Way ahead of ya. I had a full rewatch non-stop this september. Season 4 is where you start seeing a noticeable decline.
>>321826Don't know. I used to think that based on my own fallicious cherry picking but, there are many episodes up to season five that I like. Obviously, it's a mix bag and has allways been becuase some episodes you like and some you don't but in general, I'd say season 8 and 9 are the truly bad ones and perhaps season 7. It's hard to say though since I haven't watched them that well. But tjhe frienship school and the creature six really put me of and the finals with.
I watched The Ending of The End and The Last Problem yesterday. The Ending of The End was was fine but I didn't like The Last Problem. While the ideas for the episode wasn't entirely bad, it doesn't really make sense and too such a degree that it became a problem. Like if Twilight is the ruler of Equestria now, why don't just decide that Ponyville is the capital of Equestria or something. Why can't you make it so you keep in contact with your friends? It felt contrived for the message, which was change happens. Sure, and that's sad when it comes to death and age and stuff but it's not like you haven't resisted change before. In the last pair of episodes you could have just let the evil trio destory Equestria since change isn't bad and natural and all that. It tugged in my heart a little to see Rarity have a grey streak in her mane but it's also unlike that
Rarity would not dye her hair if she got that grey.
The implication that Appledash is a thing due to them talking about how they, appearently, share chores now was gay.
The song in the end tugged at my heartstrings as well. I guessit was a good farewell song.
But anyway, Mending Fences is from season 5 and it's one of my favorite episodes but I could be cherry picking again.
