>>93120And one more thing, don't post this on Derpibooru, I made this for MLPOL only.
She looks kinda creepy.
Favourite style?
Ehh.. dunno, something in a deep sharp tones of colors. Like pic rel, I guess?
>>93122>She looks kinda creepy.I don't see it.
I suppose since its analogue the transfer to digital makes it cryptically uncanny.
>>93120You definitely went more realistic looking pony. The realism is why
>>93122 thinks it looks creepy imo. It may look better colorized though. The fidelity of the art looks good though, you should be proud of that. Maybe try a more cartoonish head? IDK, I am not an artist, just seen a lot of art.
>>93125What happened was that I drew the head then proceeded to draw the body, I realised at that point that I'm not following the style but felt bad about erasing the head.
It's pretty nice. Very basic pose, and the realism on almost on par. Some caveats are the muzzle and eyes (the right eye is too big as well the fact they don't have any irises nor glints.) With the latter I might admit being a stylistic choice. There's a crossroads with style you can go here; overly realistic or cartoonish. The hooves could also be more horselike which would top this amalgamation of two styles. Again, nice work. You're one of the best artists here. I hope to see some more your work, hopefully digital.
>>93128>the right eye is too big as well the fact they don't have any irises nor glints.didn't want to mess up. 'tis Just a sketch, If you all want you could digitally add the colors and that jazz, frankly I am disappointed with the body.
One can only erase so much until you degrade the page.
>>93129Merely some nitpicks.
>>93130I always hated when that happened.
>>93132>hopefully digital.whats the fuss about digital.
try it on my tablet, It was a pain.
The tablet had a digitizer stylus to clarify.
>>93134Ah, you're more akin to the traditional medium. I used to be that way too, but I settled into digital for the sake of circulating my content more. It has this clean look to it that removes the "awkwardness" of posting a posting sketch. Plus the added conveniences of digital art.
>>93135I never used a digitise stylus. Are those hard to work with? Does it not pick up pen pressure or something?
>>93120I'm fond of the goofy, cartoonish, Ren and Stimpy-esque styles of Anon the Anon (top) and Hotdiggedydemon (bottom).
>>93136You never used one of these, what do you use then a mouse?
its supposed to seance pressure though it didn't work with the freeo application I used.
>>93140Oh, nevermind. I use one of those. So, that's the problem with it? Just get a different application like Gimp or Krita.
>>93142For me traditional are holds the soul of the creator more so than digital.
Never liked digital but it has its place so if I need it I'll use it I guess.
>>93139All these artist draw, yet I struggle to find a deeper purpose in their art than just for the sake of pleasure, lols, and such. That is not to say that I don't appreciate their work.
