>>80924I don't know what those killjoy faggots on nu/mlp/ are talking about, it seemed more than fine to me
hasn't gotten to see the whole thing yet I really in joyed it and loved how selling slave and body parts was a thing in it
>>80925What? Were you caught fapping in the movie theatre?
>>80927That town was literally ancap, complete with the Jewish swine too.
>>80924Thank God they released Pony in contrast to degeneracy such as the mountain between us. Now is the time for this movement to advocate, and protest against interracial degeneracy in contrast to the wholesome and noble values that are often taught in My Little Pony.
>>80928Naw. I just saw 15 minute of pirated content, before I steopped and decided I'd rather see it with my friends on a big screen."
>tfw your local movie theater only has dubbed showings
Still haven't seen it yet. What's the better viewing experience, the theater or the leak?
>>80937Theater is obviously the better choice, if you're willing to cough up $15.
Also, pay for your shit.
>>80929There's actually a conflict of interest for Fizzlepop since she betrayed her won race in order to pursue her own individual gain. In the end, she would have been better off to trust in her own than stray against them. In a way, this is the epitome of volkish ideals.
>>80931>finland>dubbedI won't lie, I kind of want to see that just for keks
>>80924The animation and music were gorgeous. The plot was plain but well done. All in all fun ride/10
>>80925There's so much shitposting on 4/mlp/ I can't tell who's legitimate anymore
>>80946its okay i understand it perfectly, i have finnish blood after all.
>>80946I won't lie, those voices sound kind of cute to me. But I don't speak the language so I'm probably not hearing it the way you are.
11/10 excellent beginning, nice 3d
>>80928Ah, Diogenes. A man that I aspire to be in my old age.
>>80953Enough about Diogenes.
Let's talk about Fizzlepop Nutbust. She's awesome.
>>80924Thanks, I'd been waiting for this confirmation!
>flees this thread before spoilers >>81008Can't internet well here and monitored internet and living with 27 other male normens ;_;
>>81011I'm actually in a similar situation. I moved in with my parents, so that my mother wouldn't get killed in the hurricane, due to lack of preparation. I currently don't even have my own room.
>>81011Also, don't worry about the monitoring bullshit. It's already well leaked.
Meh. Apparently it was exactly what I always expected a FiM movie would be. Even scored exactly how I thought it would and everything.
>>81054what I meant was I'm not really interested in seeing it.
>>81065lel
>>80946they sound like little decepticons, Do all your women sound like decepticons?
The movie wasn't groundbreaking in my opninion.
BUT!
It was wannaseeitagain/10 once you go pony you can never go back.
Translation suck. Dubbed shit is awful.
>tfw when the theather only plays dubbed movies
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the fact that the MLP movie was released, and yet it's Rick and Morty fans who take the title of "most autistic fanbase" this week?
>>81495Reddit and Morty fans could never hope to compete with the autism of proud, horsefucking Anons; some of them are incredibly obnoxious however, so that's probably why they got the spotlight.
Also, I think there's a thread about this on /sp/.
>>81498>Not worshiping footballTypical redcoat…Anyway, it's not like I want that thread to stay at the top of the catalog; I'm just trying to keep this thread from being derailed.
I have a question for anon who has seen the movie.
Is the Ice King really a spoof of Trump?
>>81965Nah. He just points his finger in the air for a second in one scene in a way that you might compare to a one of his gestures. It's not a thing you'd even notice unless you were looking for it, and it could've easily been unintentional.
>>81965That depends on whether or not the viewer thinks that Russia hacked the election.
any of you gents have a good source for me to pirate this? I want to see the movie, but I don't want to see it in public, wait for a DVD, or most importantly, give those jews my shekels.
>>81994Check the leak thread. It's all there.
YOOOOOOOOOOOO
SAW THE MOVIE
IT WAS HELLA GOOD
>>82493I hope you didn't jack off in the theater Jamal.
>>82495>theater>not just waching it at home so you don't give jews money AND you can whack off as much as you wantit's like you DON'T like maximum pleasure!
>>82709If you don't watch the movie in theaters, then the movie will be considered a flop, or less successful, and there are no more movies made
>>82710and that is the price I pay for not wanting to go outside.
I still can't get over the It Ain't Me scene. I like to imagine that one guy who just gave up got teleported to Celestia.
>>82791Yeah.. That guy didn't look okay…

>45% critic rating>85% watcher approvalSeems like the movie is not only objectively bad, but only Hasdrones could be bothered to go pay and watch it. or they just asked you know the ACTUAL target audience of 6 year old girls.
>>83378It's a fun kids movie. I was excited watching it though. Nothing too special, but I hope it wins top animated film this year.
>>83378It's really hard to keep a positive attitude and be German isn't it?
>>83383>>83399>>83400I would not trust Jim Miller and his gay cuckboi lapdog to make a quality movie with a 100M Budget. And I am glad to see my suspicions being confirmed in the overall reception of this piece.
People were desperate for this movie to pull MLP-FIM out of its downward spiral. It did not, as expected. This franchise is marching straight to its grave with this development team. The sooner we come to terms with this, the sooner we can forge plans for the future.
>>82791>>82793I mean, they did throw the big bad off a balcony in this movie. He shattered into a million pieces. Stormking is kill.
>>83472Bah, this fandom has been in the hands for years now.
"Mare in the High Castle," "The Mare Who Once Lived On the Moon," any number of other fanfics prove this. There's more writing and innovation made for free in this fandom than will ever be done for money.
Because Aryanne is a qt.

>>83574That's how I felt when I saw her face too. It's actually what made me look forward to the movie.
>>83574Same here, To think that asshole nigger cat was going to sell her to slavery
>>83579Around cats, never relax.
Seriously, they give you brain parasites >>83579They were too inexperienced to know not to trust niggers, now they know
hey I saw the movie guize it was pretty good.
Seriously though, I had a good time, I'm glad I went to see it.
Finally I can join this thread.
The art style was beautiful, the songs were catchy but not too memorable, characters were on point, even the villains felt threatening, and there were enough twists and turns that it never felt predictable or boring.
Was this movie in 3D? Both the art and directing had me yearning to see this in 3D.
I do have some problems with it.
It felt unfocused. The characters were interesting and I would love to know them better, but they each got so little screentime before moving onto the next that none held any real weight. They felt life supporting cast than real characters.
Speaking of characters, Grubber, Tempest's little sidekick, is surely an afterthought. "This movie is too serious" they must have thought. Write in a character solely for one-liners with no connection or relevance to anything.
I'd love to see a movie in Equestria with a more focused direction. Set up a backstory for everything going on. Introduce characters and stick with them like EQG did. If the ponies venture outside Equestria, give us context. In the movie we got, things came as quickly as they went.
What's worst is that this won't likely be canon. Everything said and done with no consequence or weight to it. The Storm King, Hippogryphs, that desert town, all have huge potential to be interesting, but we'll probably never see them again.
Despite all that I loved it to bits. The art, the animation, the adventure, the subtleties all made it amazing. Best of all it was fun. It didn't feel like a barbie movie. I was invested and had a blast watching the story unfold.
>>83378Nah mate, critics are fuckers that will give poor ratings for the most petty of reasons, in this case because it's a kids movie.
>>84586this. almost every movie I've seen that I thought was good ended up getting a low critic score as far as I remember.
>>84689>>84586This.
Just because something doesn't get good reviews doesn't necessarily mean it isn't good.
>>84586>>84689>>84753I don't know. I always look at the critic's scores before watching a movie. While I don't always agree with them, I generally find that there is a real correlation between the score of the film and how well put together of a film I believe it to be
>>84755Fair point. I guess it's mostly the niche movies that stand out to me; perhaps just due to personal bias.
>>82495AS A MATTER OF FACT I DID
AWE YEAH PONY STYLE
I want to watch this, but I know it'll do 2 things.
1. Make me absolutely unable to go back to the show's usual shitty cheap flash animation, be it the early seasons that knew how to into squishnstretch or the later seasons that just focused on fluidity and forgot the fundamentals
2. Make me feel bad about the show's current state when something that, from what I've heard, is kind of just MLPFIM episodes 1+2 plus early show-style fanpandering done right, can be so good.
