>>386855>first picSo it is a fingerprinter, as expected. Nice to know.
>>386906Well basically they can track you easily, so ideally don't go there again, unless you want them to know it's you regardless of your IP/cookies/etc. (e.g. if you reset your cookies, they'll still identify you and they'll also see you tried to reset your cookies). Though as long as you're aware that you're being tracked, in theory nothing bad will happen if you visit again - just bear in mind that they can see your entire posting history - but especially in the short term that can basically be expected because you'd probably still have the same cookies (unless you intentionally deleted them).
IMHO this is particularly bad long-term: if, in like a couple of years you use the same computer to visit their site again, maybe even with a new browser or with old cookies long since deleted and on a brand new IP (maybe even with a different internet plan), as long as the computer is the same there's a good chance they'll still get a fingerprint match and be able to link you as the same poster as right now. It's insiduous and you don't expect it, so it's worth knowing and remembering.
The other potential major issue with tracking in general is if the tracking is cross-site, allowing other websites to identify you who you are. This is prevalent in ad networks, e.g. if you don't block facebook and google scripts, an overwhelming amount of normie websites include tracker scripts from those so now facebook and google can collect your entire posting history across most of the internet. (Incidentally, a few years ago I had a brief stint as a web dev in the adtech industry, and apparently among "reputable" companies - including big tech - fingerprinting was considered unethical enough to be worth avoiding just to be safe from scandals, so you could expect at least google and facebook etc. to just use "normal" methods like cookies. At least back then. Who knows what it's like now.)
Anyway, back on topic, in this case here it's unlikely the party is affiliated with any other important websites. The 'ki and 'ru on the same domain can probably be assumed to be affecte (I haven't seen any evidence of this but why wouldn't they be, it's literally the same people running them on the same domain), but other than that, it's probably not a big concern. Although if the entire site really is a glownigger operation, maybe they could be sharing fingerprints with other glownigger sites, who knows.
There's also the " 'cord scanner" (which, I'm assuming, can only possibly work if you run the standalone discord app - there's no way a port scan should be able to detect discord in a browser tab). And that screenshot claims it might come with exploits too, allegedly. But I don't care much about that, it's only a concern for discord trannies anyway and surely we don't have those here right?
