Data theft and manipulation and all the other shit that has gone for years was okay but when a company works for Trump it is an outrage.
Hippocracy.
Also fuck cancerbook. I never used it to beginn with for obvious reasons.
Maybe I should start getting rid of my tracks on the net altogether.
>>133093>Is the end dawning for Facebook?I hope so, but it looks more like they want to go after Cambridge Analytica more than FB. Unless the each violation of the law means that FB will be fined $50,000 for every user it has (or users that did a quiz one time).
>Also worth mention that the flaw apparently also gave access to the data of friends of friends (according to reporting in Norway). The "flaw" was discovered in 2013.But I think they will have a hard time finding Cambridge Analytica guilty. People who did a quiz accepted on behalf of their friends (and friends of friends) that the quiz maker could access their data. So the offender is the user that didn't ask their friends if it was okay that he/she granted access on their behalf (even thou there is no way to opt-out of that behaviour).
But I hope FB dies, the sad thing is that Zuckerberg have become rich and I don't think he would care. And it don't look like they are going after him personally.
>>133093By failing to press charges against other certain parties doing the same thing, it can be argued that they are ‘allowing’ this illegal usage to occur. This inaction of past breach should directly affect the outcome of this 'next' breach. ?
I really don't know how they're gonna argue this one and I don't see how anyone could try to tie up CAnalytica with legal fees.
