Facebook's user engagement has declined significantly. Same with Instagram
>According to Nielsen numbers through November of last year, interpreted by Pivotal, the social network lost about 4% in aggregated time spent. New numbers have been released that go through December, and the problem only seems to be getting worse. The updated data shows that Facebook’s core platform lost 18% in time spent>This, says Pivotal, reflects a 24% decline in time spent per person.” Instagram, too, saw some poor engagement numbers. Though aggregated consumption went up, the user base went up at a higher clip, meaning that time per person went down 9%.>Overall, this shows a mounting problem for Facebook: People are just engaging less with it. Algorithm changes may have something to do with it, and Zuckerberg even told shareholders to expect such a change. But these numbers could also indicate that people are becoming more fatigued by the platform.>If this trend continues, we may be seeing a shift in the Facebook-Google duopoly. https://www.fastcompany.com/40533258/facebooks-erosion-problem-digital-consumption-share-is-dropping-as-other-platforms-gain>>126791Now that i started to post real arguments on feminist groups this happens
>>126801Don't worry, it will still be a festering cesspool of feminist bullshit for many years probably
I never used faceberg. Haven't used it since the day my mother pressured me into making one 8 years ago.
I prefer to just shout out whatever the fuck I'm doing to anyone nearby who'd care to listen.
>>126797It means humans are developing a more disciplined approach to social media that doesn't consume the majority of their free time.
>>126791>>126801I've been basically using Facebook only to redpill friends who post trashy emotional appeals. Do this enough times and you push the Overton Window to the right.
>>126791Good i fucking hate zucc.
I was a sheeple until two years ago. I left Facebook. I sometimes miss the convenience to contact my friends, but it's not tradeoff for the data of all of my life.
>>126867W-W-W-What? T-T-T-They collect data?
I use facebook only to keep in contact with some old friends and family. Facebook is a dangerous place to post things, expecially political ones. If you apply for a job, expect your facebook to be snooped.
>>126926It's a bit late for me. I simply couldn't resist the bait and so got dragged into political discussions a couple years back with my real name. It may permanently damage my employment prospects but if I can redpill enough people it'll be worth it. If I get to work in a noncucked country there should be no issue anyway. Who knows, if the pendulum swings round in time it may be a boost to my reputation that I'm consistent in principle and beliefs.
hopefully the fakebook goblins marxist data farming botnet goes broke before be can run for president in 6 years.
>>126791>You're white! And you're evil for being whi- Hey wait, where are you going?Did they really expect anti-white propaganda to be good for their business model? I hope Fuckbook goes the same way as Myspace and people go back to talking
to each other instead of talking
at each other.
