Op here. I smoke tobacco pipe but wouldn't say I'm addicted to it sense its at most 4 times a month. I drink a lot of coffee which at times can cause twitching in my eye.
The only thing im addicted to is vidya and I think it takes up a lot of time and energy I could use on improving myself.

I had an absolutely obscene amount of soda during high school and it screwed up my teeth pretty bad, I've brought it down to about one a day but can't quit the garbage even though I know it's terrible.
Same goes for vidya, I'm actually at the point where I don't get joy from vidya anymore; but I use it as an excuse in my mind for not doing other things because I want to play a game that I get no entertainment from. It's like putting off a date because you want to hang out with your friends; but you hate your friends.

Video games. Stunted my social growth. Now I'm a jobless college dropout, paying rent with ten month old savings, and playing games that bore me all day.
