If Kamala "wins" it just means that she owns the dumpster fire for the next four years, just beating Trump doesn't automatically make the democrats' problems go away. People on both sides are already pretty unhappy. Lefties tolerate the current administration and are willing to vote for Kamala if it keeps Trump out of office, but they don't like her or Biden. If the election rigging is so obvious that not even normies can ignore it, plus Kamala turns out to be as shitty a president as Biden, which she would be guaranteed to, they're going to be facing a mutiny from all sides.

If you're about to get pulled into and/or deliberately start a major war, you want the population more or less behind you. Dealing with widespread general discontent while simultaneously trying to fight an unpopular war is a bad position to be in.
