There are a number of different threads about specific happenings, or about specific concepts, but we don't have one about general political blabbing. Taking those comments that always seem to get deleted off of the mainstream sites, and keeping the dot-connecting here.
Therefore, I'm starting this thread to collect these general ideas that don't really have a place elsewhere.
Just like
I think that this could serve as a great way to work out the kinks of some ideas to further develop them, or to suggest relevant books or essays to read to get further understanding of the ideas.
The world's pretty complicated, and bouncing ideas off of each other widens our range of references.
Out-of-thread resources I expect to relate to are links to posts in some of the happening threads, if relevant examples can be seen, links to resources mentioned in the
/mlpolit/, and the more general subject-focused threads.
I'm sure we've got plenty of ideas that aren't applicable to established threads that aren't necessarily worth their own thread, so let's start gathering some thoughts!

>>384095I doubt we will ever know what tribe/nationality the Cole bombers were, since they were reduced to red mist and burnt to ashes in the course of their attack.
What I loved at the time was how historians were pearl-clutching and saying that an attack like this had never been perpetrated against the U.S. Navy before.
Then what was the Hunley? It was a similar, but not identical vector of attack.
Proof that those who do not remember history are condemned to repeat it.
>>384089So... White Man's burden? I still wonder why the old men of yore chose to civilize the tribes rather than just destroy and conquer, but I guess someone had to work the fields
even when I'm 90% sure there was enough poor peasants for that. >>384098I like the term, "bafflegab". Sums it up better, really.
>>384098Creatures of Chaos need to remove clarity and definitions in things. Restricting others is good, but the real goal is for the immediate and perpetual reconfiguration of the outside world to be in line with their vague and undefined emotions that can fly in any direction at any time.
Basically, back when Social Justice Warriors had to abide by relatively clear rules, they had no sway. They had to do things like organize en masse and make very many false reports of illegal content to shut down wrongthink speakers who had platforms, blogs, or YouTube channels.
Then they ended up infiltrating the actual mod teams and the company through their brainwashed philosophical cognition type being everywhere, and affirmative action / diversity initiatives (later referred to as DEI) forcing them into official roles the instant they were anywhere on the same football field as being competent. Sometimes, not even then.
They have been undergoing The Long March Through The Institutions for a long time, and have now infected most of the power structure to a deep, or at least seemingly pervasive level. Remember how GamerGate proved to us that there were plenty of real people of significant seniority and accomplishments who were basically held hostage by the corporate rules allowing these lunatics to take over the asylum.
This is all an elaborate social shell game to allow monsters the freedom to become tyrants over an enslaved population.

By the way, which president was that?
>>384175>Theodore RooseveltYeah. The mustache matches.

He was the 22nd and 24th President, serving a split term just like the current President.

You ever notice how Leftists keep on thinking the Bad Guys are the Good Guys? How they keep identifying with evil and seem to absolutely refuse to allow the concept that objective good and evil can exist?
Way back when, having some moral grey in a story that let us occasionally question things made stories more interesting. It was fresh. We got things like anti-heroes who do good things, characters who were more questionable, like The Punisher (harming before the full trial happened), and the occasional story that could be seen to be a villain focused story.
Somewhere along the way, the infection of SJWs' corrosive mentality started to erode the very concepts of good and evil, with the only thing being good being the destruction of one's own society, and the erosion of the concept of borders themselves. Think of all the troonism attacking people's concept of self and getting many people to believe that there are no baseline differences between human beings.
This is a bad thing, but those who don't see the world in terms of being a result of foundational philosophies and viewpoints have a hard time understanding what's being done to the culture or why it's important.
Here are a few recent video discussing Leftists identifying with literal demons and evil characters. There are also some videos from when they wanted to promote the bug aliens from Starship Troopers as the good guys suffering from an unjust Human attack. They literally prefer to support an evil outside attacker than their own countrymen or their own species.
I don't think we're fully at a point where we can articulate everything in a single ten minute presentation, but something is definitely developing regarding the traitorous instincts being riled up.

The smart and well-reasoned channels tend to get randomly removed from the internet, ever since the 2014-2016 election cycle.
Celtic Canuck, a channel that sounded like an elderly woman giving strongly reasoned takes on Canadian politics, was suddenly deleted just a week or two ago. For reference, it is federal election season in Canada now, and we are in the advance polling days. The ability to listen to political discussion was actively removed from many people during the most important times during the election.
Basically, if it's a particularly well reasoned video, or talks about something really important, definitely try to back it up somehow.
I suggest using yt-dlp. It can also archive comments, though I haven't worked out a reasonable way to extract the comments from the .json file in a readable format yet.

I'll be honest. When the George Floyd story first ran, I thought that they finally had a good story for once. A story that happened as they claimed it did, with some amount of obvious unjust behaviour. But
literally every time, their saints are actually villains. It took a few days for the inconvenient facts to come out, if memory serves.
What I can't understand is how so many people keep falling for it. NONE of the various harms to White people are necessary. None of it.
They'd best get used to the idea of moving to Liberia. Get them out of the west. Yes, even the nice ones. The cost of hosting the rest of them is too damn high.

The Indians economically displacing Whites was a surprise to me. I guess they're just used to being servile minions, well suited to their intended destiny as slaves for the permanent upper class.
I wish everyone a safe and happy day.

Something like crazy space weather could theoretically take out all of modern civilization. They have all the benefits of the tech we've invented, and now they don't have to deal with a living population that might say no to them. With their infinite wealth, they have the ability to select however many perfectly servile and obedient high IQ serfs to accompany them as a meritocratic servant class if they select from the cream of the crop of humanity.
It's jumping in to what is basically a worst case scenario, but it seems like it could be worryingly plausible if you just allow for some sort of predictable mass disaster. The state of the education and flow of information could be controlled easily enough.
Whatever is happening, I don't think the people who are organizing everything want to maintain a strong and healthy middle class in the Western World. I think they are trying to stop this from existing.

>There are real entities wearing the shape of a human being who want to do this. Who want to cover this up. Who want to create an environment to foster this, to allow it. To "reduce tensions" by allowing this to happen instead of impose any cultural norms on outsiders. >I think that I disagree with these people politically, and that they are being very dishonest when they profess any sort of positive or good intent towards anyone or anything. Also, .webp format isn't supported yet on /mlpol/.

>>388763> Also, .webp format isn't supported yet on /mlpol/Fuck .webp, I hate that format. I think we should continue not supporting it purely out of spite. Plus, forcing people to open images in an editor and re-save them will filter phoneposters and other newfags.
.webp does wonders with really long videos. there are none of them here though and it doesn't seem like there's problems regarding storage
>>389225I think you are confused, webp is for still and animated images, such as jpg, png, and gif.
webm is for videos.
>>389227oops, i see now
still, the only problem regarding webp is compatibility
>>389227webp is a container format for jpeg, png, apng and gif data and thus is completely useless. The codecs used by webm are really neat though
Annoyingly, .webp is also used for gif images, including animated gifs.
>>389236>AnnoyinglyYeah, I have to use Gimp to export them as .gif
>>389228It's also the default format that the video thumbnails are downloaded in, which adds an extra step to uploading videos to the site.
