>Also, remember to fuck horses.Nein.
>>56672Yeah, he's been ponypilled.
>we might have a finished movie on our hooves Finally, the real MLP writers will get to write something good, and the widespread brony fandom's going to get the booster shot it needs.
>>56852Daily reminder that the movie wasn't finished back then.
Does anyone wonder if we'll get to see any more of the mer-ponies (hippocampi) in the show as well? Maybe just an episode or two?
>>56852CGI is the cancer of the modern day animation industry. It needs to be abolished.
>>56956I agree I feel CGI started out as a great new tool but instead has replaced classic 2D animation and the charm it had. I think 2D animation like flash used in MLP has a charm to it.
One of the areas I can see this the most is when anime houses use CGI and try to make it look 2D it just looks bad just all around bad.
Heck in my opinion the real master race for movie animation is clay. Reason being is clay takes passion, time, and effort it isn't a simple drawing or computer program it's millions of pictures and micro movements. There is so much time and effort that goes into it and I find that because of all the work and passion clay animated films have in them the writing is normally fantastic since you don't want to spend all that time on a shit script.
>>56956Words cannot describe how disappointed I was when I saw the new Berserk animation.
>>56967I like Kubo and the Two Strings, that studio is doing great work. While claymation isn't my favorite style, I'll grant that most claymation movies I've seen have been great. I love all animation pretty much. There is a special place in my heart for 2D however.
>>56990Kubo was fucking amazing! It really showed that clay isn't dead and is still more than viable.
Also great vid of them doing the clay work on Kubo! You have to admit that is passion and a real work of art!
