What VPNs can protect me and keep my internet usage anonymous?
Pic unrelated

All VPNs suck and probably log everything you do on internet as well. I swear it was just a (((bug))), goy!
Either use tor or buy a VPS and use a proxy.
White men use Tor Browser or Tails. (bonus points if you select the safest security setting)
>>3076>Who could possibly beIndeed. There is a clear pattern of surveys, intel gathering, and miserable attempts to lurk like a horsefucker.
It is striking the the progression, like there are third parties funding the effort.
>>3078Nah, that's just,... one of our English posters
>>3078Fuck surveys and fuck Intel. Fuck AMD and the green one too.
Anyway what VPNs actually work? I live in Communist UK so I think I should hide my internet use with something better than Tor.
>>3103>Anyway what VPNs actually work?literally none of them.
your only options are: either use TOR or host your own.
>>3110Have downloaded Tor. Now what?
>>3115No thanks, I've got it working now.
Why is the font crisper and cleaner in this browser? Brave Browser blurs everything a little for no reason.
So do I just use Tor to access this site now or are there Tor-only websites worth checking out?
Has the situation changed? Express is looking suspect (
https://restoreprivacy.com/kape-technologies-owns-expressvpn-cyberghost-pia-zenmate-vpn-review-sites/) and I'd at least like to switch to a service that doesn't have that sort of worry. Is Astrill any good? Also, I heard it's best to get a small VPN from a provider outside the territory of major spy agencies, like Switzerland. Are there any recommendations for "less-bad" at least?
Also, >anthro
>>4503>Also, I heard it's best to get a small VPN from a provider outside the territory of major spy agencies, like Switzerland.>SwitzerlandAll VPNs exist to log traffic. There is a reason why they are allowed and it is because zog owns them.
>>4505Not if you can set up your own. Easiest way is to just buy server space from a good hosting provider (epik, others), or just another internet connection that you pay for, like hosting it on your home computer and connecting to it from whatever mobile devices while on the road.
>>4503There are other issues too, there was a jewish one that started suddenly gaining popularity (forget the name) - turns out it was started by the IDF.
I pay for the proton subscription, it seems pretty good overall.
It is not a bad idea to host your own VPN, because most commerical VPNs are already on lists for various countries and some services to just block the 'list of known VPNs' traffic.
Shit is disgusting these days.
>>4510>Not if you can set up your own>I pay for the proton subscription>It is not a bad idea to host your own VPNNo anon that I know would ever say such an oxymoron.
Please, I beg you, go back to /leftypol/, the synagogue, facebook, or whatever normie place you come from and die.
And some say that ignorance is a bliss... Damn!
>>4510Technically you are not wrong, but I think
>>4511 is referring to the fact that if you host you own VPN, you defeat its purpose.
For your interest, the situation hasn't changed: You use Tor. Tor is for privacy.
You don't want to use Tor? There's technically three other options: Free VPN, Paid VPN, or self-hosted VPN.
To a free VPN, every user is both a cost and a liability. You should expect them to exist for fucking you over.
A paid VPN has some theoretical incentive to keep your privacy. However, by making the payment you're handing over more personal data than you're likely to protect. Imagine being able to connect all of a user's internet activity to their credit card number, that's what it's like being a paid VPN operator.
Self-hosting a VPN is the perfect solution, but for privacy it requires access to an egress point that's not associated with your identity (essentialy the same problem as the paid VPN). You basically want complete control without anyone knowing you're in control; You're the illuminati.
So you use Tor. Tor is theoretically and practically sound, and it has enough users to hide in the crowd. Use the Tor browser or the Tails operating system.
