Should not be necessary. But nothing is perfect and there can be edge cases when something slips by. But all normal and knows exif tags and info should be removed (just don't want to give 100% guarantee as edge cases could happen). Have not got any reports about exif not being stripped.

If you're on windows you can do an

>Choose Properties
>Go to Details
>Select "Remove properties and Personal Information"
if you want to be double sure and don't want the hassle of using external sites

I made the code so it removes exif data because there have been instances where people self-doxed themselves on 4chan before 4chan started to strip exif data. So exif data is removed for the benefit of the posters due to any security risk.
