>>134797Looks okay except for the opening; maybe the rest of the season won't be that bad.
It's only going to get worse from here, isn't it?
>>134827This post could be in any thread on here
>>134818>boyfriendShe'll be over it by the end of the episode.
Then she'll look suggestively towards a mare during the ending scenes in the background.
Nothing will be said, but we'll know what they're implying.
>>134892It's only a matter of time until that one faggot's degeneracy becomes canon.
One can hope they'll save that for the next gen, though. (Or wise up and not make applejack a nigger)
>>134797I didn't like the premise for this episode. Usually in these kinds of liberal stories they always have the family member who is not sure about their relative's new partner to be the one at fault. I mean would care who joins my family and collective. I think one should ask for ones blessing before you become an item. But instead the idea is that we are free to do what we want as individuals. I don't even think that I am that demanding. I just want my (hypothetical) daughter to ask for my approval on her potential partner.
That is why I liked "A Canterlot Wedding", because I could sympathize with Twilight.
I am sorry if way the sentences above are written. I am just to tired now to improve them.
However, I felt as if the epiosde was bitcontrived. I just don't buy that Pinkie would really have anything against this guy. He is basically like Maud. I guess the idea is that she sees past that since she is her sister. I don't know. I really feel as if it is not excuted well enough for that but I can't right now pin-point an exact reason for this. I might be cherry-picking now but why would Pinkie be like, "But it is just a stick"when she saw his pet? I mean Maud has boulder.
So... episode verdict?
I still haven't watched, and I used to watch live streams religiously.
Fuck the show's downhill spiral.
Just forced myself to watch it. I likely won't watch the first 2 episodes of season 8 till I re-watch the entirety of the season after it comes out.
>>135391>So… episode verdict?>prosPie family shown again
Limy is cute
Marble is cute
Pinkie is cute
Maud is fun
>ConsMaud's bf is cringe.
Pinkie acts out of character and that is cringe.
Maud acts out of character.
Glimmer insert felt unnecessary.
Not enough time with Pinkie's family.
Overall 5/10 very average and forgettable other then it cucks Maudfags and makes Limyfags cum.
>>135914I like Glimmy, that won't bother me.
I suppose I can deal with cringe to a degree.
We'll see. I found the songs in the S8 E1+2 premiere to be cringe, the second enough I turned it off. Show was over anyway.
Thanks for the evaluation though, I'll give this episode a shot.
>>135920>I like Glimmy, that won't bother mePersonal problem of mine is wasting screen time. The time Glimmer was on screen could have easily been used for other things and was a waste that could have been used for more focus on Pinkie's family in solving the problem or showing the problem build up with Maud's bf. Like I said though I think it was just a waste of 3-5mins of screen time that could have gone into something better.
And in all honesty the entirety of the episode felt a bit bloated. There were parts that could have been removed in place for other things that could have flushed it out more. The comedy intro, though funny and cute could have been cute a bit shorter to get to the point.
>>135914Explain why Maud's bf is cringe. I hate Maud's bf, but do it anyway.
I've gone through all the stages of MLP fandom in the space of a year. This time last year I'd just watched the first episode for the first time and was completely ecstatic about how much I was enjoying it. Now I'm all like GAS THE WRITERS LAUREN FAUST DID NOTHING WRONG.
Should I even watch this season or should I just go back and watch S1 and S2 again?
>>135932>Explain why Maud's bf is cringe.I dislike him he felt more like an insert then a real character. You could argue the same with Maud but I feel like they made up with it when I figured out they were going for the 4 humors embodied in the pie sisters. But 1 he is an insert that is made to have every ounce of autism Maud does as a copy paste. But instead of being quiet about it he acts as a know it all which contrasts with his high levels of autism when he was introduced as being thoughtful. Which leads into point 2 Maud may be autistic but she at least thinks about others, and he doesn't have any self awareness which makes him come off as cringe.
>>135947This episode was mediocre unless you are a Maudfag, in which case you've been cucked. Oh, and if you were a Limyfag you'll like it. Other then that like I said its a 5 so if we want to use this as a standard it shouldn't be as bad as 6 but will not be great.
I liked the episode but the new opening is really ticking me off.
>>135947What could i tell you, lauren, a feminist slapped sjw's like three times, and in one of "slap" she said that she not wanted the evil villains to became good and friendly, she wanted a more mature show, but hasbro denied to.
Now the staff it's filled up with sjw's, just see the stuff this women linked at the end of the petition, ignore the rest...
https://www.change.org/p/hasbro-remove-cultural-marxism-bad-storytellers-and-hateful-staff-from-my-little-pony-or-we-boycott >>135947S1 and 2 are better, they're god-tier and I love rewatching them. It's kind of funny how Faust's a feminist, but not a very good one, due to being a fundamentally good human being. She wanted MLPFIM to be good for kids, and she made it so.
Meanwhile, the jewish virgin (((Sugar))) made her kid's show low-effort toonboom trash.
>>134922Nobody is checking.
Checking how fucking RIGHT this Anon is.
>>134922To be fair, Maud has her own quirk that most other pones don't have/fascination/hobby, having a niche that's smaller then the norm. It's that sibling or retaliative who just quite didn't seem to fit to their surrounding, such as if you went to the city and did well, why they where more open out in the country, and vice versa.
That said I give the episode a 5/10, +1 to myself (6/10 personal) for the confirmed non-gommie glimmer
>>136134Are you the only person who keeps doing these models? Are you also the same Anon who did the team-princess ones?
Well, finally watched it.
I agree with most of the others, 5/10 or so. Personal Glim Glam bias brings it to just about 6/10.
>>136300She really is the fucking best.
>be anon>want to fuck glimmy>fuck glimmy>the endWhat's more left to say?
