As someone who saw the (legitimate) leaks of season 8 (the first 5-9 episodes), ask me anything
>>132054Why on earth would we want you to spoil it when we're only one day away?
>>132048I will watch it, but only with beer in my hand. It would be too sad of an event otherwise.
I guess I'll try to be there
>>132048Oh boy! I can't wait to see this show get even worse! Truly this is the pinnacle of entertainment!
I ain't even gonna watch this shit as there is no need too. I pretty much know its gonna be propaganda so I wont waste my time on this episode and this whole season for that matter.
>>132195Same. But this talk is depressing, I keep remembering when I looked forward to new pony episodes...
We should do a site-wide MLPFIM rewatch. We'll all get together and watch a classic episode every week, and talk about it and pretend the new seasons just don't exist.
if the premiere stopped at this first episode it would be a happy ending
>>132291>>132292post rare moes to summon the spirit of its already shit
Lesson learned: government regulations ruin everything, free markets make everything better.
TEAR DOWN THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION NOW!
Fuck this opener. It was shit, but not shit enough to kill the entire season.
>>132301Free the markets, free the ponies!
Chancellor Neighsay did nothing wrong.
To be honest I expected this episode to go full SJW but it went full ancap. I'm just so satisfied right now.
>>132305Chancellor Neighsay should not have a job!
>>132306Full ancap, if I had to guess, is homeschooling to keep the influence of others out of the family unit.
I'm surprised that the griffon of all characters was the only one that still didn't like the idea
>Call other creatures dangerous
>creatures decided so attack the pony saying it
Somehow he is wrong
>>132308No, full ancap is to say that parents should have a choice between a wide variety of schools which are not regulated by a coercive entity, or that they may choose to homeschool if they'd like. Voluntary associations can pop up to regulate themselves, but they can't force a school that doesn't associate with them not to operate.
>>132311But those would lead to being governing bodies over others, forming regulations and requiring rules be followed. So wouldn’t homeschooling be the preferred option and slowly turn the market away from all privatized schooling?
>>132315The point of anarcho capitalism is voluntarism. It does not mean you can't have a governing body, only that association with the governing body should be voluntary. If you form an association with rules, and choose to follow those rules and pay dues into that association, you can have whatever benefits that association provides. Maybe some parents would prefer to send their student to a school that is accredited, and would send their kid to an EEA school. Maybe some other parents would prefer their student receive a holistic education, and would send their kid to Twilight's school. Some other parents might think both are a bad idea and don't want their kid indoctrinated, and would homeschool them.
What is important is that all options exist on the table. The EEA schools can self-regulate according to their association. Twilight's school can exist unaccredited, or perhaps form its own accrediting body as it opens up branch campuses, which runs a different set of rules to the EEA. Imagine that: multiple COMPETING accreditation agencies, and parents get to choose any of them, or none of the above.
THAT is what freedom is.
>>132273I'd participate. My vote would have to go for the pilot episodes. There's no other way you could start a site-wide rewatch.
The ancap point was involuntary come on, it was respect the differences and fuck op everything that protect's the "owner"(ponies) of a state that thing that putted them first than the other foreing creatures, in other words, empowering the foreing creatures at the same level and the chancellor notice this.
I mean even the bible said that foreing people or mixed ones should not take political power.
https://ehudwould.wordpress.com/2009/12/02/the-mamzer-of-deuteronomy-232/>>132319Pilot episodes? You mean S1e1 and S1e2?
Those were great episodes, and I miss when people were able to call them the weakest episodes. They endeared Twilight to the audience, used her to bring us into the silly magical world, and used ponies proving themselves as cool moral people to make us care when she saved the silly magical world that turned out to be a pretty wonderful place to live.
Bonus points go to Pinkie's song, a song about how silly dumb things like silliness and laughter can be genuinely fun and can help during the dark times. If that episode was written today, Twilight or Glimmer would use magic to solve everything, and anypony who tried singing would fail at singing and whatever the singer tried to do.
can it end?
i'm not gonna watch it.
gonna draw poners on mspaint on my iPAQ instead.
>>132395There's a reason why the show got off the ground like it did.
The department of education did nothing wrong, Twilight and Glimmer put Equestrian lives at stake for (((friendship))). Remember kids, sometimes someone can’t or won’t be friends. If you can make a friend then great, but remember to put a slug in those bugs
>>132516>Literally puts (((friendship))) in Jew-echos in the context of the show Friendship is MagicMy sides, you people are absolutely off your rockers.
>>132307I like how this could easily be turned into an Aryanne meme. It's almost like these SJW punk types don't understand that 'respecting existence' can go both ways.
Was pretty neutral on opener, but the songs were cringy and not catchy at all.
Did Ingram really try?
>>132559Yeah, the songs are sounding pretty narrative based. It's a case of telling, not showing. Oh well.
So far, I'm just about 10 minutes in, drinking my first beer...wish me luck!
>>132567on the internet every anime is a girl
>>132559>>132564Wow, and right at 19:30 minutes in, they decide to drop the race-bait hammer. Like, out of nowhere. I mean, come on guys. This is supposedly a nation that got pegasi, unicorns, and mud-bloods together. What he should be pissed about is the absolute state of their teaching methods, and the fact a bunch of children just wrecked more property in an afternoon than Discord did during his entire evil phase. Did Twilight and friends never go to school? Is this shit not a requirement? Are they really trying to say that pony culture is this pants-on-head retarded, and hasn't figured out education?
I suddenly fear for all the toilets in Equestria, because they might just be holes in the floor.
I'll continue this thing tomorrow. I'm angry that some writer just wanted to give everyone mood whiplash at the end of the first parter, while offering nothing to the plot. They could've at least dropped SOMETHING in there. They could've cut out the fucking worst song ever and actually tried to make a real point on things. Grrr!
JUST.
>>132574Equestria confirmed third world immigration shithole.
>>132578Or schools shouldn't dictate the curriculum at the expense of students. Of course, they probably don't think that way. Fuck it, I started this trainwreck, I've gotta see it through now.
>>132576>Every creatureLa Creatura memes are real.
>>132048Dear Princess Celestia, this is what I learned today:
>La Creatura memes are real>Communist guidance counselors>Princess Celestia signed off on an apparently racist institution for hundreds of years at a minimum, with no ill effects.>If the governing body doesn't like how you do things, make your own governing body.>Slavery is not unusual among cultures, since it gets mentioned 20 seconds into the show, and is never mentioned again. Which is fair - Rainbow Dash sold Fluttershy that one time. >>132591I suspected the writing of the new episodes would be a huge crok of marxist bullshit, sad to see this is going downhill so fast. Heres a little hentai to cheer you up after this disappointment.
>>132593>SlaveryI'm fairly surprised the whole slavery thing hasn't been addressed before racism. You'd think that they would tackle that first. That, and why other races are selling unicorn horns (like in the movie). There's a lot of bizarre shit already in the background - why bring up racism in 30 seconds?
Are they going to address the pirates in the movie next? I mean, they were on the ponies' side THIS time, but they are pirates! Will people just forget that and say "Argh, they be freedom fighters!"? Will Daring Do get slapped with a fine for stealing from other cultures?
Grah! Too much. I need to get to bed.
>>132303Ancap is like the counterpart of DND alignment Chaotic Good.

>>132592>>132594How about some wholesome ponies, then?
>>132574>the two parters were just dropping race-baiting hammers>for a hamfisted lesson on (friendship)>even though Equestria has done just fine before the pandering and virtue signalingIt’s time to end this madness once and forever
For once I am glad my military service made me skip watching something
>>132516>an American wants o be anti imperialistSo when you moving back to yurop?
We all knew it was going to be shit. Can't say I hate the characters completely. I just hate the obvious SJW shit they are peddling. But Jimbo is just going to claim "Cartoon logic".
>>132700Checked and agreed. With all the reeeing surrounding the leaked episodes/song, I was expecting much worse. I can still see a number of ways that they could push the multicultural diversity agenda, but at the moment it almost looks like they're advocating integration/assimilation.
>>132678That man is always on damage control
>>132704It’s not a bad episode for sure, I wanted more Yaks and Dragons. But I also want more changings and not nu-lings. But I think the parts where the chancellor was hamfisted as a racist was shitty and Mary-Poochie-Sue convincing twilight to “fight da power” only adds on to my hatred of the writters making her the pivotal point in any plot she is in.
Over all, 6.5/10
>>132617Unf.
I can never get enough of Sweet Biscuit's biscuits.
>>132704>>132644>Notice no zebras, crystal ponies, or Saddle Arabians at the school.Oh, so you want all the exotic animals for your new toys, but blacks not allowed. Play that angle, and it works. Multiculturalism is a cash grab by capitalists, endorsed by communists, and paid for by globalists.
Did I forget anything?
>Allgoodmen.jpg"Everyone thinks their cause is righteous, until it kills them and their people."
-Anon
>>132708This is something I’ve never understood, why make room for new characters when you won’t even touch a certain group of “people”? I would have loved more Zecora episodes and or episode focused on Zebras, never got that, I would have loved anything focused on the Saddle-Arabians, never mentioned again besides a onetime appearance.(I’m not to found of the crystal ponies though, don’t hate them, they’re just meh) I would have loved more Yak, Dragon or (((griffin))) episodes, but we get the school of diversity with no mention of previous stuff mentioned, Hell the diamond dogs only showed up for ONE episode for Christs sake. Why does it hurt so much?
>>132705I actually find him very funny
>>132305His character was pretty cool and is so far my favourite character of the season
>>132752Because you're a good man who wants to see good in other races as they exist on their own and create countries and cultures worth a damn on their own.
You wanted to see what cool shit the old writers could have done with the griffons and saddle arabians and buffalos and so many more. You wanted to see interesting locations you could imagine yourself visiting on a world tour in Equestria.
Instead, you're seeing these races picked up by bad writers for being other races, because they want to inject diversity into this dead show.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK, I wish I was talking about an episode I liked right now.
>>132771I miss the days when I found cowardly famewhore parasites like this funny.
>>132788>tfw you nailed the point perfectlyYou and I were cut from the same cloth anon, and this shit hurts
>inb4 the writers know about us and specifically made this episode to fuck with us
>>132902Depends on when they started writing the episodes last year. It was right after the 2016 elections, so even if they're not targeting us specifically, which is more likely, their butthurt over losing the election is clearly affecting their work.
>>132752>>132788First off, checked.
Secondly,
>You're seeing these races picked up by bad writers for being other races, because they want to inject diversity into this dead show. This anon is correct. The facts of the matter are like I said earlier: This is a cash grab to sell a new School House play set by capitalists, marketed to communists that adore it, and perpetuated by globalists that have everything to gain by this generating popularity.
Also, I noticed another thing.
>Pic related >>132906The depths of just how butthurt the left is over the election really can't be overstated. Literally everything is political now, there's going to be no way to avoid it. If you're on the left life has become pretty much a giant pissing contest to see who can virtue signal the hardest, and unfortunately most people who work in film or television in any capacity are on the left.
>>132952>Everything is political nowIt always has been. It's something the left has known for a long time, and has weaponized it. They don't buy products unless the owners donate money back to the causes they like, thereby essentially getting their money back in the form of political favors.
Why the right doesn't do this, I do not know.
>>132953Limbaugh has preached this for decades.
EVERYTHING is political.
>>132952>Everything is political nowIt's 1936 all over again.
>>132971At least we'll always have each other.
We're the REAL bronies. We aren't the hasdrones that mindlessly swallow and make excuses for whatever shit Hasbro puts out. We're the real fucking brony fandom, right here.
>>132978>BronyYeah, no, fuck off. Ponyfag, horsefucker, maremen and /co/lt are the only acceptable labels.
>>132979>that 4chan "bronies are cancer we are horsefuckers" shitCan we just pick a real term already? We're the real bronies, ponyfags, horsefuckers, maremen, /co/lts, whatever label you want on us. Hasdrones subverted and took over all the major brony sites because they're cancer, this is all we have left.
>>133008That's why we call ourselves horsefuckers.
>>132979>>133008>>133026I've never heard the term "maremen" before but I kind of like that one.
>>132397I cringe everytiem
Still episode was not as shit as I expected.
>>133008It's horsefuckers. All others are Reddit and/or are cancer.
>>133067Alright then, my fellow nor/mlp/e/pol/
>>133092That's actually a really interesting way to combine both /mlp/ and /pol/ in a name. Well done.
So what are all the specific examples of race-baiting and why. I'm not gonna watch this garbage.
>>133063It's shit enough to warrant a couple threads on how shit it is. I made one for White Power Pony, just so Chancellor Neighsay has a fair shake.
I still haven't quite worked up the courage to watch it yet. I really hope they ease up on this shit a little and do some cutesy slice of life type episodes so I can at least enjoy that. I didn't even get to enjoy this show for a full year, why do Jews have to ruin everything?
>>132306>>132301>>132311>>132308>>132303>>132299(((Welfare)))

>it's bad but not "meltdown and break shit while autistically screeching" bad
>go and watch the old episodes
>they're actually good
JUST
I found out about this site during your recent raid on /pol/. I stopped watching the show around S5 or so. I probably won't watch the new episodes, but please give me the quick rundown.
