Inside he sees an older mare busy at a desk, but near the entrance is a young, apricot-colored mare–at least, probably old enough to a mare, despite being quite short–with a white stripe down her nose between bluish-purple eyes. Her auburn mane falls over one side with a simple cut. She appears to be wearing a long, midnight blue dress that accentuates its plain style with small, four-pointed stars of lighter hue.

He doesn't waste his time here so as to not embarrass the poor mare any further, and leaves the section with her as soon as he's made his selection. That's certainly cheaper than I expected, especially considering the coat. The suit is middle-of-the-line and not bespoke so it would not be very expensive, though. Amber makes sure to double-check the total from this purchase before telling it to him.

Amber doesn't know much about fur coats, considering them morbid and something only griffons would like. The current popular style is brown or dark grey with white being a little uncommon. Silver picked one before Amber could get a close look at it.
Also let's not forget that all the lingerie is also made of silk, and we know how that tends to get marked up.
