I always assumed Pegasi would naturally have the smallest teats, around a B-C-cup on average. Big tits on fliers would bounce and sway a lot, after all, so larger tits would be seen on ponies that need to fly at high speed less often, such as painters and sculptors. From then on, pony breasts would increase in size as you get to the Unicorns and Earth Ponies. I like my ponies to have teats, as they should. I find that "crotch tits" are silly at best and downright off putting at worst. The era of crotchtits was one of transition, from more human anatomy into more horse-like anatomy. It should, by all accounts, by over and done with by now. But we still have people who just draw outright human vaginas on horses even, so I don't suppose it will ever go away. It's a strange mix that doesn't belong.

Teats are amazing, however. Not to belabor the point, but they are beautiful in form and function, as well as in what they represent-- life and love. Life, given from the mare's own body; her love.
