I feel like I only write pony because it's what I wanted to eventually get into 6 years ago. And because if I give it up I won't have anything else to do.

I think you can write more genres if you try. You know how to write dialogue, describe scenes, feelings and also how to keep the flow in a story. This is the hard part to get down I think. The rest is just setting and characters.
If you want to write a different genre try creating a short bulletpoint list of characters and their traits, and also the world the story is set in. Sort of like the MLP Show Bible. Then I think you wont have any big problem writing something entertaining and exciting to read.

All I kno about 2hu is it's got a girl who can fuck with reality by "changing boundaries" so she can drop trains on people and beat Dio Over Heaven. Also there's a Remia Hakurei somewhere and it's an arcade plane shooter but with girls.

Consider MLP a baseline for future endeavors. It was almost revolutionary to have a world inhabited almost entirely by none-humanoid creatures and the creative possibilities have been almost endless.
Try something similar and create a new fantasy/sci-fi world inhabited by beings quite unlike us except for feelings. Having an effective design while remaining cutesy is the hardest part.
