Mentelegen. Alot has happened. But quick to the point I'm here to broach the subject of the Mlpol 4cc team. Champions of 4/7 /pol/eagues, it's clear who's house that is. But is that what the Fuhrer would want? Nay nay.
So. I want to hear about every goddamn 4chan cup or who thefuckever invitational, tournament, and degenerate excuse to sit around a monitor and fap watch divegrass!
No, but seriously, Mlpol qualifies for the friendlies and a whole bunch more, and we're gonna play this time! e\_/e

As of now, the /pol/eague doesn't know. It was listed to start this weekend, to their surprise This affords a number of opportunities, should any degree of changes or modifications to the team be desired by the board. Again, 4/7 cups says don't fuck with it cuz it's working, but there's the option to embrace more pressing memes; Honk Ponk makes sense, Bat Soup was timely, and Tarrant Chan is a qt, all of which are suitable to stay if there's nothing suitable to replace them. We don't know how long until the next /pol/eague (and by the way, there are rustled jimmies because we keep winning) so if there are to be changes, lets start now because I'm a fucking knob at all of this. Oh, hi, I'm the new Mlpol 4cc team manager btw.
>>385979Where can we see what the team looks like?
>>385979Have you contacted the /pol/ managers when the next /pol/eague will start? /pol/eague 8 was planned for last year but didn’t happened
>>385979>I'm the new Mlpol 4cc team manager btw.Nice to meet you! did ryperiour step down thoughalbeit?
>if there's nothing suitable to replace themI think a mention to the chan's demise would be timely, if there's any way to do that. A mention to the horsefucker refugees at the next tournament at the bare least
Also who is even in charge of the /pol/eague? fap? canes? juan? verdammt I don't remember jackshit after shlomo left
>>385997Right now I believe who runs the /pol/eague is horsbussy and Gary, the two current /pol/ managers
>>385982Apologies, I took a nap
The current team wiki page is here:
https://implyingrigged.info/wiki//mlpol/>>385997Yes. Which is to say, Ryperior wasn't intended to be the manager, he just did to make sure things went smoothly. This isn't disparaging of him either.
>>386031Thanks. One thing on the team comp, I think you should switch out 1 CB and 1 DMF on the bench for a CF and an SS so you have the option of resting those positions in the match (or being able to have more of those on the field as an option if the situation requires it).
That's just my opinion though. Others can weigh in on what they think.
>>386042Another option could be a pair of wingers (LWF and RWF) instead of the extra CF and SS.
>>386048Could also trim down the LB and RB subs to 1 each to get the extra space as well.
>>386051So
GK
LB
CB
CB
RB
DMF
CMF
CMF
LWF
RWF
CF
SS
Named whatever people want.
[Read more] >>386052For the bench that is, not the starting team.
>>386042Well, my thoughts are that 1. The team keeps winning, enough that anons are angry about it. This says to change as little as possible. 2. The only real opponent in the 4cc or /pol/eague in our specific case, is PES. It's not about beating the other team, it's about beating RNJesus. Any player can be put in any position as the memes demand, because you never can count on conditions AND sometimes you simply shouldn't listen to conditions. Like >rape, during the 3rd place match of the 4cccl
>>386054I'm not changing the team per se, more just what is there to support it in the back. If the striker, say, gets injured or sent off there's nobody to replace them or indeed anybody up front.
>>386055Also can't really think of a situation where you will ever need 3 LBs and RBs and those are slots you could use for other things.
>>386056Again, it comes down to conditions. You can basically assume that one of both positions is going to be shit, and without being a medal, those positions could otherwise be a liability, especially if having to employ the gegenpresse
>>386057Not saying it 100% must be this, just putting it out there. People can do whatever with it.
>>386058I might be mistaken, but my impression is that teams can call for effectively ANY changes during the match, so long as it's not so egregious that the streamer simply doesn't want to do it. I'm saying it's a good idea, but not necessary to implement unless circumstances call for it, as the current setup is largely optimized to account for as I said the biggest adversary, being the game it's self.
>>386061>the current setup is largely optimized to account for as I said the biggest adversary, being the game it's self.Heh. Fair enough. Still, the extra players (LB, RB, CB, DMF for 4 slots total) are there to be swapped for whatever else possibly.
>>385997Im techincally still there just more of an advisory position (caretaker). I'm putting more of my attention on /auspol/
>>385979Dont get a big head, just because we won under previous management does not mean it will automatically win the next cup. PES is a game of spook and it is self aware.
>>386062You only really need subs for the non medal players
and even then what you are going to be subbing at ~65 depends on stamina useage (for pes 17 its usually the backline)
Injuries don't really matter because their back on in less than 10 in game mins and Realy ded is quite rare
Sorry to you guys if it seems I dont visit this place much, but I do. I'm more of a lurker
[Read more] >/mlp/ is the first team to win 3 stars
>shortly thereafter, 4chan dies
>>386129So what actually is the use case for 3 Left Backs? You can't put 3 of them on at once and 2 extra is enough to cover both a sub and an injury (which could also be partially covered by just putting the subbed player back on in the unlikely event that you have both subbed and had that sub then get killed) which as you just said don't seem to matter most of the time.
>>386129Relax, I had a big head LONG before this. This isn't about self-aggrandizement, it's about BOARD-aggrandizement
>>386130Oh my, somepony put 2 and 2 together!
>>386158The use is that one of them will have shit conditions and be benched, while you run out the other two over the course of the match, depending on THEIR conditions
>>386159So over 90 minutes you somehow manage to deplete the stamina of 3 players in the same position? I guess but still seems excessive. Especially when this is at the cost of having basically no subs for anybody else.
>>386161or 2 players I should say, to be again replaced by a third.
>>386161>>386163No, you run out one player for a large portion of the match, then go Gegen +2, and then you run out the other player while the shit player sits on the bench and thinks about their life choices.
This isn't sportsball anon, it's MEMEball
>>386164Oh so that's 2 people. Why are there 3?
>>386165>>386166#3 is the one with the red arrow pointing down next to their name
>>386167Why is this red arrow not a sub for something else?
>>386168Because the red downward arrow is bad. Unless it's >rape, then who knows what's going to happen.
Seriously though, you display a competence in Football, but you seem to know nothing of PES and RNJesus
>>386169Right, but why are there not (bad) subs for players that have no subs at all?
>>386170Thats where/when you make substitutions and position changes
>>386171Which you needs subs on the bench to do. Hence why I am suggesting adding subs for an SS and CF at minimum, even if they are shit, it's better than literally nothing.
For all the planning and testing, PES is like Texas hold-em, where what cards are on the table decides MOST EVERYTHING, at which point it is on the player to play the hand to their ability.
>>386173To which I reemphasize that any player can be swapped, moved, and reconfigured as needed. These aren't actual people with proclivities and preferrences, it's a video game
>>386174Even to the point that you could for example just zap a goalkeeper with the Hax and he's now magically according to the game no longer a goalkeeper but actually a striker (with the game acting properly as if this is the case)?
>>386177No, the medal system is well established. If you look at the roster you can see who the gold and silver players are
>>386178Ok so you therefore need those subs to be the right positions.
>>386177But to this point, if it seems like a good idea (a very limited case-set) yes, I would put Aryanne as the keeper
>>386179*sigh* You seem to be operating under the illusion that any player CAN'T be put in place of another. I don't know where this misconception comes from.
Somehow I think you would be unable to grasp the 9 niggers forward formation
>>386181As it is a videogame player positions and how they act in the game are hard coded things so if you want the game's AI to work correctly you need players that are actually meant to be in those positions according to its code.
>>386185We playing the game or not?
It took upwards of 5 seconds to load mlpol today.....was freaked out there, worried it got the 4ch fate :(
>>386186While not sure of what you mean, I'd say it's more accurate to say that PES plays us
>>386188The site hasn't experienced loads like this before, take heart. Dozens of people will lose their shit if the site goes down
>>386189PES is a videogame, and as it is a videogame it follows hard coded rules. Those rules include the game's conception of what position a player is supposed to be playing on the field, how they act, what sort of stats they have, and so on. Thus if you were to put a goalkeeper in the striker position, they would probably suck balls at it compared to a lower rated but actually supposed to be there sub.
If you are going to be making new subs I vote for making Derpy Hooves a low rated striker.
>>386578Are you even looking at the roster? Derpy isn't even a player, and in order to make her a player we would need express permission from /mlp/ because she's their
GoalKeeper so fat chance of that.
>PES is a simulationHave you even watched the 4chan cup? Honestly? I appreciate that you're trying to be all serious about this, but I have to emphasize that this is not a sports game, it's a
meme game
