>>124182 please do. the possibilities with that are incredible. easily could be cirrus maximus quality. we could have the two best stadiums in the cup.
>>124361 I'd much rather it be /tg/ vs /mlp/ but we don't get good things. Its more likely unless we get really lucky /k/ will beat us. I can only hope that /k/ isn't as much as a powerhouse as they have seemed and that its mostly just autistic testing.
>>124486 Its funny in the end because last that I can recall PMB was helping /x/ get started last cup. Could be that he's still testing for them, in which case he could be helping them test against /mlp/.
>>124726 Don't worry Pablo The fun has just begun... So don't get shot by a cartel goon or something,k? Also, mods stick it back when today's 1st match starts, yo?
>I’ve just jumped from a hay bale to the upper rung of a bleacher seat — it’s the only way I can see Cruz, surrounded by fans, cameras and boom mics. Now I’m looking down, and the Texan with slicked-back hair, a rugged outdoorsman’s jacket and hiking shoes is talking about ponies. “What’s your favorite My Little Pony?” Cruz asks his tiny supporter, a little girl who is wearing a Rainbow Dash beanie. ”Twilight,” she says. “I have two daughters, and they love Twilight,” Cruz says, before adding, with a grin: “My favorite, though, is Applejack. I just think she’s funny.” [emphasis ours]
MAKE IT STOP MY HEART CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Twilight gets goal of the cup for that 120+0 goal. absolutely unbelievable game. Fuck anyone that says that the cup is dying, this is the best game for 4cc in a long ass time.
I have to say /mlp/ have played a marvellous tournament. So it have been some truly fantastic matches to watch. It was a shame it ended this way, but you have played with honour and given many hearts extra exercise.
>>125205 It truly was a one of a kind game. Never in 4cc history do I believe we have had a final that hyp. If only it had been /pol/ instead of /u/, but it was still a great game.
>>125203 /pol/eague 3 is scheduled for autumn i believe. very much looking forward to our matches then but i don't think that it will be in time to crowdsource tictacs.
>>125204 I don't think Shlomo has a choice, he knows about the magic of friendship so I don't think he will be able to abstain. >he might watch it in secret
>>125211 He said he would watch more mlp stuff if /mlp/ won, but honestly if he were to spam /mlp/ with a "I'm going to watch /mlp/ because you got so close" he'd become an horsefucker hero.
>>125212 Can he really fucking stop pretending THAT hard, it makes me fucking cringe.... I am so fucking mad, God I think I will bereak something today at the gym...
>>125214 We're all a bit mad, but honestly we got close and down to a coin toss for a third time. It was unlikely we'd win again after all of that. So I'm just happy the ride was fun while it lasted.
>>125218 My heart rate has dropped enough for me to intake what just happened fully. I really wish we won but /u/ at least was a good sport about it. Maybe next time one of /myteams/ will win. Can't wait till spring and then summer!
>>125221 >Good fucking luck trying to win 3rd star now… If anything /mlp/ management newclop is has finally gotten their shit together. They went up against some of the hardest teams in the round robbin and some of the toughest in the knockouts and just came out. If anything I'd be that in summer they will easily make knockouts again if they stay this organized. Besides I want them to get a third start against /pol/.
The loss is disappointing, but in the grand scheme of things there is no reason to be upset. /mlp/ did not preform that well in the group stage, and just barely limped into the finals. It was exciting to see them advance so far, but for them to lose was not unexpected. We'll see them play again in summer at the end of July. Hopefully /mlp/ management can get their heads out of their ass and become a real contender for a third star.
>>125225 i'd like to hope that teams that have been consistently bad or are new advance. /bant/ and /aco/ are potentially going to have teams and it would be nice to see them do well. I personally want /b/ to move up as well.
>>125234 Maybe we can help rig the vote to get anonfilly in to replace her? /mlp/ refuses to let Aryanne in for some reason, and getting the filly in would be a stealth way of getting /mlpol/ on the team.
>>125233 never said that it was a popular opinion, just that it would be nice for them to be a high quality team. would agree that the team needs a healthy dose of autism though.
>>125225 I hope /tv/ comes back. >>125236 I am kinda done&done after this. I hope MagicGlue&co. won't burry /mlp/. Or they will go full fucking try-hard mode, that ends even worse.
>>125243 I dislike how anonfilly is a general that hasn't intergrated well into our board. I was hoping they'd just come here and then spread out and post anonfilly content everywhere on this board, but they are a shitty general that breaks our founding rules of no generals.
>>125246 I wouldn't mind having a thread designated for greens and for anonfilly stuff to be in it along with encouraging /mlpol/ greens to be made or posted in it. Hell I'd like to see a thread where the denizens of anonfilly get into disagreements with us over politics or where they tell us our shitty art is shit and tell us how to get gud.
>>125248 Then make a thread like that you stupid faggot. Make a thread that says; anonfilly, your art is shit, prove me wrong that ours are better... isn’t not hard if you want this. Get the discussion going if you want change and stop hating and hoping things will magic themselves better
>>125244 I think a couple of them do occasionally post in /mlpol/ threads, and I agree with >>125246 that I don't want filly shit everywhere. However, for the most part you are right. It's sad that they remain an insular general that refuses to integrate with the rest of the board. In fact, they usually just shitpost in their discord, and some also say they refuse to check out the rest of the catalog here. Mind you some of the fillyfags are integrating, and the move to /mlpol/ has influenced them some, but they mostly seem content remaining in their ghetto.
>>125257 Do continue. I don't have any problem about Anonfilly thread. Hell, you could say some-what the same for /sg/ ;^) Relax, just a little bait...
>>125259 It's the best we've done in a Winter Cup. Who knows, maybe with /mlp/'s resurgence we'll be able to get them when we're obviously at our best: the Summer Cup.
Just make sure to sack HI ANON!. She's blown too many games.
I'm looking into learning to become a drawfag to help out with promo content, hype vids, etc. but have no idea where to start. I don't suppose there is anyone who might be able to point me in the right direction?.
>>125314 What about drawfaging do you need help with? I'm not really much of a drawfag myself but I can do vector work in paint.net I guess find tools that you like and are good at, whether it be paper and pencil or a tablet, I use vectors in paint.net, but then just practice over and over again till you think your work looks presentable. If its on videos or the like, just look up toturarials. The hard part of aquiring a skill is always getting over the learning curve, so the start will always be the hardest, but afterwords you'll get better and better until you can make decent content faster and faster.
>>125320 Well depends what type of work your looking on getting into. If its vector work GIMP and Paint.net are both good for different reasons. GIMP is a tool that is good if you know how to program, paint.net is good because its like ms paint but also sorta like Photoshop. They're both free so that's an upside, but if you want Photoshop I'd recommend looking for a torrent and crack since they exist everywhere. Just don't be stupid about it and use a VPN if that's what you want to do. If you want to hand draw stuff or use some sorta tablet someone else will have to direct you there since that's something I have no idea on.
>>125251 I think you're over-exaggerating things. From what I've seen, people have been fine with political-related things getting posted there. And I'm sure there are people who check out the rest of the board from time to time. I'm one of them. As for the Discord comment, a good portion of the users there are also in the /mlpol/ discord.
>>125244 sheltered fillyfag here I've tried skimming page 1 of the catalog a few times, but I never manage to find a thread that piques my interest I generally don't have a particularly vested interest in most politics, and I tend to shy away from political issues and discussion wherever I go to begin with This place is fairly comfy and the mods here are several leagues better than the ones back on /mlp/, but people like you who whine about how self-contained our threads here are remind me of guys like that one faggot who was reeing at us when we first arrived because anonfilly is green and not orange Fags like you who expect us to reject our roots, removing our own culture and replacing it with yours, are the only people here I generally dislike Those of us who wish to spread out here will do so, but trying to force those who don't have such a desire to do so can only end badly for one or both of us I personally wasn't even around /mlp/ when the April Fools prank happened and I've never been to /pol/ before in my life, so what business would I have in any of the usual threads here?
>>125365 I'd go as far to say I haven't seen a final as good ever. Rarely if not ever do you get to see two teams so equally matched go head to head. >>125352 Anon I for one agree with green because I want to acknowledge our roots and because I've been on 4 so long, and continue to go on, which makes me see myself that way. But the fact remains that we have a rule against generals and regardless of whether add it to your thread titles you are one we allow to exist here. The reason I think most anons let you stay is because at first when your thread was taken down you were a happening and most anons felt sympathetic since the mods have been equally large fags if not worse to our community. I have no intention on kill your culture but the fact remains that you need to eventually branch out past a general. Whether that be creating new threads for specific things related to anonfilly content like greens, art, and cyoa or just using the threads we currently have you need to eventually kill the "general". Keeping a single general won't last forever and thinking it will is delusional since its against the rules here. Your becoming less and less of a happening so your community needs to get out of the single thread because one day you won't be able to get around rule 9. If you want to keep talking about this I'd suggest we make a thread specific to it.
>>125450 >Killing one of the fastest threads on the board Sounds like a great way to axe site traffic, faggot, we had generals before Anonfilly even got here. The fuck you think Syria GENERAL and Awoo News Network is?
When rule 9 was drafted on April Fools, it was in the spirit of avoiding shit like what PTG turned into, or /mlp/'s infamous bump generals, of which Anonfilly is neither. Your argument holds zero water.
That shit aside, let me suggest some mind-cannon for you. If you don't see the outcome of the match as some metaphysical MLP shit then you're not looking hard enough.
Picture Princess Cadence, standing there at round 10 of benalties of one of the most epic games of all time. Both sides are worn out, having played their hearts out with pride and ferocity. Anime lolis and ponies alike are beat the fuck up, scraped and bruised, and utterly exhausted both from the game and the cup as a whole. Both teams have played like champions, uncontestably.
But /mlp/ already has 2 stars, and when you think about it with the way /u/ had played, they absolutely deserved a star.
"Whoops," says Cadance. At least, that's how I see it going down.
>>125540 To be fair though if you rewatch the match she saved the burden's spaghetti that could have caused a /u/ goal. She saved and killed it which when it comes to PES I'm not surprised.
>>125618 Like what? I mean memetic virtual divegrass is more fun than actual divegrass, so go ahead. >tfw Hi Anon penal will get a grip on me longer than last EURO Poland - Portugal penalty shoot-out
>What would we be watching? Lots of horsepussy and big white stallions breeding the purest mares. That or whatever fetish the chat wants obviously. I wish... likely something like the friendship tests, if you are all asking what teams will be involved, as of now I have no idea, its just a thought.
>>125667 Just off the top of my head, we'd have an Anonfilly team, a Syriana & /sg/ team, a Christian pony team, an Epona team, an Aryanne team, and maybe one of the other boards like /sp/.
>>125699 There are plenty of options if we needed another team. I'm sure that autists could pull together enough material if they start from any of the OC we've got. If nothing else we know how to turn out a high volume of content.
>>125724 fireaxe would be team captain obviously. It would also be nice if we could get ahold of the models that the motherboard used this winter cup then reskin them.
>>125730 can't say that i do. i also don't really know how difficult the task would be. most of the time it would just be new kits, a recolor and a changed cutiemark right? How hard can that be? i say as i have no idea what i'm talking about
>>125236 I'm a bit late, but this has to be said: DO NOT DO THIS as an anonfillyfag, this would go directly against our best interests. If you try to rig the poll, then it will upset everybody who voted legitimately and it will make the poll results illegitimate. Even mentioning the idea of doing this makes the managers less likely to consider giving anonfilly a chance on the poll to begin with, and false accusations of exactly this being done were levied at us during the massive dramafest at the last roster vote. You very well may have fucked over any chance we might have had just like how you made things worse with your /qa/ raid when we got scruff'd, and I will not stand for either
>>125805 I agree that trying to rig the polls is not a good idea, but >Implying the mods there care about /qa/ >You >We Don't generalize. You're talking to an individual, not the entirety of this board. You don't even know if the person you're replying to participated in the raid.
>>125810 >spoiler text You're conflating the two halves of my post. I only used "you" and "we" in reference to collectives when I was talking about the /qa/ raid, and the guy I was responding to makes an even worse generalization in an even more egregious way by implying that all of /mlpol/ would be vindicated by forcing anonfilly onto the roster through underhanded means and that anonfilly is intrinsically related to /mlpol/ itself
I do agree that the mods probably don't give a shit about /qa/, but they can also probably use the raid as ammunition to sully the thread's name despite the thread itself asking for the raid to not be put into motion before it was put into motion anyway
>>125838 The /qa/ raid was not performed by collectives. It was done by individuals. There were people from /mlpol/ who were hesitant about doing it.
But this is not relevant to the 4cc, so I will not argue further here. You shouldn't have even mentioned the raid in your post to begin with. If you want to talk about why rigging the poll would be a mistake, then do that. Don't bring unrelated events into this.
>>125846 Yes, I was in the wrong when I erroneously referred to collectives and I agree that this conversation became derailed by talking about the raid, but I only mentioned the raid offhandedly at the end; you're the one who made it the focus of the conversation I fully agree that it's best that we drop this and stop talking about it however
>>125733 >>125667 My Autism has been on overdrive since this got brought up. Pic is concept logo for league I threw together real quick so its not A+ quality. I tried to take elements from the logos of the 4cc teams and integrate them. I'm just tinkering about and seeing what works and what doesn't, the mashup-logo was just the first thing that came to mind. already aware that text, stars, borders, and pones don't look good and will be working on fixing them but am open to suggestions
I personally would replace the swastika with a black sun, make the soccer ball white and black, and make the swastika/black sun the same color as the red flag background.
I'm just about to ask my friend if he'd be willing to help us with the Blenders, too.
>>125928 Well shit anon, that look great! Sure it could use a bit of a clean up but the design is great and I'd keep it just clean it up and leave the bottom without text. That way when we figure out what we want to call our test cup we can have you put it on.
>>125929 tried that moments ago, I'm not completely sold but 'm not sold on anything else either.
>>126023 >>126032 opinions on what to do about the text? everything that I try either clashes horribly (/mlp/ colorschemes) or looks to mean (gradients and underglow.) I'm at a bit of a loss
Three revisions for prototype. Also have a version with solid black poners but I didn't feel that was as clean looking. Any specific combinations or changes you want to see I can post as every element is in a different layer.
>>126198 The closet thing that we have to a dedicated logo is the /mlpol/ flags such as pic related. However, there was never a consensus on which flag, if any, would be used as our logo.
>>128379 Would haves could haves and should haves, I still enjoyed the ride. >>128377 Its also funny because /mlp/ won top scorer with >rape and top assister with Best Pony. They won a lot of awards even for not winning a third star.
>>128435 >I still enjoyed the ride. Me too, it was some truly amazing matches to watch, and I am not sad that we didn't get the finale that would make most others reeee. It was exciting to the end.
Is the /mlp/ 4cc YouTube page acting up for anyone else? I click on "Videos" and I get a "Channel Does Not Exist" message. The videos can still be viewed, if you find them through YouTube search.
Having watched and rewatched and rewatched etc. the 4cc, I'd like to suggest the following for Mlpol's "Main" goalhorn. https://youtu.be/S7q_12tYZdA None of MLPs anthems are directly MLP-related, and yet they're all high-energy, exiting songs. "You Better Get Ready to Die" and "Twilight" (aside from the reference of the latter) are far removed from anything MLP, and yet they're songs that hype. I think Mlpol could do to include that sort of aesthetics in the music.
>>135879 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx4ymmAahBw Ready to Die was in reference to Pinkie and the cupcakes. Also Andrew is a horsefucker who loves Pinkie and to party so it has a lot going for it. Don't get me wrong, its sure not directly related to the show but nearly everything is a reference to board culture in some way or another, which is why OC and references are likely the best stuff, its just an added bounces if its Hyp.
>>135883 >is disturbed I stand corrected, but a case could be made that "Jump" has a fitting motif wrt Mlpol, especially considering its inception, rejection, and re-emergence. Its just an idea, and while I appreciate the Deutschland Bard's work, I think there is room for improvement.
>>135886 Well in all honesty besides Russia bros OC I'm very much open to changing most of the music for the team. I'd just be careful about making the references, a good rule of thumb is if someone from our community avoids these threads comes to watch a match randomly can he understand the references? This applies not only to players but also to anthems/goalhorns.
