feminist bullshit into gaming culture. When they got a reaction and the whole thing blew up in their faces, they went crying to the internet about how the mean misogynist gamer guys were picking on them.

Personally I'm not an incel. I'm definitely a cel, but it's not exactly involuntary. I'm not really an MGTOW either, I find that shit cringey as fuck. I've been with a few women in the past and could probably do it again if I cleaned myself up a little, but I've reached a point in my life where I don't consider it worth the trouble and don't bother anymore. If they ever invent sex robots or full-dive VR I will probably be on board, especially if there's ponies but the idea of actually having to go out and interact romantically with human women just gives me a throbbing migraine. But in any case I think this whole controversy is really shining light on just how dysfunctional relations between the sexes has become, and it's all mainly the fault of women's liberation. I don't know what the solution is, but it's pretty apparent that "incels" are not going away.
